There's this pressure so many people of us carry.
We can feel it in the chest,
In the belly,
This tight,
Heavy feeling.
The pressure to be better,
To be good enough,
To live up to expectations of our parents,
Our kids,
Our partners,
Our friends.
The pressure of not making mistakes,
The pressure of being perfect.
And honestly,
This pressure feels so real.
I feel it too.
Especially since co-founding my own business.
It grew in ways I never imagined at the beginning.
And with that in my mind came more responsibility,
More pressure,
More weight.
But here's what I realized.
That pressure is an illusion.
Because trying to never make mistakes is actually the fastest way to stay exactly where you are.
The moment you move forward,
The moment you try something you've never done before,
You will make mistakes.
And that's not failure,
That's growth.
Every mistake you make is actually proof of courage.
It means you're moving,
It means you're expanding,
It means you're alive.
And perfection,
What even is that?
Everyone has a different definition.
The perfect body,
The perfect diet,
The perfect career,
The perfect life.
What feels perfect to me might feel completely wrong to you.
So I want you to ask yourself something today.
What are you running towards?
And is it even your definition of perfect?
Or is it something you picked up from someone else?
The invisible pressure on your chest,
It's not reality.
It is something we created or something we allowed others to place inside of us.
And the truth is,
Just being here is already enough.
You don't need to prove your worth and you don't need to earn your place.
You are built exactly the way you are because that's what's needed.
If you were meant to be different,
You would be.
So today,
Let yourself soften a little.
Doing your best is enough.
Being yourself is enough.
You are not here to be perfect.
You are here to be you.
And that's exactly what the universe wanted.
