Heidi Cherry Vaya Tucker & Leo | Dragons #3 - Steel City

This Awesome, Fun Bedtime Story For Kids is about Vaya's magical dragon scale and how it turns them all into dragons. This time they all fly to a place called Steel City. Steel City is Tuckers section of the octagon lands.
These fun stories are created to help children of all ages settle down for a happy nights sleep. Aiding to reduce anxieties, stresses and worries by replacing them with a smile :)

Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

Lie down in your bed and get very,

Very comfortable.

Make sure that everything is just right in your room so that you can relax your body and let go of your busy,

Busy day.

Tucker and Leo had gone over to Heidi,

Cherry and Vea's house.

They'd gone over with the intention of hopefully becoming dragons once again.

Tucker was really excited about it but he didn't understand why.

He had a funny feeling in his tummy.

I don't know,

Leo.

I don't know what it is but I think we should do it.

I think we should definitely go over and talk to Vea and make sure that Vea lets us be dragons today because I can feel it.

I can feel it in my tummy.

There's something going on,

Leo.

He'd been saying that all day on and off until it got to about tea time.

And finally,

Leo had said,

Come on then.

Let's go over.

Let's go see what's happening.

Vea went into the kitchen.

She opened the cupboard where they keep the sugar bowl.

She reached inside,

Rummaged around with her paw and found the white,

Opaque dragon scale.

She grabbed a hold of it and walked into the living room where they were all sat.

Okay,

She said.

Are we ready?

Everyone agreed that they were ready.

Come on,

Said Cherry.

Just get on with it.

Tucker doesn't feel very well.

He's got tummy ache.

No,

Cherry,

It's not tummy ache.

It's just a funny feeling.

Get on with it,

Said Cherry.

Vea rubbed her paw over the white dragon scale back and forwards a couple of times.

And then the next breath,

They were all flying in the sky,

Soaring through the clouds,

High above this other place,

This other world that they seemed to always go when they became dragons.

Intuitively,

Tucker was in the lead.

He was flying faster than everyone else,

Feeling that feeling in his stomach still.

But now the feeling was more intense.

It was stronger,

Like a calling inside of him.

It didn't feel like a tummy ache.

It didn't feel like nervous energy.

It didn't feel like he was going to vomit.

It didn't feel like any of those things.

It just felt like a pulling sensation,

Or a pushing sensation.

Something that made him move.

He needed to move.

He was flying so fast.

These black scales,

Shimmering in the sunlight.

Everyone just followed.

No one asked questions.

Tucker zoomed here,

There,

And everywhere,

Seemingly flying faster and faster and faster.

He was so focused.

Something was pulling his body.

It was pulling it,

But he didn't know where.

They flew like this for about 20 minutes,

Each one of them enjoying it in different ways.

Tucker's experience was just pure drive and focus.

Leo was enjoying the views as they flew over all the different cities and towns and lands down below.

Rhea noticed at one point when they were flying over Dixon Land.

She felt it in her body.

A whole dragon body tingled.

And she recognized the feeling that home was down below.

But that's not where they were going today.

And she knew that.

So she kept following.

Cherry was just miles away,

Enjoying the sensation of being a dragon again.

Flying through the sky,

Having so much power and soar.

She loved being a dragon.

It made her feel the most powerful she ever,

Ever feels.

It made her feel the most confident she'd ever,

Ever,

Ever felt.

She loved it.

Today she was having a hard time keeping up with Tucker.

She could do it,

But something was going on with Tucker.

Something strange.

Heidi noticed that a lot of the world down below was something she didn't recognize.

She did recognize Dixon Land,

But a lot of it she'd not seen yet.

She was intrigued,

Wondering what all the different places were.

And would they be able to get to visit them?

Tucker spotted whatever it was that was driving him forward,

Because he got even faster and started to soar downwards,

As if he was going down to land somewhere.

Leo noticed that where they were heading was dark.

Everything below looked black and gray,

Different tones of grays and silvers.

Some of them lighter,

Most of them dark.

The whole place down below looked dark.

And because it was dark,

It gave it a sense of mystery,

A little bit scary,

Leo thought.

He wasn't scared.

He was a dragon.

But he felt that energy.

He felt a shift as they flew closer and closer to this dark city down below.

Most of the city consisted of high-rise buildings.

There was lots of flat,

Square,

Roofed buildings down below that looked like big warehouses or something.

It looked very industrial,

Dark,

Dingy,

Dusty.

It also looked very abandoned.

Leo didn't see anybody or any animals or anything moving around down there.

It just looked stark and cold.

Not really a very nice-looking place.

Heidi shuddered a little bit when she started to fly into the air zone of this dark city down below.

She got a shiver that ran all the way down her dragon spine,

Almost like a warning or something.

That's what it felt like.

Tucker seemed to know exactly where he was going.

He wasn't speaking to any of the dragons.

He wasn't motioning,

Shouting.

He wasn't doing anything.

He was just on a mission.

Cherry noticed that there was a big open area in the middle of the city.

Something that would look like a giant park in a regular place.

But the only thing that was in this opening,

This giant open space,

Was what looked like a big,

Black,

Round stone on the ground.

That's where Tucker was heading.

Tucker landed on the ground next to the big,

Black stone.

The stone was about as big as a football pitch.

It seemed to shine and shimmer.

It looked solid,

But it also had the glassy appearance of the top of a lake.

All dark and murky down below.

Tucker turned around to everyone as they landed behind him.

This is Steel City,

Tucker said.

Here,

Tucker didn't sound like his friendly,

Goofy self.

As a dragon,

In this space,

He sounded so serious and solemn.

So manly and kind of grown up.

He felt different.

Leo,

Faye,

Heidi,

Cherry,

All felt it.

He felt like he had a purpose.

He wasn't there to play.

He wasn't there to just goof around and explore.

He was there for something very serious.

Cherry spotted something moving across the stone,

Quite far away.

It looked like a tall person.

And then she spotted another,

And another,

And another.

The tall people seemed to be coming out of all of the buildings.

As if they were all on a mission.

They were all hearing something or feeling something that Cherry,

Faye,

Heidi,

And Leo didn't feel.

Cherry wondered if these people even saw them.

They didn't seem to notice.

But they were all heading to the stone.

As if bells had been ringing for church on a Sunday,

And everyone knew it was time for church.

But they didn't hear any bells,

And they didn't see any signs.

It was like this unspoken energy that was happening here in Steel City.

At a certain time,

Everyone comes out to go to the stone.

It wasn't too long before Cherry noticed these people coming up behind her,

And then passing her to get to the stone.

The people were tall.

They had black eyes,

Just like Tookus.

Their eyes were made of onyx,

The crystal.

The crystal that grounds and protects.

They all didn't have any emotion on their face.

Their eyes seemed to take it all away.

They were just black,

Like the night sky,

And it looked like you were peering into holes that went on for miles and miles and miles.

None of the people smiled or anything.

It was like they were robots.

Faye didn't like it.

She didn't like the place at all.

It was so different from Dixonland.

It felt different.

Tooker seemed to go into a robotic state,

Just like the people.

His presence was almost like watching a king in action.

He started to strut to the middle of the stone,

His big,

Giant dragon steps,

Moving with so much determination and power and force as he moved across the giant onyx stone.

He stood in the center,

And then he blew out and growled the biggest stream of fire out of his mouth.

And the people came,

More people came,

And they all looked the same.

They were all grey.

They had grey flesh,

With black eyes and black hair,

And they were all so very tall,

At least seven or eight feet tall.

They all wore grey clothing.

The buildings were grey,

The sky was grey.

Everything looked like steel.

All along there were hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of these people,

All making a circle around Tooker in the center.

Tooker once again blew out fire,

And all of the people got down onto their knees and bowed.

They bowed down and placed their heads on the stone,

Bowed down in front of Tooker.

The stone seemed to wake up.

It shimmered.

The black emptiness of the stone was replaced by this rippling,

Moving energy underneath the surface.

All of the people seemed to be waking up the stone,

Especially Tooker.

Tooker motioned for Heidi and Cherry,

Veya and Leo to get onto the stone also.

So they did.

Tooker's friends got onto the stone.

Instantly,

They felt a charge shoot up the base of their dragon feet.

It felt like electricity.

It didn't hurt,

But it was powerful.

The strongest buzzing vibration feeling shot into their entire bodies.

This must be what they're all feeling,

Thought Heidi.

It felt like her whole body was being charged with energy.

Grounded.

That's it,

She thought.

This is a grounding stone.

Everyone is feeling the grounding sensation from the stone.

Everyone gets grounded here,

And the grounding is what keeps them focused and stable.

It's what keeps them energized and strong and healthy.

Amazing,

Thought Heidi.

This is amazing.

After a few minutes,

The people all got back onto their feet and started to disperse back into the city.

Tooker stayed in the center.

When everyone had got off the stone,

Except the dragons,

His friends joined him in the center of the stone.

Heidi said,

Was this a grounding?

Tooker smiled and said,

Yes.

It happens every day at this time.

Cherry said,

What is this place?

Tooker said,

This is Steel City.

Everything that is in all of the different lands that's made of any kind of metal or precious gold or silver,

Any brass,

Copper,

Bronze,

Any metal,

Especially steel,

Is made here in Steel City.

And it's forged by these people.

They forge it into swords,

Armor,

Different types of weapons.

They also forge it into jewelry,

Crowns,

Cuffs,

Forks,

Knives,

Spoons,

Plates,

Goblets.

Anything that could be made from steel is made here.

And it's used and divided through all of the eight lands of the Octagon.

Wow,

Said Cherry.

OMG.

Tooker bowed his head as if to say,

Yes,

Exactly.

Fea said,

I assume that this is your place,

Tooker.

Tooker said,

Yes.

That's why I was feeling that feeling in my stomach all day.

This place was calling to me.

It's almost ceremonial,

What happens here every day.

And it's very important for the people of this land.

They need it.

They survive off the ground in energy.

They're protected by it.

Just like what my eyes do.

They ground and protect.

Oh,

Said Fea.

That's so special.

Tooker nodded.

We can leave now,

Said Tooker.

My work is done here.

And just like that,

Tooker pushed off and flew up towards the sky.

Once again,

With all the power and drive he could possibly drum up.

Pushing him forward,

But this time towards home.

Cherry pushed off and flew up.

So did Heidi,

Fea and Leo.

And they all flew once again behind Tooker in the sky.

They zipped in and out of the clouds.

Around some of them.

Burst through the center of some of them.

Flying up closer to the sun.

Feeling the warmth on the dragon scales.

Allowing it to warm their cold blood.

And then flying down lower and lower and lower.

And lower.

Until they found themselves all the way back.

In the living room.

At the cat's house.

Once again.

The end.

I fell asleep so fast! It has helped me feel better because I can finally get to sleep and I have been battling a sickness for 3 weeks! (Ever since pneumonia got me I haven’t fully recovered and am an easy target) Anyway, I can’t wait to listen to the next one tonight.

I’m just found out that I’m sick with a fever 101.4 farenheit ): and I think I have strep but I don’t know if I have strep throat because my parents haven’t said that I have strep throat

Amazing! I love the new series! But let me get this straight, Tucker was actually being serious?🧐That’s something I thought I would never see! When is the next humans/ dragons coming? Also just a heads up it’s my moms b day today! I’m gonna get her a late present when we get home because we are on a three week long road trip! Yaaay! We’re going kiaking tomorrow! Wish me luck!

If i was a dragon I would have Lavender scales (its my fav color and my friend said that it was rare for dragons but imma search that up he (yah I have a friend that's a boy) also said that if ur a Lavender dragon u r the Princess and if u have rubie scales u r the prince) idk wat corler their scales are so plese tell me and mabe they are the prince or princess.
