Many of us are familiar with chakras,
The seven energy centers that reside in the human body to govern different elements.
And while I do acknowledge and appreciate the existence of chakras,
I want to distill the energy centers down to just three points for this talk.
The three cauldrons.
The cauldron of Posey is a 15th century Celtic poem that points to three energy centers in the body.
Before I go on,
Please note that you do not have to be wiccan or druid to appreciate this message.
Nor is this message designed to give any type of medical advice.
The theory of the three cauldrons suggests that there are three cauldrons within our bodies representing warming,
Motion,
And wisdom.
The warming cauldron resides at the pelvis or the root chakra.
The motion cauldron exists in our chest or the heart chakra.
The wisdom cauldron is at our foreheads,
The crown chakra.
The poem suggests that after birth,
Each of the three cauldrons are positioned differently.
The cauldron of warming sits upright,
So to give us life energy.
The cauldron of motion is tipped in a sideways position so that it can be eventually tipped and filled with what inspires and moves us.
The cauldron of wisdom is overturned above our crown and it is turned upright as we fill it with our spiritual development.
Before we begin a short meditation,
Take a moment to contemplate this.
Close your eyes.
Take three deep breaths.
Whatever position you're in,
Feel yourself rooting into the earth and drawing the earth's energy into your body.
Keeping your eyes closed,
Visualize the three cauldrons within yourself.
Your warming cauldron in your pelvic area is drawing in energy as it has been since you were born.
Take a moment to acknowledge that and thank it.
Is your cauldron of motion at your heart center still tipped sideways or is it balanced and filled?
If so,
How have you filled it?
If you haven't filled it with something of your liking,
Consider how you might do so.
Keep your breath slow and steady,
Scanning your body.
Allow your attention to rise up to your cauldron of wisdom at your crown.
Inhale your true wisdom.
Exhale the wisdom of others that no longer serves you.
Recognize that your cauldron of wisdom is turned upright and it has been for so long filled with the wisdom you sought.
You are light and life.
You are perfect.
You do not need to seek the approval of others and you can fill each of your cauldrons as you choose.
At your own pace,
Invite subtle movements into your fingers and toes as you begin to open your eyes.
As you take another deep breath,
Don't forget to praise yourself.
I wish you so much peace,
Joy and love and I hope you will fill your three cauldrons with that too.
The crow flies from me to thee to send the message,
Blessed be.
Namaste.
Namaste.
