Alternate nostril breathing aims to balance the brain hemispheres, which may help lower anxiety and increase mental clarity, creativity, and calm. In this practice, you will use your right thumb to block the right nostril and your ring finger to block the left nostril. You will be guided to alternate breaths through each nostril by inhaling through the left, holding, exhaling through the right, holding, and then reversing the pattern. Repeat daily for best results.
