Heidi, Cherry & Vaya Save Christmas - Children's Meditation Story

Heidi, Cherry, and Vaya help Santa. The reindeers are sick, they all have the flu from not washing their hands during the cold season. Santa has to tell the cats his big secret on how he gets the reindeers to fly his sled (they eat beans which makes them have magical toots).

This is a fun, silly story that will have your child laughing then sleeping.

Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

Make sure that you're laying down and you're comfortable.

This might be difficult because I know it's getting super exciting at the moment.

Celebrating the holidays no matter what holiday you celebrate can get very exciting.

But try really really hard to lay still and quiet and listen to the story and then really really try and relax at the end.

And that way whatever it is that you celebrate will come quicker I promise.

Okay.

Heidi,

Cherry and Veja needed to help Santa.

Santa had a problem.

His reindeers were all sick.

They had the flu each and every one of them.

Sick.

Coughing,

Runny noses,

Shivers.

They didn't feel good at all.

They had a headache.

They had a temperature.

They were really really sick.

How was Santa supposed to fly?

He slid all around the world to deliver presents to all of the girls and boys and mums and dads if they were lucky with no reindeers.

The problem was the reindeers had not been washing their hands or their hooves I should say.

This time of year it's so important to wash your hands,

Your hooves,

Your paws,

Whatever it is that you have.

Otherwise you could catch a cold because everybody seems to be sick right?

Well the reindeers didn't wash their hooves and they got flu.

Luckily for Santa he was very close friends with Heidi,

Cherry and Veja.

Cherry had an idea.

Oh gee that's awful Santa.

Oh my goodness what are you going to do?

She said.

How are we going to deliver presents to everyone out there in the world if you don't have your flying reindeers to help you magically do it all in one night?

Oh my goodness.

Oh my goodness.

I have an idea.

Oh my oh my oh my oh my.

I think that this is like my bestest bestest bestest everest bestest idea that I've ever ever ever ever ever had.

Do you want to hear it?

Yeah said Santa because I don't have any idea what I'm going to do to get out of this predicament.

Cherry said.

We have lots of friends don't we Heidi?

Heidi said yes we do.

Veja said me have lots of friends,

Me have lots of princess friends,

Me have lots of friends that like br- Oh stop it Veja.

Not right now okay.

Listen this is this is like an emergency.

Like a real life emergency.

Like a real life Christmas emergency.

Listen listen.

People's happiness is depending on my awesomeness' idea.

Alright listen.

And my idea is this.

That we gather round all our friends,

All our cat sisters,

All our cat brothers,

All our cat like uh uncles,

All our cats uh aunties,

All our cat uh orphan friends,

All our cat friends from the cat clubs,

All our- Oh we could even maybe risk it and have some of the dogs help us too from the dog club.

That might be good unless the dogs want to eat the cats and that's not so good.

No.

I think we'll just do cats.

Yeah we'll do cats uh because we have lots and lots of cats friends.

Heidi said yes we do actually.

You're right we do have a lot of cat friends.

What are you thinking?

Well I'm thinking that we can call around and we can have everyone come here right now tonight if possible.

They can fly,

They can get on boats,

They can get on trains,

They can do buses,

They can do whatever they need to do to get here tonight.

Right Santa?

Santa said I'm listening,

Keep going.

And then said Cherry,

When they all get here we can we can have them fly.

We can have them fly.

Your um your Santa thing what's it called um oh that's it your Santa sleigh.

We can have them all fly uh your Santa sleigh because there'll be that many of them that that we can all do it together.

Don't you think that that's like the bestest,

Awesomest idea you've ever ever ever ever had?

Said Cherry.

Oh me thinks that's really really awesome said Faea.

I think it's a good idea too said Heidi but there's a problem.

Cats can't fly.

Cats are not reindeers.

We don't fly Cherry.

Oh hmm right said Cherry.

Well reindeers don't normally fly do they?

I mean there's got to be some kind of magic involved.

What do you do Santa?

What do you do to help the reindeers to fly on Christmas because when you see reindeers in the snow doing their normal thing they never fly.

So it must just be your reindeers that fly.

So if it's your reindeers that have magical powers that can fly all around the world in one night then surely you can share that magical secret with us because we're your bestest bestest friends and I can't think that you can think that you have another idea.

Santa thought about it.

He scratched his white fluffy beard.

He scratched his head through his red hat covered in white fur.

His nose was bright red and shiny from being out in the snow and the cold.

He looked all chubby and round and cute and cuddly just like he always did and then he had a big soft gentle smile that made every boy and girl even the adults like his face.

He thought about it and thought about it.

Cherry was crossing her legs.

She was so excited.

Will you hurry up and say it?

Say your secret because I think I'm going to pee myself if you don't tell me soon.

Santa said well the secret is this but you can't tell anyone.

You have to not ever share it with anyone except all the cats that are going to be involved of course.

They'll have to know but anyone else you can't tell them otherwise you could ruin the Christmas spirit.

You could ruin the holiday spirit meaning you could take away all the magic if you told people how I make the reindeers fly.

Okay okay I promise.

Veya said me promise me promise me keeps really good secret Santa me keeps really good secret Santa me promise me not tell anyone not even princesses.

Heidi said I cross my heart and I swear I won't tell anyone.

The cats listened the little ears perked up very excited all three of them.

Okay this is how I do it but I'm not going to tell you until all the cats are here oh said Cherry that's awful I really really almost did pee myself I was so excited.

Do you really really have to make us wait that long?

Well there's no point in telling you said Santa if the cats don't come we have to have at least a hundred of your friends before you'll have enough magic enough Christmas spirit to make my sleigh fly so let's just get the cats here first.

Oh said Cherry all right then all right let's get calling girls.

So Heidi Cherry and Veya all went off to go make their calls hundreds of calls they called Billy Tommy Susie Harry Henry they called Lenora they called Chili they called Peppers they called Ginger they called Sally they called oh I can't think of any more names but they called every single cat friend that they possibly had.

They made calls for hours and hours and hours but magically somehow all the cats came.

Later that night Santa and everyone gathered up on the front garden there was a lot of cats somehow he managed to get all of their attention they all stopped meowing and chatting and catching up with each other some of them had not seen each other for a very long time so it was like a cat reunion.

He told them the secret the secret is you all have to eat beans the cats all stayed silent started to look at each other as if to say what is Santa serious beans a few cats put their paws up to ask questions what kind of beans said one cat Santa said any kind of bean any kind of bean that makes you happy your favorite kind of bean another cat put its paw up what if I don't like beans well then if you don't like beans you can't be one of my special helpers tonight you have to like beans there was lots of noise going through the crowd of cats and by the time everybody discussed whether they liked beans or not they'd lost at least 40 cats but luckily there was about two three hundred cats there everyone had come to help now Santa was facing everyone that liked beans he told them the next part of the secret this is very top secret you do not ever tell anyone Cherry was beside herself with excitement she literally was almost peeing herself again she got her back legs crossed while she listened and then Santa said it beans sometimes make you toot the reindeers use their magical bean toots to fly that's how we do it cherry started laughing really really loud no she said no you're kidding Santa that's not Santa that's not are you serious that's what we have to do we have to eat beans and toot and then when we toot it's a magical toot and and that makes us fly are you serious very sad oh oh me so excited me likes tooting oh this means I can toot and not feel silly for tooting it means I can toot and it's a magical toot and it actually has a purpose my magical toots will have a purpose I can toot and fly how awesome is that said fair Heidi didn't really believe it but she was willing to give it a try anything to help Santa this was a very important night you needed to get all the presents out all around the world cherry said wow that's a lot of tooting that's like really really far like really really far that we have to fly how many beans do we have to eat Santa Santa started laughing don't you worry about how many beans or how you'll fly the magic just happens trust me everyone get your beans everyone eat your beans and everyone get lined up ready we'll do all the buckles all the bows all the straps we'll get you connected to the sled and we'll be on our way so everybody did what Santa said they ate their beans they all got lined up they lined up in lines of five cats and then the five cats got behind another cat got behind another cat got behind another cat on and on and on and on until there was about 250 cats all lined up ready to pull Santa's sleigh even more impressive was they were ready to do magical Christmas toots to help Santa fly his sled all around the world so he could deliver his presents but like I said this was a secret no one knew about it no one was ever going to know about it so if you're listening to this story don't tell anyone don't tell anyone that that's how the reindeers fly because they eat magical beans that makes them toot and then that lifts them off the ground and they fly all around the world and help Santa deliver his presents now now how cool is that the cats did a really good job at helping Santa it was one of the funnest most amazing most exciting things that all of them had ever done before and it was for a good cause they were helping Santa do the most important thing for the people that believed in Christmas that was the end do You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You
