Take a nice big deep breath and sigh it out and let go of your busy day.
Heidi,
Cherry and Veya were in their bedroom.
Veya was wearing the most amazing,
Most beautiful rainbow princess dress.
She looked like a fairy and a unicorn and a princess all in one.
Cherry said,
Oh Veya,
That dress is so nice.
It's so nice.
OMG,
I'm like looking at you thinking,
What does she remind me of?
Does she remind me of an angel?
Does she remind me of a fairy?
Does she remind me of like a galloping white unicorn flying through the sky?
I'm like,
You just look so,
So nice and calming.
It's very calming even though there's so many colours.
It's like white but it's glittery rainbow colours mixed in with it.
It's so nice.
Veya said,
Thank you.
Yes,
It's my new favourite dress.
And because I'm wearing my new favourite dress,
I have a special present for you both.
Heidi said,
Oh,
That sounds nice.
What is it?
Veya said,
Me has been practising,
Learning all about my chakras.
Oh,
Said Cherry,
Oh,
I like chakras.
I like chakras.
They're so fascinating.
I mean,
I thought chakras when I first heard of them were like these.
I know you've got lots of chakras and everything because I've listened to Kori's meditations before and she says that you actually have hundreds and hundreds of energy centres in your body.
You don't just have like the seven main chakras,
You know,
You have so many.
And I was like,
Wow,
I'm like a pin cushion.
I've got so many different points that you could poke at me and I'd be like,
Oh,
This is this chakra.
Oh,
This is this chakra.
And at first I remember,
I thought this was so funny.
I remember thinking that chakras were like certain like physical buttons in your body that you could press,
You know,
Like your belly button or your nipples or something like that.
But it's not.
No,
I didn't realise that chakras were like just like energy centres,
Right?
Heidi said,
Yes,
Right.
They're like,
Oh,
I remember one time Kori said that they were thought attractors.
Like spinning discs,
Spinning wheels inside of your body that are energy centres that attract different types of thoughts that make you feel different ways.
I didn't know that,
Said Cherry.
Freya said,
Hmm,
Yeah,
Me just read about that too.
So I wanted to do a meditation for you guys that touches on the seven main chakras that makes you feel a certain way when you think about each chakra.
Cherry said,
Oh,
I like it.
I like it.
I've had such a busy day.
I've been working so hard,
Playing so hard,
Laughing so hard.
At one point I watched a sad movie and I cried so hard.
Everything's been so hard today.
So I'm really excited about being able to chill out.
Cherry laid down like a starfish on her big,
Soft,
Comfortable bed.
Then she realised she took most of the bed.
So she moved over a little bit and let Heidi lay down.
Veya sat crisscross.
She looked so picturesque in her rainbow dress.
So beautiful.
She told everyone to get super comfy so they wouldn't be wiggling and squiggling and moving and making noises.
Get out all your coughs,
All your sneezes.
And then when eventually Cherry and Heidi settled down and laid very still in dead man's pose in Savasana.
Then she began,
Please close your eyes.
Let go of everything in your world.
Start to slow down your breathing.
Make your breathing sound like the waves of the ocean.
Imagine your breath is like a big wave rolling into your body.
And when you breathe out,
It feels like a big wave blowing out of your body.
Coming in and going out.
Keep breathing like the waves of the ocean.
Imagine that you're staring up at the sky.
You could even imagine that you're laying on the beach.
And you can hear the ocean in your breath.
There's absolutely nothing in the sky.
It's just blue and clear and calm.
Imagine there's a breeze blowing gently off the ocean.
And you can feel it in your fur all over your body.
Cherry started to giggle just a little bit.
It feels nice,
Said Cherry.
Heidi just stayed very,
Very still.
Veya carried on.
Now imagine that you're staring at the sky and you start to see the biggest,
Prettiest,
Most beautiful rainbow.
And the first color you notice is the red in the rainbow.
Imagine that the beam of red coming from the rainbow is connecting right down at the bottom of your spine.
And the color is shining into your root chakra,
Your first chakra,
Right there at the bottom of the spine.
And it's red,
Brilliant,
Beautiful red.
And your body starts to absorb all of this red energy.
And the red energy makes you feel so safe.
It's calming and you feel safe and snuggly inside.
All is well in the world because you're so safe and protected.
Just feel the red vibration in your body and let yourself relax with it.
Imagine you can see the red light shining from the base of your spine,
Like a big,
Giant slide of light going up into the sky into the rainbow,
As if you're part of the rainbow.
Now see the color orange beaming down from the sky and imagine that the orange color is in the lower part of your tummy and it's bright fiery orange.
And when you look down at your tummy,
The light is shining out of your tummy,
Bursting up into the sky and joining into the rainbow.
The orange light brings with it the feeling of feeling so good.
Everything just feels so good.
The beach feels comfortable.
The waves sound so good.
The breeze in your fur is pleasurable.
Everything feels good.
It's perfect.
Let that orange feeling vibrate throughout all of your body and you feel so good inside.
Next is yellow.
Imagine you have a beam of yellow light shining out at the top of your tummy,
Like a big,
Giant slide sliding up into the sky and joining into the rainbow.
It's so bright,
Like the brightest sunshine you've ever seen.
And with this yellow light comes the feeling of feeling awesome.
Say to yourself in your mind,
I am awesome.
I am so awesome.
I'm awesome just the way I am.
And let the yellow light magically flow through your body all the way to the tips of your fingers and the tips of your toes.
So you feel awesome in every single cell.
Now you see a green light coming out of the middle of your heart.
The green light's coming into your heart but it's also coming out of your heart.
Big giant slide of green light bursts up into the sky and joins the beautiful rainbow.
This green light makes you feel nothing but love.
I am so loved.
I am so loved.
I love so many things.
I am love.
Let your whole body tingle with the green light.
Let your whole body tingle with love.
Veya was doing such a good job.
It looked like the cats were just not moving,
Not twitching.
They were so deep in meditation,
So relaxed.
She carried on.
Now you see a blue light coming out of your throat,
Shining up into the sky and joining with the rainbow.
The blue light carries feelings of being comfortable talking,
Comfortable saying whatever you want,
Feeling confident with what you say and how you speak.
The blue light helps you to feel good about speaking your truth.
Let the magical blue light tingle throughout your entire body,
Making you feel so comfortable and confident with the things you say.
Now you see an indigo light shining down from the sky into the middle of your forehead.
You see the indigo light shining out of your forehead like a big giant sliding light up joining into the rainbow.
The indigo light allows you to see so clearly.
You see through things.
You see the truth in things.
You see things so clearly.
I see you is what the blue light,
The indigo light brings to you.
I see you.
Allow that indigo light to tingle and travel throughout your whole body,
All the way down to your toes.
And now you see the final light,
A beautiful,
Delicate,
Violet light shining out of the top of your head,
Beaming up to the sky,
Joining the rainbow.
The violet light carries the energy of you feeling so connected to everything in the world,
Connected to other beings,
Connected to other animals,
Connected to the stars,
The sky,
The ocean,
The trees.
You're so connected.
Everything is a part of you and you are a part of everything.
Let the violet light let you see how connected you are to the world.
Let it tingle all over your body.
Now that you have the colors of the rainbow and all of the feelings and all of the energy and now that you are a rainbow yourself,
Just like my beautiful dress,
You can go to sleep knowing that you're complete and whole and perfect just the way you are.
