This is a meditation for the spring equinox.
The equinox marks the beginning of the energetic year,
As the duration of daylight and darkness are approximately equal.

During this time,
We move from winter to spring,
As the sun crosses the celestial equator from south to north in the northern hemisphere.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling and exhaling through your nose.
Allow for your breath to be a source of grounding and relaxation.
As you breathe,
Become aware of the present moment.
Feel the support beneath you and the gentle rise and fall of your belly with each breath.
Can lift your shoulders up,
Back,
And down,
Opening up your chest,
Allowing for any tension in your body to slowly dissolve with each breath.
Find a comfortable position for your hands,
On your lap,
On your belly,
Facing upwards or downwards.
Imagine yourself in an open field,
Surrounded by vibrant colors of spring.
The air is crisp,
The scent of blooming flowers fills the atmosphere.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,
And hear the gentle rustle of the wind.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine roots extending from your body into the earth.
Feel the grounding energy from the earth beneath you,
Drawing strength and stability.
Feel the flow of energy through the roots and into your body.
With each breath,
This energy moves up your body,
Extending above your head and into the sky,
Connecting you to the sun.
Take a moment to connect with the energy of the spring equinox.
Envision the delicate dance of light and darkness,
Symbolizing harmony.
Reflect on your own life,
Consider areas where you seek harmony.
What aspects of your life need more attention and balance?
Allow this energy to guide you in finding a sense of equilibrium within yourself.
Take a few more breaths,
Absorbing the energy of balance and renewal.
Let the strand of energy connecting you to the ground and sun become absorbed into the trillions of cells in your body.
When you are ready to do so,
Slowly return back to the present moment.
Breathe deeply as you slowly open up your eyes and invite gentle movement back into your body.
