Good morning and welcome to the artist morning.
My name is Darius and I'm so grateful that you and I get this time together.
Today's guided meditation will be on the theme of nurture,
On the theme of carving out some space for ourselves to nurture and love and support ourselves to live a full creative life.
There's a lot you have to do,
Focus,
Discipline,
Perseverance and it's really important to celebrate,
To support and to recognize ourselves.
Let's begin our meditation.
If your eyes are open,
I'd like to invite you to gently close them now as we begin to go inwards together.
Let's take a nice deep breath here,
Breathing in,
Holding at the top and letting it all go.
Let's just take a moment to land,
To slow things down and just to feel what's alive inside you now.
We're so used to going fast and focusing on the future.
Let's just take a moment,
Connect with our bodies,
With our breath and to connect with our hearts.
If possible,
Continue taking nice long deep breaths.
Use the breath to bring you into your heart space.
Follow it from the tips of your lips,
From your nostrils,
Down your throat,
Down your chest,
Your lungs,
Into your heart space.
A gentleness,
Calm and ease to flow through your body,
Allowing it to soften your shoulder,
Your neck,
Your forehead,
Your jaw.
Allow it to work allow it to work its way down your torso.
Feels like a hug from someone you love,
Holding you,
Embracing you,
Supporting you.
Let's take a deep breath here.
You pay close attention.
There is something new here.
There is a new energy,
New day.
And the truth is,
I've never been here before.
Never experienced this day.
We've never lived this many days on earth.
It might look similar,
But there is something new here for us.
You,
My friend,
Have traveled a long distance to get here.
Many ups and downs.
The journey is not finished.
A lot more life for the next few moments to focus on now.
Focus on how far we've come.
If no one's told you in a while,
I'm proud of you.
Maybe you are open to that message.
Maybe you are resistant to it.
That's okay too.
I am proud of how much you care.
I'm proud of how far you've come.
I'm proud of the person you have become.
I am proud of the creative risks you take.
I'm even proud of you when things don't go your way.
Each time you do or don't do,
Please be lovable.
You do,
Don't do.
Always be worthy of love.
Let those words land.
Each day and each person is different.
Choose how much you want to receive or resist.
Message.
There's no right or wrong way of doing this.
Capacity to open your heart.
One more percent.
I'm going to share some more affirmations with you now.
To make mistakes.
To get messy.
To be scared.
And to take up more space.
To shine bright.
You my dear,
Ever you want to be.
To be whoever you choose to be.
You do.
Always be lovable.
What you do.
You always be worthy of love.
Let's just take a moment here in the pause between the song to notice what's happening with our heart.
Maybe you are used to getting messages like this and that's lovely.
Maybe it's a new thing for you and that's okay too.
My belief is whether you receive it or resist it,
The love,
The support is always here for you.
This is our last song together.
Something new is happening.
Something is blossoming.
Something is shifting.
Maybe it's subtle.
Maybe it's big.
I'm going to stay quiet for the rest of this song.
Give you some time and space with your heart.
Bravo dear artist.
Bravo dear creator.
Wherever you went,
However far you traveled,
However much you received or resisted the message of this meditation,
I am grateful you made it to the end.
Let's take a deep breath here to close our meditation.
Breathing in and letting it all go.
For those of you that are joining us live at the artist morning,
I'm going to put 20 minutes on the clock to allow us to do some private personal journaling.
Of course,
If you're catching us on a replay,
Perhaps on insight timer,
You could do the same.
Put some time on your clock and see what's here and ready to be expressed through your pen and paper.
Thank you for meditating with me.
My name is Darius and I will see you next time.
