Hello and welcome to day five of Insight Timer's Breathwork Challenge.

Time for a deep breath.

Inhale deeply and let out a soothing sigh.

Let's dive into today's session.

Hello everyone and welcome to this breathwork experience.

This breathwork flow is brought to you by Awaken Breath and today's breathwork flow is going to be Dragon's Breath.

Dragon's Breath is a combination of Breath of Fire accompanied by deep inhales and big sigh exhales to create deep relaxation.

With this breathwork practice we will clear the channels and the nostrils,

Exercise the diaphragm and come back into harmony through deep relaxing breaths.

Please make sure that you are in a safe environment and that you have pillows and blankets around you just in case you need to lie down.

This breathwork practice can be quite intense so I invite you to take caution while also fully leaning into the experience itself.

We're going to start with Breath of Fire and Breath of Fire is a constant pumping through the nose from the diaphragm with the breath when it sounds like this.

So go ahead and try that at your own pace.

As you exhale and pump out the diaphragm should come in,

The stomach should come in and the inhale happens naturally.

Allow yourself to practice this for a moment before we continue.

Okay,

Great.

After about a minute of Breath of Fire we're going to take deep breaths in through the nose and sigh the breath out like this.

We'll do three breaths like that and then we'll start over.

This is Dragon's Breath.

We'll do three rounds,

One minute of Breath of Fire and three deep breaths through the nose with a big sigh on the exhale.

With that being said,

Go ahead and get into a good position to begin.

Your back should be straight,

Eyes closed and feet flat.

We'll begin in five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

You're doing great.

Keep going.

You can do more than you think you can.

Almost there.

Just a few more.

Deep breath in and let it go.

Breathing in all the way.

And relax.

Great work.

And round two in five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Feel the power of your breath.

You are powerful.

You're doing great.

Almost there.

Deep breath in and sigh it out.

Last breath.

All the way in.

Let it go.

Great job.

One more round to go.

Just take a nice deep breath and relax.

We'll begin our third and final round in five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

This is the last round.

Give it everything you've got.

Pump your breath.

Feel the fire.

Hello?

Deep breath in now and let it go.

Take these last moments to just relax and take deep breaths in through your nose and out through your nose.

Give yourself this moment to meditate and to connect with your breath,

Letting every muscle in your body just relax and unwind.

Namaste.

Only improvement would be to cut the intro by the female voice.

Amazing. I am left with a full body tingling sensation that starts at my head down to my toes. This breath rhythm is great for bringing the mind back the present. I look forward to practicing this daily.

This is hard but feels great even though I am having to do it half-time after the first several breaths. I’m hoping to work up to matching Ben!

I find this so clearing and revitalizing! Great on the rainy, stormy day when I can’t run.
