Transcript

Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Make sure that you're in your bed and you're super comfortable.

Check that the light is just right in your room.

You're wearing your cozy,

Comfy pajamas so that you can relax your body and let go of your busy,

Busy day.

Stephanie was downstairs having dinner.

She'd had a really good day at school.

She'd almost finished her dinner and she didn't have any homework tonight.

She decided she was going to go upstairs and do a few exercises in her bedroom.

Lately she'd been trying to do yoga,

Just some gentle stretches.

She'd watched a couple of short videos on YouTube and she enjoyed it.

It made her feel really relaxed and less stressed.

When she got upstairs,

She put on her sweatpants and a comfortable t-shirt,

Rolled out her yoga mat and sat down on the ground and started to do just a couple of gentle hamstring stretches just to stretch her body.

Being sat down on a chair all day at school isn't really good for your posture.

After about 20 minutes of yoga,

Stephanie got up and went over to her dressing table.

Without even thinking about it,

Not particularly any plans in mind,

Stephanie reached for her jewelry box.

She opened it up and took out her magical earrings.

She stared at herself in the mirror and thought about what was happening at Moonbow Forest right now.

Wonder what everyone's doing?

Since Stephanie didn't have any homework tonight,

It would be the perfect time to go visit.

She put on the left earring first and then the right and then she closed her eyes and took a big deep breath.

By the time she had exhaled,

She could feel the tingles.

She could feel them very strong in her face today.

Her cheeks,

Her jaw,

Especially her nose,

Tingled.

Her nose felt as if she was about to sneeze.

She had a shiver that ran all the way down her spine.

And with her eyes closed,

There in front of her face,

She saw the curtain.

The veil between this world and Moonbow Forest.

That beautiful special veil that she loved so much.

It twinkled and sparkled in the light,

Slightly transparent,

So she could see through it.

She could make out some shapes and shadows on the other side.

Stephanie started to feel tingles even stronger in her fingers and her toes and then throughout her entire body.

She lifted her left hand up and pulled the curtain to one side.

And stepped into Moonbow Forest.

When she opened her eyes,

She looked around and didn't see the normal familiar forest there in front of her.

She looked down at her feet and felt the grass beneath her feet,

Soft and spongy,

Slightly prickly.

The grass felt the same.

She took a big deep breath and inhaled.

She smelt the sweetest smell,

As if the wind was bringing the smell of fresh lemon to her nose.

Just faint,

Very very faint,

But it smelt like her summer's day,

All fresh and clean.

The only thing that Stephanie could see was the most glorious beautiful lemon tree there in front of her face.

The sky was bright blue,

The sun was shining down,

She could hear birds singing.

But there wasn't anything else around,

Everything else was just green grass.

No hills,

No forest,

Nothing,

Just green grass with this one beautiful lemon tree,

Not too far away,

Right there in front of her.

Interesting,

Thought Stephanie,

Wonder where everyone is?

By now Stephanie kind of trusted that wherever she landed in Moonbow Forest it was meant to be.

She never questioned it so much as if to say,

Why am I here?

What's this?

She was always open-minded about the fact that she'd dropped into wherever she was supposed to be.

Sometimes Luna was there and sometimes Luna wasn't there,

Sometimes her other friends were there and then sometimes they weren't.

It was like Moonbow Forest had a special agenda just for Stephanie every time she stepped through the veil between the two worlds and Stephanie had got to the point where she completely trusted the intention of Moonbow Forest.

So that being said,

She started to walk over to the lemon tree.

She could walk underneath the branches,

It was big enough.

The lemons were plentiful,

There must have been hundreds of lemons in the tree,

Big,

Perfect looking lemons.

And as she got closer to the tree,

Underneath the branches,

The smell was absolutely beautiful.

It was much more intense now that she was underneath it.

She reached up and touched one of the lemons.

It felt like a regular lemon,

It wasn't magical in any way or it wasn't a lemon that was made of something else.

It was just a lemon,

It felt exactly like the lemons do back home in her world.

Stephanie decided to slide down the tree and sit to the base of the trunk and relax.

The grass was super soft and comfortable underneath her legs and her bum.

The back of the tree was the perfect back support and the smell was just so dreamy that maybe this was all she needed to do,

She thought.

Maybe I just needed to come here and relax today,

In this special place,

Underneath this very beautiful lemon tree.

Just as she was thinking that the tree was a very beautiful lemon tree,

A lemon fell off the tree.

And as it landed on the ground there in front of her,

It sprouted two little legs.

She instantly thought about the M&M commercials,

You know where they have little legs and they're talking but they're still the shape of an M&M.

It looked like that.

It didn't have hands but it did have legs.

And then its face started to form.

And then she saw eyes and a little nose and a big smiley face.

And the lemon said,

Hi.

And Stephanie said,

Oh,

Hi.

The lemon said,

Welcome to my tree.

Do you like it?

Stephanie said,

Oh,

Yes,

It's really a lovely tree.

You have a very nice tree.

And then another lemon popped down and sprouted little legs and feet and a face and said,

Hi.

Stephanie said,

Oh,

Hi.

And then another and then another and then another and then another and then another and then another and then another and then another.

In total,

She counted them in front of her.

There were nine little lemons,

All with their little legs and their smiley faces,

Staring at Stephanie sitting there underneath their tree.

Oh,

Hi.

Oh,

Hello.

She kept saying every time one popped down from above.

They all kind of moved closer to her and formed a half semicircle,

All standing together in a line.

Welcome to our tree,

One of them said.

Stephanie said,

Oh,

Yeah,

Thanks.

Thanks so much.

Who are you guys?

One of them said,

Well,

We're just lemons.

And then a lemon that was next to that lemon that said we're just lemons said,

No,

We're not just lemons.

We're we're amazing.

Don't say we're just lemons.

And then the lemon next to that lemon said,

Yeah,

Right.

Lemons are so useful.

And then a lemon all the way at the other end said,

Yeah.

I brighten skin.

And then the other lemon next to that lemon all the way on the other end said,

Yeah,

You do.

Stephanie said,

You brighten skin.

A little lemon said,

Yeah,

I do.

If you put me on your skin,

I can help with acne.

I'm really good at brightening dark spots.

And,

You know,

Yeah,

I'm great for skin.

Stephanie said,

Oh,

Wow,

I didn't know that.

And then the little lemon next to that lemon said,

Oh,

Yeah,

I my juice makes your hair go blonde.

Did you know that in the sun?

My juice,

Just my juice makes your hair go blonde in the sun.

Stephanie said,

No,

No way.

The little lemon puffed its chest out as if it was all proud of itself.

Yeah,

Yeah,

Way.

And then the little lemon next to that lemon said.

I can aid with digestion.

Stephanie giggled his voice.

You can,

She said.

The little lemon said,

Yeah,

I'm really good for your tummy.

Stephanie said,

Oh,

Yes,

That's true.

Yeah,

Yeah,

You are.

I've had lemon tea before,

And it made my tummy feel really good when it wasn't feeling very good.

The little lemon looked all pleased with itself,

And then its cheeks got pink.

See,

Exactly.

There was another lemon that shouted all the way from the other end and said,

And I'm really,

Really high in vitamin C.

Again,

Stephanie smiled.

Oh,

Yes,

You are.

Yes,

I do know that already.

Lemons are full of vitamin C,

Which is really good for your immune system,

Right?

The little lemon said,

Exactly.

Stephanie was holding back giggles.

These lemons were so cute.

They were very determined about all their uses.

A lemon from the middle stepped forward and said,

Did you know that I am perfect for cleaning kitchen surfaces?

He sounded very sophisticated,

And she could tell that this one was definitely,

Definitely a little boy or something.

His voice was much deeper.

Stephanie said,

You can?

The little lemon said,

Yes,

No chemicals,

All natural.

I can clean any surface.

Stephanie said,

Wow,

Now that is a talent.

The little lemon that said she could brighten skin said,

Not as talented as me.

And the one that said they could brighten hair said,

Yeah,

Right,

I'd make your hair blonde.

That's much better than cleaning kitchen surfaces.

The little lemon that said that he cleaned kitchen surfaces looked over at the lemon that said that they lightened their hair and said,

How many people need to lighten their hair?

Not that many.

How many people need to clean their kitchen?

Everyone.

So there.

Another little lemon that was a lot smaller than the others stepped forward and said,

I am used in perfume.

Stephanie said,

Oh,

Yes,

Yes.

And you smell so good,

So fresh and clean and vibrant and energizing.

The little lemon had the biggest,

Biggest smile on its face with two really cute dimples on its cheeks.

Thanks,

She said.

I know,

Right?

The lemon that was much,

Much bigger that was stood next to her stepped forward and said,

Well,

I'm air freshener.

I can be air freshener.

Air freshener is more,

I don't know,

You can use it in your car.

You can use it in your house.

You can use it in your toilet.

You can use it in a classroom.

You can use it in a shopping mall.

You can use it anywhere.

Can't use perfume that many places.

The little lemon with dimples said,

No,

But perfume is much more eclectic.

Stephanie was just looking at all the lemons communicating with themselves about all of their different roles.

She was thinking how funny it was that they were all kind of in competition with each other.

Another one of the lemons that stepped forward said,

Well,

You know,

I'm far more superior than all of you because I am used to make lemonade.

And every single person in the entire world and this world and all the other worlds beyond like a lemonade.

So that.

The one that was all about being high in vitamin C said,

Yeah,

But you can't make lemonade without me.

And then all the others agreed that they were needed to make lemonade too,

Because lemons make lemonade,

Right?

You need more than one.

The lemonade lemon said,

Oh,

Yes,

Right.

Good point.

And then finally,

The last little lemon that popped out little legs and a smiley face said,

Well,

I make the bestest lemon meringue pie.

So there.

Stephanie was just smiling at all of them.

All the nine little lemons in front of her was so super cute.

She looked up at the tree above her and saw that there were hundreds and hundreds of lemons in that tree.

She wondered if they all sprouted little legs and faces and had a job and a particular role and a use that they could be in the world just by themselves.

Stephanie announced to the nine little lemons all stood there in front of her with her cute little faces that they were all very,

Very equally important.

And they all had very,

Very equally important roles.

And they were all very,

Very equally appreciated.

The little lemon said,

Well,

I'm going to make a lemonade.

The little lemons all took glances at each other and understood what Stephanie was saying.

Oh,

They all started saying,

Thanks,

Thanks.

Yeah,

We are,

Aren't we?

Yeah,

Yeah,

We're great,

Aren't we?

All of them now looking at each other as if they were a family of lemons,

As if they were a team of lemons,

All with important roles instead of being in competition with each other.

Stephanie could feel the harmony and the difference of the energy coming off the lemons.

They seemed to become a unit,

A little pack,

A little family.

All of a sudden,

Just by her giving them a few praises about being a team and that they were all equal.

Not one lemon was better than the other.

Not one lemon was more important than the other.

They all were very,

Very useful.

Stephanie stayed with the lemons and talked to them for quite some time.

And occasionally,

A different lemon would drop off the tree,

Sprout little legs and a face and freckles and eyelashes and eyes and a nose.

And some of them had dimples and some of them didn't.

Some of them had little freckles and some of them didn't.

Some of them had rosy red cheeks and some of them didn't.

Some of them had lots and lots of teeth and some of them didn't.

The lemons were all different,

But they were super,

Super cute,

All of them.

Without realizing,

Stephanie stayed under the lemon tree with the lemons for about three hours,

Just chatting away.

The smell was so nice and relaxing.

The ground was soft and comfortable.

The day was warm and beautiful,

And it was the perfect visit to Moonbow Forest.

Even though she didn't see Luna and some of her other friends and the unicorns there that live there,

She still had the wonderfulest time.

At one point,

Stephanie noticed that she was starting to get tired.

She closed her eyes down and all the little lemons talking amongst themselves started to fade away into the background.

The tree was comfortable.

Her body felt nice and relaxed.

And in the next moment,

Stephanie found herself back in her bedroom.

She was laying on her bed,

Looking up at the ceiling and watching the fan going round.

She smiled to herself and decided that she would probably never look at lemons the same,

Ever,

Ever again.

The End.

Thank you for watching.
