Let's get really really still and quiet in our beds so that you can completely relax your little body and let go of your busy busy day.
You've probably been running and playing and jumping and laughing.
It's time to be still and quiet like a tiny little mouse.
Heidi,
Cherry and Vea were not being still and quiet.
They had invited one of their bestest little buddies,
Gracie.
It was going to be her birthday soon and they thought it would be extra extra extra special if she went on an adventure with them.
Now all the cats knew that Gracie liked bunny rabbits.
I mean Gracie had three very special stuffy bunnies.
She had Bunny,
She had Nyla and she had Poppy.
So I mean it was pretty obvious that she loved bunnies.
The cats had heard at this place where you could go that was a field in the middle of nowhere that had a very special intriguing rock.
Cherry had wanted to go to this particular rock for a very very long time and it had never happened before until now.
Everything had fell into place and it was like as if the universe was on everyone's side and they all wanted Gracie and the cats to go to this very special rock.
Gracie was walking through the field with the cats.
Cherry said,
Now I know I know Gracie I know you might think that this is a little bit silly because you know you say,
Gracie it's going to be your birthday soon and I've got this really special present for you,
A rock.
Yeah I know it's not that great you say,
But you know you wait till you see this rock Gracie you wait till you see this rock.
I'm not going to tell you anything about it right Heidi right Heidi right there right there keep it shhh shhh quiet quiet quiet don't say anything because we want it to be this bestest bestest surprise in the entire world.
And you know I've heard lots of things about this rock and Heidi has even read a book about this rock it's that famous and you know it's going to be like breathtaking it's going to be so good and I have a feeling that everyone that told me about this rock has had some very weird experiences with this rock because they told me about the weird experiences that's why I know they had weird experiences with this rock but anyway yeah it's supposed to be mythical it's supposed to be magical it's supposed to be like all sorts of stuff so are you ready for it?
Gracie said I trust you and I'm ready Faya said Heidi said that there's so many awesome things about this rock and it's not just a normal rock apparently in history it has some some very interesting things that's happened connected to this rock but I can't tell you because that would spoil the surprise Gracie so just hold our paws we'll walk together and then you'll see Heidi said it's going to be wonderful you wait and see Gracie it's going to be the bestest bestest bestest birthday present you've ever had Gracie was very excited and a little bit nervous and a little bit intrigued she was all these different feelings at the same time the nervous feeling in her tummy felt like uncomfortable butterflies not happy butterflies and then the happy excited part of her felt like happy butterflies and that was more in her heart like flutters and like a giddy kind of feeling and then there was a part of her that felt a little bit apprehensive and that felt very similar to when she was nervous sometimes Gracie would get nervous if she was around new people or new situations and she would get a little bit shy it felt a bit like that but not exactly the same because she loved Heidi,
Cherry and Veya and she knew that she was safe with them and she could be herself with them but she was still a little bit apprehensive about what was coming what was this rock?
She thought they finally got to a bunch of very big rocks they just looked like rocks Gracie wasn't sure whether she was supposed to pretend that they were amazing looking rocks or whether she was just maybe at the beginning of her surprise and this wasn't quite the surprise Cherry said,
I can hear your thoughts Gracie this is not your surprise don't worry this is just a bunch of big rocks that's letting us know that we're almost at the very special rock that we're going to go see I saw you,
I felt you,
I was looking at your face and I thought she thinks this is her birthday present no Gracie it's not,
No no,
We're almost there though,
We're almost there they walked through what looked like maybe five or six very big rocks that were in some kind of circle like at one point it would have been some magical place in history just in itself but if she was honest Gracie didn't really think very much about these big rocks and then when they got to the other side of the rocks she saw it she saw what she knew was probably her birthday present and oh how it was perfect Gracie was standing looking very high,
Very high at the biggest,
Roundest,
Cutest looking rock that looked just like a bunny I mean this bunny rabbit rock had ears,
It had a fluffy bunny tail,
It had everything in the shape of a bunny that would be a bunny but it wasn't a bunny,
It was a rock wow said Gracie,
This is a big rock now Gracie was only little,
This rock was enormous Cherry,
Heidi and Vea all stood there with their mouths wide open OMG,
Oh my goodness gracious me said Cherry it's everything I thought it was going to be,
It's absolutely amazing,
Look at it and look at this part Gracie,
Look she walked round the back of the rock and there was the big fluffy bunny tail as if it was a tail but it wasn't,
It was like a smaller rock stuck on the back end of the big rock which looked just like a bunny tail this is just amazing Gracie but guess what,
Guess what,
Heidi tell her,
Heidi,
Heidi tell her Heidi said this is where the magic comes in Gracie I have been reading in my book that if you love bunny rabbits which we know you do especially and we like bunny rabbits I mean we love chocolate shops,
We love all the bunnies that we've met before if you love bunny rabbits and you lean your back against this rock and close your eyes you may find yourself in a place called the bunny empire Gracie's mouth dropped open and her eyes got really big are you kidding?
She said to Heidi Heidi said no Gracie,
This is what the book said,
Happens this is what all the mythology about this rock says this is what the magic is Gracie,
This is your birthday present do you want to go on an adventure with us to the bunny empire?
Gracie said will we be able to get back?
Heidi said yes,
To get back you just face the rock and lean against it and that's supposed to bring you back Gracie said let's do it Heidi,
Cherry,
Vea and Gracie all held paws and hands and leant their backs against the rock and closed their eyes all at the same time Cherry could feel a tingle in her paws I can feel a tingle in me paws Vea felt it me too Heidi said me too Gracie said everything in my body is tingling Cherry said OMG she had her eyes open,
She looked around they had definitely gone somewhere open your eyes guys,
Open your eyes everyone opened their eyes the place looked like something out of a book the grass was super super green the sky was super super blue it was like all the different colours of the rainbow were intensified 10 million billion trillion times everything was really really bright and happy looking it was like stepping into a paint shop where the whole world had been painted in the brightest,
Cleanest,
Freshest looking colours it's amazing said Cherry Gracie didn't say anything,
She was just staring at everything all around what was catching Gracie's eye was the fact that there must have been hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of bunnies jumping all over the place she twitched her nose and then scratched her nose and realised her hand wasn't her hand anymore it was a bunny paw she looked at Cherry,
Cherry was a bunny she looked at Heidi,
Heidi was a bunny she looked at Vea,
Vea was the cutest white fluffy bunny OMG said Gracie,
Were bunnies?
The cats looked down at themselves and saw fluff and fur that was not cat fur Cherry said oh I don't believe it,
Oh I don't believe it and all of a sudden she started patting the ground with one of her bunny rabbit paws pat pat pat pat pat pat pat pat pat pat oh no,
No guess what?
She started laughing this is what you do when you're excited when you're a bunny she was patting both her paws on the ground pat pat pat pat pat everyone started patting their paws pat pat pat pat pat all the bunnies,
The hundreds of tiny little cute fluffy bunnies all around in the bunny empire all started patting their feet pat pat pat pat pat they were all super excited they were communicating with the pats on the ground Cherry patted twice pat pat that means pay attention that means pay attention she said oh my goodness we can talk with us paws we can like we can pat on the ground and talk with us paws I never knew that that's what bunny rabbits were doing now we know how to talk to each other as bunny rabbits Gracie patted her feet down both of them her front paws twice look at me she said everyone looked at her I knew what you were saying said Cherry I knew exactly what you were saying you were saying look at me this is amazing do you know what I want?
I want a carrot how ridiculous is that?
Heidi said I could eat a carrot Faea said me too Gracie said I want lots of carrots let's go hunting for carrots then all of a sudden all of the hundreds of bunnies around them came closer and closer and closer so they were surrounded by hundreds of bunnies all different colors grey ones,
White ones there were brown ones with patches there were black ones with stripes and dots there were so many different bunny colors and different bunnies Gracie said I think I'm in heaven this is the bestest place in the world I think I love bunny empire I like being a bunny I feel really good being a bunny look at all these bunnies Gracie got super excited and ran in the middle of the bunnies all of a sudden she felt very easy and comfortable making all these new friends whereas when Gracie's a little girl sometimes she has a hard time making friends because she gets a little bit conscious and a little bit nervous and then all of a sudden it feels a little bit uncomfortable but as a bunny my goodness me Gracie was in the middle of the bunnies playing,
Patting her feet jumping up in the air and hopping all over the place and all the bunnies around her were hopping and playing with her and rubbing noses on each other it was so much fun and so cute and it was like she was meant to be a bunny Gracie was thinking to herself I knew I was supposed to be a bunny rabbit that must be why I like bunnies so much Cherry said don't you make the perfect bunny look at you,
You're so cute Gracie was a very cute bunny her little pink nose kept twitching all over the place and her whiskers were blowing in the wind she was rubbing her little nose on new bunny rabbit friends and the whiskers were twinkling and twitching and intertwining with each other as if they were getting to know each other really well she was so brave and so confident and comfortable here in the bunny empire I have so many friends said Gracie all of her new friends led Heidi,
Cherry and Veya as bunnies to the dreamland it was a carrot field a carrot field guys a carrot field filled with hundreds and hundreds of crunchy big orange fresh juicy juicy carrots they nibbled and nibbled and chomped and chomped and nibbled and nibbled and crunched and crunched I like having bunny rabbit teeth,
They're so powerful said Cherry Heidi was covered in orange juice all over her face Veya was a white bunny rabbit that was very fluffy with big blue bunny rabbit eyes just like she is when she's a cat and her face was now orange because of all the carrot juice it was the bestest carrots in the entire world that's what they all agreed on I never thought that this could be my birthday present but this is unbelievable thank you so much she said to her friends who were now bunnies hopping all over the carrot field munching carrot after carrot after carrot after carrot after carrot Gracie and the cats and all the bunnies had so much fun at the bunny empire they did things that bunnies liked to do they ate carrots they hopped around they communicated by patting their paws on the ground thumping the earth and talking to each other and they could still talk to each other as well if they wanted to they tested their bunny rabbit teeth Cherry tested it on wood,
On grass on a rock that didn't quite go so well they can't eat rocks but they can eat everything else they had the bestest time eventually all the bunny rabbits seemed to get tired at the same time Gracie's eyes started to get heavy and sleepy she patted her feet on the ground twice and everyone paid attention I think I'd like to go home I'm tired she said I'd like to go see my mum I wish my mum could be a bunny rabbit Gracie said they went back to the rabbit rock the ginormous rabbit rock they all faced the rock and leaned forward and found themselves back in the field where they originally started their journey they all slumped down on the ground the tummies were full of carrots but they were cats again and Gracie was back to being a girl and the world was good they went home they brushed off their teeth hopped into bed and as they hopped into bed each one of them smiled remembering their bestest day ever didn't take very long at all for them to fall to sleep all of their muscles were heavy and sleepy their bones were super super heavy and sleepy Gracie couldn't keep her eyes open anymore she closed her eyes drifted off into the sweetest dreams about being a bunny and how this was the bestest birthday she'd ever ever had the end did you like it?
