My name is Danielle Street.
I'm going to be focusing on moving through change,
That letting go,
And discovering that new identity and building your confidence again.
I need to slow down a little bit to speed up,
But you want to be discerning about what you're moving ahead on.
So it's about this natural shedding bringing us into illumination,
It's lighting our path ahead,
It's lighting us up within,
And it's helping us to find clarity and to find truth,
Simplicity,
Slowing down,
Because we need not just the shedding but the learnings,
The gifts,
Slowing down so you can start to recognize what it is that you want.
But when you slow down,
You start to make boundaries for yourself that you didn't realize that you hadn't been doing before.
We sense that something's shifted and I think everyone's feeling this shift and you start to realize what you'll gently say no to,
You start to realize what becomes a bit more important to you,
And you start to train people the other way too.
I'm always quite fast in my work environment.
I work in not-for-profit as well as do this work,
And it's always fast paced,
And if one's like,
Oh you need to just slow down,
I'm like,
How can I slow down?
Then you've got your family life and everything else.
If you're the kind of person who needs interaction with other people a lot,
Maybe the telephone or whatever,
Then you might find you're not making as many calls or something like that.
Things start to change.
Shedding,
Release,
And internal transformation,
Which can feel yucky but it's important.
Like the season,
It's really important that we take that time to go within and to slow down.
I'm going to invite you to find a comfortable position.
Just gently close your eyes or soften your eyes if you prefer to leave them open.
We're going to breathe in through our nose,
And hold,
And then breathe out and let it go.
Breathing in and out.
Breathe in through the nose and hold.
Maybe just taking an extra sip of air through your nose if you can.
Making that breath deeper.
This really helps to calm the nervous system.
In and then a little out.
Breathing in and hold that.
And now letting it go.
And just continue your normal rhythm of breathing.
In and out.
Feel your body relax.
Your head,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your hands and fingers.
Feel your torso relax.
Your thighs,
Your hips,
Knees,
Calves,
Feet,
Toes.
And feel yourself very grounded,
Whether you're lying or sitting down.
Embraced by Mother Earth.
And know where to be.
Just in that beautiful,
Calm,
Energetic space.
You're very safe,
You're very loved.
Feel yourself gently dropping into that beautiful relaxation.
Allowing your mind just to drift and go into the alpha state.
Beautiful,
Mindful state of meditation.
And as you drop into that calm space,
I'm going to ask you some reflective questions.
You don't have to do anything.
We're in meditation space.
So the first question is,
What have you outgrown?
Just keep breathing gently and asking yourself,
What have you outgrown?
So I'll give you a moment.
Beautiful,
And just continue to breathe in and out.
Don't judge anything that's coming up.
You may have something,
You may not.
Just sit with it,
Held and very safe.
So the next question I want to ask you is,
What are you ready to let go of?
Just breathe into that and just reflect whatever comes up.
So I'll give you a moment.
What are you ready to let go of?
And now the next question.
Beautiful.
What identity or role no longer fits you?
Just keep breathing and I'll give you a moment.
Beautiful.
What feels complete in your life now?
And again I'll give you a little bit of time just to reflect what's closing,
What feels complete.
So the next question is,
What feels ready to move forwards?
Could be something that you've been pondering,
Thinking about,
Hesitating on,
That you could have already had something in action.
Just take a moment to think about that.
What feels ready to begin in your life?
And I'll give you a few moments just to reflect on that.
Just allow whatever needs to arise.
There's no right or wrong answer here.
And as we continue in this beautiful reflective state,
Try and stay present,
Just sit with it.
Final question is,
What makes you feel energized or alive?
We want more of this in our life,
So really feel your best and just reflect on that.
You might even like to imagine a time when you're feeling really good.
Really feel it,
See it,
Breathe it,
See what you were wearing,
What were you doing,
Who were you with.
Really feel into that visualization of what makes you feel energized.
Beautiful,
And so now we're going to come to the end of our meditations.
I ask you just to drop back into breathing again,
Giving thanks for everything that's come up for you and being ready for new beginnings,
A new energy,
A new momentum.
I invite you to breathe in love,
To really feel being embraced by love,
Which I think is a really beautiful thing to do.
And now when you breathe out,
Just let go of all the things that you're shedding and what's no longer serving you anymore.
Let's just breathe into that together,
Take one breath in and a really gentle breath out,
And slowly open your eyes and come back into the room.
And I'll give you a couple of moments just so that you can ground into those.
Really feel yourself present.
After today I recommend take a bit of extra time and just reflect,
Just believe in it,
That good energy is coming.
And if it's too big to think that it's all going to happen at once,
Just slow it down to little bite-sized pieces and then you can focus on gratitude instead.
We're coming to the end of today,
Completion.
We had those really core questions.
What feels ready to begin in your life now?
What feels complete in your life now?
What feels ready to begin to move forward?
And what makes you feel energized and alive?
And they're the things that you need to connect into and keep feeling.
Namaste.
