Welcome for this meditation.

I invite you to consider laying down on the floor.

Support yourself with whatever cushioning you may want to be comfortable and situate yourself into a place where you can let yourself soften.

Create an environment that supports you letting go of your mental grasp on needing to do anything other than experiences meditation.

When you are situated,

Take a deep grounding breath,

Letting out a fully audible exhale.

Another deep breath,

Maybe groaning with the exhale,

Creating a rumbling sound to soften the body.

Release everything that has built up in you before arriving here.

Continue taking a few more deep breaths,

Sighing on your exhale,

Emptying yourself.

No matter if you feel empty already,

Continue letting out these deep,

Full exhales,

Filling your lungs to their max capacity,

And creating a grounding vibration in your body with your breath.

Continue letting go of your breath and letting it return to whatever state is normal for it right now.

Begin to scan your body.

Take notice of any sensations currently within it.

Welcome all the subtleties of your body into your awareness,

Experiencing what it is to be alive.

And instead of deciding how your experience should look,

I invite you to perceive yourself and life through your senses with an openness to discover.

How does your experience differ when you begin to savor the very act of breathing?

Continue letting go of any control you're holding onto how you are breathing.

And instead,

Savor letting yourself be breathed,

Allowing your natural rhythm to flow throughout you.

If you are lying on the floor,

Can you feel your ribcage expand against the ground beneath you?

Each inhale rippling movement throughout your spinal column,

Each individual rib having its own movement.

Admiring your own body as an ocean.

Connecting with your sensations,

Liberated in your own melody of undulating movements that are exploring your breath.

Speed up,

Deepen,

Slow down.

Discover the sensations that arise in each slightly different movement.

Before your mind can write off a sensation as something it knows and has seen before,

Let yourself curiously play in the awareness you can cultivate.

You have never been in this exact moment before.

Therefore you can't possibly know the potential within it,

Unless you allow yourself to be open to exploring it.

Maybe experience breathing to the deepest part of your belly.

And maybe even picture inhaling your breath all the way down into your toes.

Scan your body.

Notice if this has affected any of the other sensations in your body.

Has it influenced your mind?

Has it influenced the tension in your muscles?

Explore expanding the heart as you inhale.

Maybe even focusing on filling the breath out into the collarbones.

Has your body responded to each shift in your breathing?

Maybe there is a deeper feeling of relaxation.

Maybe more invigoration.

And maybe today there hasn't been much of a response in your body.

We are constantly changing beings and opening ourselves up to this exploration allows us to find the miraculous nature of being alive.

So many sensations available to us that we often gloss over searching for more.

Often what drives our actions is to create some sort of guarantee for safety and therefore making peace and enjoyment accessible.

But this external search stops you from fully relaxing into yourself now.

I ask you,

What is it you truly desire to feel?

And instead of trying to acquire this feeling,

Can you gift it the space to come to you in its own time?

Allow yourself to let go of any ways you're searching or reaching for more.

Give yourself the permission now to relax into pleasure,

To relax into every sensation and experience you uncover,

Knowing that it is safe to welcome it.

It is safe to explore and feel without any goals,

Without needing to create some sort of experience.

Just having the experience be.

The outward exploration in itself is beautiful,

But whatever we are searching for is within us.

We hold the authorization in ourselves to allow safety,

Deep orgasmic pleasure,

Joy to arise within us,

To be comfortable in all forms of being alive,

Both light and shadow,

Comfortable and uncomfortable.

Knowing that our ability to sensationally taste life,

To deeply free ourselves from shame and blissfully open up to the experience of being alive.

It isn't in the hands of some external mind altering experience,

But within our own permission.

All of us are living,

But are all of us alive?

Do you notice your heart beating right now?

Blood pumping through your miraculously complex vein system,

Carrying oxygen to your muscles that connect your bones together so that this body you have been gifted from the earth can move.

Crisp and clear.

Reality is right here,

Right now.

Notice and noticing what it feels like to be alive.

Can you notice the sounds around you?

What does it feel like in your body to hear them?

Let go of the mind labeling them.

Notice how it feels in your body to hear them.

See if you can notice the sensation of the air against your skin.

A deeply intimate experience with life is available to you when you tap into your senses without moving your hands.

Can you become aware of them?

Can you sense them without moving?

Slowly,

I invite you to lift your fingers.

What sensations do you enjoy in just moving your fingers?

Explore movement in your hands as if you're exploring what it feels like to have hands for the first time.

Allow yourself to create whatever movement wants to be expressed in your body.

What does it feel like to be in your body?

To be alive in this moment and to have your hands.

Maybe you want to explore more of your body through your awareness,

Letting your movement ripple to new parts of your body.

Playing with sensation,

Exploring the stillness and movement.

Sensing life rather than contemplating it.

Alive.

Bringing life through your arms and legs.

Aware of where your spine is resting within your body.

Noticing joints and the ligaments,

Tendons and muscles.

Making movement possible for you.

Maybe rolling a bit on the ground,

Noticing how each part of the body feels to be supported by the floor.

The intimacy of how the skin feels touching against it.

Notice how the breath moves differently through the body in each way that you move.

When you're ready,

I invite you to welcome in a slower pace.

Gradually becoming slower and slower.

Savor the richness of the awareness you have just cultivated.

By listening so intently to this body.

Letting the delicacies come even more alive in this slowness.

Reaching your way towards stillness.

And eventually fully arriving in physical stillness.

What do you notice in yourself?

What state is the mind in?

Does it become alert?

Busy?

Silent?

What is the state of your breath?

The air entering and exiting your body.

How does it touch you on the way in?

How does it leave you feeling on the way out?

I invite you to take a couple of moments to yourself.

Meeting the aliveness within you.

By allowing yourself to be full.

Giving yourself permission to be complete in the now.

Not needing to move on to another task.

Not enjoying this experience before reemerging into the external environment.

Be steady.
