Make sure for this meditation you sit in a comfortable position.
My name is Kari,
Let's meditate together.
Close your eyes if you haven't done so already.
And as you close your eyes,
Start to make it part of your practice.
The closing of your eyes is the beginning of you going into a different space.
When you close your eyes,
There's another world completely inside of you.
A place that you get excited about going to.
Meditation can be that.
It can be that special sanctuary inside of yourself.
That safe place.
A place that feels like home.
So when you close your eyes,
Close your eyes with that intention in mind.
Soften your shoulders.
And imagine even though you're seated and your spine is straight,
You're slowly and very gently softening into yourself.
Like there's a big fluffy pillow around you and beneath you that's got you covered.
Imagine that all the tension that's in your body is being drawn slowly with every breath that you take out of your body.
Allowing you to start to sink into that other world.
Watch your breath and pay attention to all of the different subtle movements that are created inside of yourself.
Feel the sensations as the breath enters into your body and journeys down through your being.
Imagine your breath like light and you're opening the curtains to the light.
As you breathe in,
You're allowing the light to come into your body.
And as you breathe out,
You're releasing the cobwebs,
The shadows,
Anything that's hiding in the corners.
Imagine that every inhale,
More light exposes what needs to be removed and released on your exhale.
And then come into the reason for your meditation today.
Come into that reality and the knowing that you have certain loops inside of your mind that play over and over and create self-judgment.
What if today we face the loops?
Today we open the curtains and pour light into our minds so we can see the truth of our own thoughts and the suffering that they can create on our mental and physical bodies.
It doesn't matter what your personal loop is.
It doesn't matter what you say to yourself that hurts,
Creates a feeling of being less than,
Not being good enough,
Not being perfect enough or worthy enough.
It doesn't matter what you say to yourself.
Just know that it's time.
It's time to create new loops and that's what we're doing today.
Look around you in your mind in your seated position and imagine that you're sat on a white soft blanket.
Reach down with your hands and pull the blanket up around you.
If it feels right,
Pull the blanket up over your head like a hood or even up over your face like a veil.
Pull yourself into your body,
Wrap your arms around your legs as if you're giving yourself a hug in this white fluffy blanket.
Just like some of us when we were children and we had a special blanket or a special cuddly toy or teddy that always made us feel secure and safe.
Let that blanket be that for you right now in this meditation with me.
Let your body soften into it like you have your safety net all around you,
Above you and below you.
And this blanket holds nothing but love for you,
Everything about you is loved by this blanket.
This blanket is completely surrounding you in love and light and anything that is an aspect of you that you generally judge as being illuminated very brightly as if it's been exposed.
And yet all that is inside of this blanket is still love.
Like you're showing it the worst of you.
Everything that maybe you hide from the rest of the world.
There's nowhere to hide inside of this blanket.
You're completely illuminated and exposed.
But all that there is is love.
Just love.
Inside of this blanket the only words that you hear inside of your mind is I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself on a loop playing over and over.
Your normal judgmental loops try to come forward.
They want to argue with this new pure love loop.
They want to say but what about this?
No but what about this?
No but you haven't seen this part of me.
No but.
That all that the blanket allows and the light allows is this loop of love.
I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself.
The loop is all that you hear.
It breaks down the walls,
The darkness,
The shadows of all of your normal loops.
The light is too bright.
It overrides the shadows and the darkness.
I love myself.
I love myself.
You gently start to rock like a child.
Just feeling the earth underneath you.
Very slowly,
Very small movements moving your body to the sway and the sound of this loving new loop that you hear inside of your mind.
I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself.
It's starting to let the walls around your heart soften.
It's starting to make you soften.
Just let the new loop in.
Let it penetrate deep into your heart and let your heart start to open to the words.
I love myself.
I love myself.
The warmth and the soft blanket around you make you feel safe.
You know that you're loved.
You feel at home and secure with your safety net all around you.
Just let yourself,
Let your mind create a new groove.
And every time those judgmental thoughts try and scream and shout and make their way back in,
You automatically hear inside of your mind even louder,
Even stronger.
I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself.
You hear it over and over until the negative voices die down and fade.
Until eventually the loop dies,
Stops trying so hard to come back with its judgmental messages there's no point.
It has no power.
You don't hear it anymore.
You just hear that you love yourself and it's okay.
All of you is worth loving.
All the cobwebs,
All the lumps,
The bumps,
The scars,
The shadows,
All the problems,
The wounds.
It's all lovable.
And you love yourself.
Stay here for as long as you need to and just breathe in and out,
Repeating the loop of love.
Namaste my friend.
