Just for this time.
Let everything be as it already is.
So don't try to control anything.
Leave it all well alone.
All of the situations.
On your mind.
That you've been trying to find a solution to.
Trying to fit.
Trying to figure out the best way forwards,
Just for this time now,
Just leave it alone.
Let it be.
Trust that life has a natural order.
A natural harmony.
All things will come right in the end.
Simply allow this natural process to unfold.
Simply feeling less responsible.
Let go of the burden.
Of trying to figure out the exact right course of action.
You have likely thought about all of this more than enough.
Just let it go.
You already trust.
So much of the world,
So much of the universe,
To carry on with its natural flow,
Its natural energy.
You trust the sun to rise each morning.
You trust the plants to grow.
You trust your heart to beat.
There are so clearly natural laws in place,
And all things move according to these laws.
Release all of the burdens of your mind to these laws.
Let them go.
And the universe will take care of it all.
Let it be.
Let it all simply be.
For these calm and simple moments.
Do not be the fixer.
Do not be their analyzer.
Do not be the organizer.
Do not count or measure anything.
Seize.
Managing.
The external and internal worlds.
Instead just observe.
With a relaxed acceptance.
This relaxed acceptance.
Is not an action.
It's a non-action.
It is the release of a previous action.
Relax into this complete surrender.
All of the things on your mind that you are frustrated by,
That you cannot find a solution to.
That you have tried and tried to improve or fix,
Just for this short time now.
Let them go.
There may be things in your life that need to change.
That can change.
And you will continue to take action to change them.
But sometimes the best thing that we can do.
Is give these things space.
Let go.
And give the scenario a chance to breathe.
All things shall come right in the end.
There is simply turbulence on their way to reconciliation.
So let the turbulence be.
And just as we can extend this gentle,
Compassionate acceptance.
To all things in the external world.
Apply them also to your internal world.
Take a break from trying to heal,
Fix or improve your mind.
Don't try to manage your emotions.
Just for this time,
It's a sense of just allowing everything to fall where it falls.
Even uncomfortable emotions are okay as they are.
Give them space.
So that they might return home to their healthy position in the internal world.
Leave your mind alone as well.
There is no need to make an enemy of the mind.
It is just doing what it does naturally,
Trying to fulfill its role.
So you can simply observe the mind.
Trying to fix problems,
Solve problems,
This is okay.
Don't get involved in any of these thoughts.
Just observe with a relaxed curiosity.
So truly letting things be.
And this is not a static or solid thing.
To allow and to accept the natural flow of life is to witness the ever-changing,
Ever-flowing,
Temporary nature of all phenomena.
Like watching the water flow downstream.
So too observe the universe.
The external world,
The internal world,
All of it flowing downstream.
Release yourself from the burden.
Trying to hold back this stream.
Let go of the feeling of responsibility that you need to direct all events,
All situations,
All thoughts,
All feelings and instead,
Just begin to go with this flow,
Instead of fighting against it.
Surrender.
To the current.
No more fighting.
No more wrestling.
No more struggling.
Just let it be.
In a moment,
We will be leaving the formal aspect of this meditation.
But even if it is time to engage with usual daily activities.
See if it's possible to introduce this gentle practice of acceptance.
Whenever you get a moment to yourself.
