Are you ready for some me time?

Okay.

Make sure that you're laying down in a comfortable position.

Move your arms away from your sides and your legs slightly apart.

Let your feet relax.

Close your eyes if you haven't done so already.

Let go of the world around you.

This is your time to just lay down and have some me time.

Close your eyes if you haven't done so already.

Let's go inside.

Start to just follow your breath.

That means be aware of your breath.

Follow the breath as you breathe in and breathe out.

Feel the breath as it enters your body through your nose or your mouth.

Be aware of it.

Start to let everything slow down and calm down just by breathing normal but focusing on your breath.

Just breathe.

Your breath is your best friend.

And depending on how you breathe will depend on how your body reacts.

If you're breathing quickly and shallow,

It sends signals to the brain that there's something that you need to be anxious or uneasy about.

If you breathe in long,

Soft,

Slow breaths,

Calm breaths,

The brain will relax.

The body will respond and relax.

Your breath controls who you are.

So use your breath as your best friend and your tool to help you through situations.

Now I'd like you to breathe longer,

Slower,

Deeper breaths.

Imagine in your mind that you're breathing in to the count of four.

So breathe in.

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold your breath.

Feel your body full of breath.

And then breathe out.

Two,

Three,

Four.

Feel your body and pause.

It feels like to release the breath.

And then breathe in.

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold your breath.

And breathe out.

Two,

Three,

Four.

Keep that pace.

Keep that rhythm going for a few breaths.

Notice how your body is starting to slow down and relax.

It's listening to your breath.

Now let go of the count and just breathe normal once again.

It's probably already slower and more relaxed.

Let's relax your body some more.

When you breathe in,

Imagine that you're breathing in to your head space.

Breathing in all around your head.

And then be aware of your head and let your head relax deeper into the pillow.

Just let it soften.

Let go of any tension in your neck.

Just let your head get heavy and relax.

Breathe into your shoulders.

When you exhale,

Allow your shoulders to soften and let go.

Feel them physically.

Let go.

Let them drop and get heavy.

Make more space between your shoulders and your neck.

And consciously be aware of any tightness or sensations that you have across your shoulders.

And just breathe in to them.

Use your breath to melt away the tension.

Every time you breathe in,

You're breathing in relaxation.

And every time you breathe out,

You let go of the tension and the tightness.

Just breathe into your shoulders.

The next time you breathe in,

Focus on your chest.

When you breathe out,

Let your chest muscles just soften and completely relax.

Allow the relaxation to start to roll down your arms.

Slowly move in as if it was just like warm golden honey rolling down to your elbows.

Down to your wrists.

All the way down to your fingertips.

Your ribs soften and relax.

Your lungs start to get shallow and slow down and relax.

Let your heart become more peaceful and the beating of your heart start to slow.

Take a nice deep breath all the way down into your abdomen.

And when you breathe out,

Release anything you're holding in your tummy.

Just release any of the tension.

Your hips get heavy.

Your back relaxes.

Just let go.

Enjoy this time and place that's just for you.

Your me time,

Your quiet time.

Treasure it.

Devour it.

Just be here right now in this moment.

Don't let your mind wander off to things that you have to do.

Responsibilities that you have can all wait.

This is your time to just breathe.

Connect to your breath,

Your best friend,

And relax.

Your legs are very heavy.

Your muscles are relaxed.

The muscles throughout your body are all relaxed.

Your bones are heavier.

You feel as if you're just sinking deeper and deeper into the ground.

Just let yourself go.

Your ankles relax.

Your feet relax.

Your entire body is so,

So relaxed and so heavy.

Yet at the same time it feels as if you could just float away.

Float away from the world for a while.

Just be in your own little bubble where no one can reach you.

No one can call you.

No one can shout your name.

It's just your space.

Your sacred sanctuary.

Floating above all your responsibilities.

All of the chores,

The demands.

You can just let it go.

Let it all go.

Connect to your breath and breathe.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Relax.

Every time you breathe in,

Say to yourself,

I am calm.

Take a nice deep breath and say to yourself when you breathe out,

I am calm.

You can do this anytime.

You don't have to be laid down like this.

You can stop in the middle of your day,

Close your eyes,

Take a nice deep breath.

And when you breathe out,

You say to yourself,

I am calm.

You can take back control of your mind and your emotions with your breath.

Breathe.

Relax.

Just float.

Let yourself float in the relaxation and the calm and the peace and the quiet.

Completely surrender to your time.

This is your time and space.

Let go.

Just let go.

Allow your entire being to just be.

Breathe in.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

My breath is my savior.

Say that as many times as you need to.

Breathe.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

My breath is my savior.

Breathe.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

Breathe.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

Breathe.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

Breathe.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

Breathe.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

Breathe.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

Breathe.

And when you breathe out,

Say to yourself,

My breath is my savior.

Breathe.
