🎵 To begin this meditation,
Find a comfortable position.
This can be sitting or lying down.
🎵 Close your eyes.
Allow your neck and shoulders to relax,
Releasing any tension they might store.
🎵 Your breath is slow and steady.
With each exhale,
Imagine your worries leaving you.
With each inhale,
Envision sunlight and warmth returning to you.
🎵 🎵 🎵 In the Northern Hemisphere,
Yule is the winter solstice,
The shortest day and the longest night of the year.
It is at this time when we begin to see the sun returning,
And start to sense that a bit of warmness is right around the corner.
🎵 Footsteps on frozen earth.
On this night,
There is rebirth.
The Yule fire is burning bright,
To keep us safe this longest night.
Footsteps on frozen earth.
On this night,
There is rebirth.
🎵 🎵 On this night,
There is rebirth.
Imagine yourself coming indoors,
And feeling warmth after a walk in the frozen wilderness.
🎵 You sit down with your favorite blanket,
And kindle a candle.
🎵 🎵 🎵 Footsteps on frozen earth.
On this night,
There is rebirth.
The Yule fire is burning bright,
To keep us safe this longest night.
Footsteps on frozen earth.
On this night,
There is rebirth.
🎵 🎵 🎵 🎵 The flickering flame reminds you,
That longer days filled with sunlight,
Are on their way back.
Any dark times you might have experienced,
Will too,
Return to light.
🎵 Candle burning bright,
To bring back warmth and light.
Lengthening days and light from the sun,
The change of seasons has begun.
Without winter,
There can be no summer.
Without darkness,
There can be no light.
🎵 As winter fades away,
So does that which no longer serves you.
🎵 🎵 You begin to open your eyes at your own pace,
Feeling clarity,
Knowing that you will walk in brightness.
🎵 As winter fades away,
So does that which no longer serves you.
🎵 🎵 🎵 Walk in love and light,
My dear friend.
🎵 The crow flies from me to thee,
To send the message,
Blessed be.
Namaste.
