Are you ready to meditate with Kari?
It's time to be so so still in your bed,
Super quiet,
So that you can relax your body and let go of your busy day.
Marlow was in bed relaxing.
She was trying very hard to go to sleep but she kept thinking about this certain situation.
Recently she'd had her ears pierced.
And Marlow was a very big fan of a series of stories that Kari made called Moonbow Forest.
In Moonbow Forest,
Stephanie gets her ears pierced for her birthday and she gets a very special pair of earrings that happened to allow her to go to a magical place in another dimension far,
Far away.
Now Marlow was laid in bed thinking about how cool it would be if her earrings happened to be magical just like Stephanie's.
She was thinking so much that it was keeping her awake.
Marlow tried to not think so much because when she thought about going to Moonbow Forest she would get super excited and because she was so excited she couldn't sleep and then she would try and not think about Moonbow Forest.
But then it would pop back into her head again and this kept happening over and over.
She'd been in bed 45 minutes and still couldn't fall to sleep.
She thought about doing some breathing exercises,
Taking nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breaths,
Breathing all the way down to her tummy.
She closed her eyes and started to try and relax all of the different parts of her body.
She relaxed her feet.
Her legs got heavy and tired and relaxed.
She relaxed all the tension around her eyes and across her forehead.
Marlow did very well at relaxing all of the different parts of her body until eventually she started to drift off into that sweet place where you're not quite asleep but it doesn't feel like you're awake and then something very strange started to happen.
Marlow could hear these very loud cracking sounds inside of her ears.
She looked around a room,
She thought about whether it was thundering and lightning outside.
She thought maybe her mum had dropped something downstairs.
But when she closed her eyes it started again.
But when she opened her eyes and looked around a room it stopped.
It was like the only time she heard the loud crackling sound was when she started to get all floaty and sleepy with her eyes closed.
She closed her eyes and heard the crackly sound again but tried to ignore it thinking maybe it was just something strange.
It was definitely strange alright.
It got even more strange when Marlow's nose started to twitch and her face started to tingle and then she started to feel tingly sensations in the tips of her fingers and the tips of her toes.
Her whole body started to feel as if it was vibrating.
It was a nice feeling.
She wasn't scared.
It felt very tingly like someone was tickling her all over but it was especially strong in her nose.
And then with her eyes still closed she saw what looked like a curtain in front of her face and she instantly thought about Stephanie and how Stephanie gets to Moonbow Forest.
Stephanie always sees a curtain,
A veil to another world and this was happening right now in this moment to Marlow.
Marlow started to get super excited and when she got very excited the curtain disappeared.
She figured out that she had to take long slow deep breaths and get all sleepy and floaty for the curtain to reappear.
Marlow reached out and pulled the curtain to one side.
That is when she saw what was behind the veil there in front of her face.
Green,
Red,
Bright blue,
Pinks,
Oranges,
Purples.
She saw what looked like the brightest,
Prettiest,
Most beautifulest place she had ever ever seen.
She looked down at her feet and she noticed that she was standing barefoot on the grass.
She whittled her toes and felt the earth underneath her feet.
The grass was prickly but soft at the same time.
Marlow had a feeling that she should reach down and take a piece of grass and somehow,
For some reason,
Eat it.
So that's exactly what she did.
She reached down to the ground and run her fingers across the grass.
She found the perfect blade of grass.
Brought it up to her mouth she smelt it first.
It smelt like grass but it also smelt like peppermint,
Chocolate peppermint flavor.
She opened her mouth and put the blade of grass inside.
She was right.
It tasted delicious,
Like mint chocolate flavored grass.
Marlow felt like she was tingling from the top of her head all the way down to the tips of her toes.
Marlow knew that she was in Moonbow Forest.
Over there in front of her she could see what looked like horses but she knew that they were unicorns.
They were just grazing on the peppermint,
Mint chocolate flavored grass.
There were white unicorns and silver unicorns in all different shapes,
Sizes and colors.
One of the unicorns lifted its head as if it felt her presence.
For a moment Marlow got a little bit nervous.
She wasn't sure if she was supposed to be there.
But then the unicorn started to walk towards her.
It had a gentle,
Sweet,
Happy face and she felt comfortable.
All of her fears disappeared.
Welcome,
Said the unicorn.
My name is Luna.
I don't think we've seen you here before.
Marlow said,
No,
I've never been here before.
This is my first time in Moonbow Forest.
Oh,
You are going to have so much fun,
Said Luna the unicorn.
What would you like to see first,
I wonder?
And then another unicorn started to walk towards them.
This unicorn was as black as night,
Completely opposite to Luna,
The white silvery unicorn.
The unicorn got closer and closer.
And as it got closer,
Marlow could see that its eyes were like stars in the sky.
Like a silvery,
Bluey gray color.
And they were so soft and sparkly and happy.
The unicorn introduced himself.
He said his name was Jupiter.
Would you like to come with me,
Said Jupiter?
Let's go and have an adventure.
Jupiter was a very special unicorn.
Some unicorns have the ability to psychically know everything.
And Jupiter instantly knew everything that Marlow would like to see there in Moonbow Forest.
The first place that he took her looked like big giant mud puddles.
And in those mud puddles were hundreds of tiny little fairies.
Swimming around and splashing,
Some of them were just laying in the mud puddles.
Some of them were laid back with tiniest,
Tiniest little bits of cucumber over their eyes.
As if they were laying in a spa,
Having a relaxing mud puddle session or something.
Marlow said,
What is this place?
And just as she spoke,
All of the hundreds of fairies flew up from the mud puddle and shook themselves off.
They flapped their wings and they got sparkly and bright.
And they were all flying there in front of her face.
Welcome,
Welcome,
Said the fairies.
Come join us in our fairy spa.
She was right.
It was a spa.
Marlow said,
Should I get in the mud?
One of the fairies that had a pretty pink dress on with the deepest reddest rose bud wings and a little pink tulip hat flew right in front of her face and said,
This is no ordinary spa.
Get inside and give it a taste.
Marlow climbed into the mud.
It wasn't cool or anything like that.
It was quite warm,
Like the perfect temperature.
She sunk down into the mud and it smelt so sweet and delicious.
One of the fairies said,
Taste it.
And then that got around and all the little fairies in unison were saying,
Taste it,
Taste it,
Taste it.
Marlow reached up and licked one of her fingers that was covered in what looked like the mud,
But it wasn't mud.
It wasn't mud at all.
It was chocolate flavored ice cream.
The most delicious chocolate flavored ice cream that she had ever,
Ever tasted.
It was as if it was made from the angels or even better,
It was created by the fairies.
This is magical mud.
Not only does it taste delicious and you can eat it as much as you want,
It makes you the happiest you have ever,
Ever felt.
Just being in this mud takes out all of your worries,
All of your stresses.
It makes you so happy and content inside.
You won't want for anything else,
Said the fairies.
It was true.
Marlow laid back and two little fairies flew down and put cucumber rings on her eyes.
She relaxed and took a big deep breath.
Her tingles got even stronger.
They were vibrating throughout her whole body.
But these tingles were like little messenger tingles traveling through all of her cells and her bones and her muscles,
Sending signals to her brain that all was well.
Everything was good in the world.
She was loved.
She's loved.
Everyone that she loves is good and safe and all that she knows to feel right now in the chocolate mud bath is complete happiness.
Marlow soaked it in.
It was like she was bursting full of happiness.
All of her cells and her bones,
Everything was bubbling and giddy and happy.
It was like one thousand billion,
Trillion butterflies were tickling inside of her tummy.
This was the happiest she'd ever felt.
Yet at the same time,
She was so relaxed,
So calm and at peace with the world.
She didn't want to move until all the fairies started to fly and buzz around her head and said,
Time for another adventure.
Time to go and play somewhere else.
Jupiter the unicorn said,
Let's go Marlow.
I want to show you a very special river.
Marlow climbed out of the mud.
She was covered in chocolate ice cream,
But it didn't seem to bother her.
It wasn't sticky or gross.
It was actually very soft and it smelled so good.
She only had to walk just a couple of steps.
Before Jupiter said,
Welcome to Slurpee River.
Slurpee River said Marlow.
The river was red.
It was obviously like cherry flavor or strawberry or raspberry flavor,
She thought.
She was very much surprised when she stepped into the Slurpee River,
Because that's what Jupiter said she should do to wash off all the chocolate mud.
It was so cold.
It was cold like a Slurpee,
But it was refreshing.
Do you want to taste?
Said Jupiter.
Guess what flavor it is.
Marlow already knew.
Cherry,
Maybe strawberry or raspberry.
Said Jupiter,
Give it a taste.
Marlow went down and scooped up some of the Slurpee in her hand,
Brought it up to her mouth.
It tasted like red shiny apples,
Red apples.
It was sweet and fresh and it smelled very very appley.
It was like eating,
But she wasn't.
She was drinking the bestest apple she'd ever tasted.
Let's face it,
Sometimes apples can be a little bit boring,
But not this Slurpee River.
It was absolutely delicious.
The fairy started to sing,
Swim,
Swim,
Swim.
Oh,
Thought Marlow,
I'm not sure I want to get that cold.
But she was brave.
She walked into the river up to her knees and then up to her thighs and then up to her tummy and then just laid back and swam around in the apple flavored Slurpee River.
It was so cool and refreshing like when you get in the ocean on a hot summer day.
And just then as she was swimming around on her back,
The clouds and the sky seemed to open up like curtains and it started to rain.
It rained sprinkles.
Not rain,
Like sprinkles,
You know,
Sprinkles that you have on ice cream sundaes or the sprinkles that you put on birthday cakes.
Those type of sprinkles,
Rainbow sprinkles falling from the sky like magic.
Marlow closed her eyes and opened her mouth.
This was so fun.
This is the best place in the world,
She thought.
I'm not surprised Stephanie loves this place.
Jupiter watched as Marlow swam around like a little guppy fish with her mouth wide open.
She kept opening and closing and chewing and opening and closing and chewing until eventually she got quite full.
She got out of the Slurpee River and Jupiter said,
Maybe it's time for something else.
Marlow was looking a little bit tired.
He told her to climb up on his back and as she did she noticed something she'd not noticed before.
All the rocks on the ground weren't rocks,
They were cookies.
All different shapes and sizes and what looked like different flavours.
She wasn't so full from all the sprinkles and the chocolate mud ice cream and the Slurpee.
She thought maybe it would be nice to try all those different cookies.
Jupiter told her to grab hold of his hair,
To squeeze tight with her knees so that they could go for a fly.
Marlow did just that and within a couple of seconds Jupiter was slowly moving up off the ground.
The sun was going down in Moonbow Forest.
You could see that the fairies were flying to the different trees where they went to sleep at night.
The unicorns were starting to lay down to rest.
Everything was slowing down there.
Everything new.
It was that time of day.
The rivers started to squish and splash around less and less.
All the flowers closed up their petals until the sun came out in the morning.
And in the meantime Marlow got to see this all as she was flying through the sky on Jupiter's back.
She got quite snuggly up there.
She felt very relaxed.
She felt very safe.
She snuggled down onto Jupiter's back and laid her face next to his neck.
She closed her eyes and started to drift off.
She drifted into another state of relaxation.
A relaxation that was so sweet and inviting.
Her whole body felt so comfortable.
She relaxed deeper and deeper as the moments passed.
Until eventually everything went quiet.
So quiet.
She slept the best that she'd ever slept.

Hi. This was AWESOME. I loved it itโs so relaxing and calming as well as being full of surprises. I do have some questions: 1. Are there any male unicorns in moon bow forest or is there only female. 2. Did Marlowe have some sort of like earrings or necklace that made her come or did her belief in moon bow forest make her come. Thank u Bye
