The heart chakra vibrates with love and is blocked by grief. An open heart center means we can experience more of the joys that are present to us here on earth. Let me guide you through this healing meditation so you can unlock the heart, release the grief and love fully once again.

Hi,

This is Kori.

For this meditation,

Let's see if we can let go of some grief so that your heart and your heart center can completely open to receive all that is good in this world.

Make sure that you are sat in a comfortable position or you're laid down ready to end your day.

Check in with your body and make sure everything feels right so that you know that you're not going to be disturbed or distracted by your physical body.

And when you're all comfortable,

Settle into complete stillness if possible.

Close off the eyes if you haven't done so already and allow yourself to just take a big deep breath in first of all as if you're clearing your space,

You're clearing the inside,

You're clearing the outside energy around you with that big deep inhale all the way down to the base of your abdomen.

And then when you exhale,

See if you can release with a sigh or just a loud exhale noise as if the sound itself is proof that you're letting go.

You're allowing your energy and your mind to have a restart button into meditation.

If you didn't get that feeling with the first breath,

Take another big deep breath in all the way down to the base of your abdomen and then release out of your mouth with a big sigh.

Let your shoulders fall dramatically.

And then if you got it that time,

That feeling of release,

Allow your breath to just resume back into a comfortable even pace.

Make sure that your flow of breath is even on the way in and even on the way out,

Slowing your breath down.

This tells your mind to start to slow down.

It sends signals to the brain that you're calm and relaxed and your body responds with softening.

Soften any tension that you might have in your face and your jaw.

Start to direct your breath now into the center of your chest.

So mindfully and purposely direct the flow of breathing right there in your heart chakra.

And if you're not familiar with where your heart chakra is,

It's in the center of your chest,

Directly next to your physical heart.

So pull your breath into that space and in your mind's eye,

Start to see your breath circulating around your physical heart,

Your heart center,

The lungs,

The ribs.

Be aware of the sensations that you're starting to feel in that part of your body.

Listen and feel.

See if you can use the power of your mind to start to slow your heartbeat down.

Imagine your heart is becoming more peaceful with every breath,

Calmer with every breath and it's obeying your thoughts and listening,

Slowing down just a little bit.

Shift your awareness over to that dip right there in the center of your chest.

Imagine in your mind it's like a cave or a well,

A dwelling,

A place between something else and see if you can sit in that space.

When you focus in,

It is palpable.

You can feel it.

You can feel almost like a ball of something,

A ball of energy,

A ball of light,

A ball that creates this space that I'm talking about.

See if you can sit in that space as if you're a miniature Buddha sitting under the tree contemplating your back straight,

Your legs crossed,

Your eyes closed.

See yourself there in the center of your chest,

In your heart chakra.

You're surrounded by this green emerald light.

These hazes and streams of the softest,

Gentlest pink light coming through.

But the green light is rich and full as if you're sat in the forest or in the jungle.

And you can feel the light on your skin due in the morning on trees.

The light feels loving and kind,

Like you're completely surrounded and cocooned by what love truly is,

Complete and utter acceptance,

Oneness,

Union with all that is.

You can feel that on your skin as you sit like Buddha and just breathe in this space.

The walls of this cave,

Of this dwelling had different pictures on them.

And as you looked around from left to right,

You saw different scenes from your lifetime,

This lifetime where you've experienced grief,

Loss,

Sadness and pain and depression from that loss.

Don't worry,

This place will help you to fix this feeling,

To fix this grief.

But first we have to let it rise.

We have to let it come to the surface.

Unlike the walls of this cave,

It's as if they represent the walls of your mind just because you suppress and you avoid these thoughts,

These memories,

These feelings.

It doesn't make them heal.

They don't go away.

So together right now in this cave,

Let's just sit and allow the walls to show us where we grieve.

Maybe it's a lost relationship.

Maybe it's lost hope in a lifetime or a dream that you thought you were going to live.

Maybe it's the death of someone you loved dearly.

Let the grief start to rise.

And beyond the walls of this cave,

This room,

Inside of your heart center.

These scenes,

These memories hold feelings.

They hold emotions.

They hold the energy.

If it feels right for you,

Let the emotions come.

Let them come like waves,

As if you're releasing them and freeing them from your being.

Maybe it's tears or disappointment.

Maybe it's anger,

Frustration.

Feel whatever you want to feel.

Whatever is there,

Whatever rises,

Just let it come and be present.

It just is what it is,

Right?

It's an emotion.

It's not going to kill you.

It's not going to take you down.

It's not going to hurt you in this space.

It's just a release.

You're just releasing trapped energy.

If it wants to come out,

Let it out.

And if there isn't anything there,

If it just feels like apathy,

Numbness,

Flatline,

That's okay too.

Just be aware of it.

Be aware of the lack of feeling in your body right now.

Grief is healed when we pull our thoughts,

Our energy,

Our focus into our heart chakra.

When we live from the heart chakra,

Grief is healed.

When you sit in this space and view the world from this space,

Grief is overridden by the energy of love.

Love contains understanding.

It contains compassion,

Kindness,

Softness.

It contains the wisdom I've seen from a higher perspective.

All of these feelings,

All of these things free us from grief.

When you in all of your power sat there in the dwelling of your heart center,

Shining out this brilliant green emerald light all around the walls,

The ceiling,

The floors.

The dewy dusky pink light.

And imagine that when you bring yourself to this place of complete understanding that this is the way of Earth.

Our experiences here on Earth are all lessons,

Gifts.

Sometimes packed in pretty ribbons and sometimes packed with thorns.

But either way,

We get the opportunity here on Earth to constantly grow and change and evolve through these experiences.

And if we can see that that's all that is truly happening to us,

We can love again.

It's all like a big game of chess.

Different pieces representing different people coming in and out and moving around on our chessboard.

Each one bringing an opportunity for growth.

Here in your heart center,

You can sit in that peaceful knowing.

It is what it is.

And so it is.

Allow the images around you to start to just fade as if they're dissolving into the walls,

Melting into the ground.

Feeling freed from your heart.

Releasing you from the entrapment of grief.

Allowing you to be in the space of love.

Let your heart open.

Imagine every breath you take now.

You see the doors of the walls of the caves,

The crevices,

The ceilings,

Everything dissolving as if your heart is opening wider than it's been for a while.

The emerald green light bursting through your chest,

Your ribs,

Your lungs.

Let your heart center completely open so that you can receive.

You can feel again.

Just breathe and allow it to expand with every breath.

Namaste,

My friend.
