Hello.
If you chose to listen to this segment,
It's probably because you're feeling stressed out.
You may be feeling a lack of self-worth.
You may also be struggling with attachments or holding on to something that maybe the universe is trying to pull away from you.
Maybe you know in your heart this person,
This idea,
This thought,
Behavior isn't good for you.
It could also be something that you've lost already.
And the intention of this segment isn't to bypass emotion.
It's not to say that anything that you're feeling is wrong or bad or unnecessary.
Every feeling has a very important place and should be acknowledged because this is how we gain information is through our emotions.
But the intention of this segment is to help find relaxation,
Connect with a little bit more of our self-worth,
And to also discuss some ideas around attachment.
Before getting started,
Finding your breathing.
Taking a deep full breath in,
Deep full breath out,
And again deep full breath in,
Deep full breath out,
And notice your posture,
How you're sitting.
Wherever you are,
Please begin to sit up nice and tall,
Creating length in your spine,
Sliding your shoulders back so that they feel as if they're floating above the waist,
And then gently tucking your chin in,
Finding a meditative posture,
Sitting like a yogi.
And then come back to those deep breaths.
Allow the ribs to expand side to side,
Front to back,
Full breaths,
And as you exhale,
Exhaling gently,
Letting the air slowly move out of your body.
You're not forcing all of the air out at once.
It's a smooth and slow process.
Taking a few rounds of breath,
Attempting to get the inhales and exhales to be even,
Maybe four to six seconds in,
Four to six seconds out.
Please place one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart.
And please continue to breathe like this.
Try not to hold your breath.
Try to keep awareness on these even inhales,
Even exhales.
And in life,
We all have our own currency.
We all have something about us that we feel is of value to the world around us.
That could be a relationship,
It could be our beauty,
It could literally be our money,
It could be our intelligence,
Our ideas.
There's something about us that we convince ourselves is the reason that we are loved and that we are important.
And this is one of the tricks of the material world,
Right?
This human experience,
It's one of the many tricks within this human experience.
And so with one of your hands on your belly and one of your hands on your chest,
I want you to begin to connect to your idea of what source is.
Source energy,
Inner guidance.
It could even be God.
And once you're checked in here,
Focusing on that inner knowing,
Higher sense of purpose even.
Allowing yourself to acknowledge the reality that each being is profoundly important by virtue of simply being.
Each one of us has profound worth just by being who we are.
We don't need to have anything,
We don't need to do anything,
Don't need to be anything.
But how we can cultivate that is coming to this space.
Whenever we begin doubting that,
Coming to the space of inner knowing,
Inner security,
God,
Spirit,
Whatever it is for you.
And then by acknowledging this,
The idea of losing something diminishes a little bit.
There's not as much to lose anymore because what matters most is this connection to this space here within yourself,
With your own inner worth.
Memories are often one of the greatest points of pain.
Memories from our past,
Memories of what what once was,
Past relationships.
The art of mindfulness is going courageously into the present moment of what is right now.
And so what is right now?
What is the reality of right now?
And it doesn't have to be beautiful.
It just has to be real.
And what can you do after this meditation that will be loving to yourself?
What will be loving to you?
And taking a deep full breath in.
Deep full breath out.
And again,
Deep full breath in.
Deep full breath out.
Committing to yourself to be loving to yourself through the rest of the day.
I hope that the session was helpful for you.
I hope that you feel better than before you started.
Again,
My name is Christine and I hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you so much.
