Hello everyone,
My name is Dr.
Danny Lockwood and welcome to your meditation today.
Today's meditation will focus on transition and change and moving through them with grace and ease and peace.
Find a comfortable spot to sit,
Ground yourself,
Ground your body,
Feel something underneath you,
Feel the heaviness weighing down on your shoulders,
Become aware of the tension you might be holding in your jaw or your neck or your upper back.
Allow your worries to fall into the ground or into the chair that you're sitting in and let's begin.
Take a deep cleansing breath in,
Fill the belly,
Let the air go down all the way to your lower belly.
Become aware of the noises outside.
Allow them to become further and further away from you.
Just distant sounds that don't really matter.
For now,
Let's just be present.
Let's just take these minutes.
This is what we have right now.
Allow the stress of the day or of the sleep to wear off of you like ocean waves coming on sand.
Let yourself drift away just for a few minutes.
Transition is a very difficult thing.
Many people struggle with the unknown.
That's why transition becomes so difficult.
What's on the other side of this?
What will happen if?
This all happens because we've decided to live in the future instead of the present.
The truth is the only thing we can guarantee is the present state.
Anything else could go either way.
It creates turmoil and pull and worry and overwhelm that ultimately will paralyze us and keep us from moving forward to the thing that we know will bring us freedom.
Breathe into that unknown.
Let it come to the surface.
Let all the fears and worry come to the surface about what could happen or what might happen or maybe what has happened.
We really don't know what the next step will hold but by being present and having control over our breath right now we can take one more step towards freedom.
This is what we have.
Let's breathe.
When uncertainty comes,
Make sure to ground your feet into the earth.
Feel the weight coming down on your body like a warm hug from the universe.
We don't have to do it right.
We just have to do it.
Give yourself grace.
Take a second and give yourself permission to have grace.
With that grace we can allow space for peace.
We can also allow space for a miracle.
The miracle is the gift on the other side of the patience.
As we go through the transition,
The absolute worst part of it so that we can find relief on the other side where we will still be whole.
Maybe a few bumps and bruises but we will still be whole.
Breathe.
And out.
Let the air,
Let the oxygen come through every cell in your body to ease places where there's tension and stress and worry.
Allow yourself to be focused and present right here with faith that the answers will come,
That the next step will appear,
That the universe is there to catch you on the other side.
No matter how hard it seems.
I have never let myself down.
Why would I start now?
Allow that gratitude to come through about how you've never let yourself down.
That you've always found a way,
Even when the transition seemed scary,
Stressful,
Impossible.
You still have never left yourself.
And with faith,
You'll walk just like you did in the past.
Just like you'll do in the future.
And just like you're always intended to do.
A walk of faith.
That's life.
That's the journey of life.
No matter how strange and scary that transition may be,
The truth is,
You have you.
You will find a way.
Your resiliency,
Your innovation,
Your strength.
No one can take that from you.
Breathe in the knowing that you will get through it.
Breathe in the knowing that there is an answer.
Breathe in the knowing that the best innovation happens on the other side of the unknown.
Take another deep breath in.
And out.
And out.
One more,
Just because it feels so good.
And out.
Move your fingers and toes.
Blink your eyes.
Wake up to the moment that you have.
Allow yourself to let ideas flow.
To let faith flow again.
So that innovation can come through.
Your answer is there.
Just awaken to it.
Be present to it.
Wishing you all a wonderful day.
Until next time,
Peace and grace.
You.
