Stagnation disallowing you to move forward in life.
Hello and welcome to your meditation for moving from stagnation into the flow of life.
My name is Katie Rose and we'll get started by allowing yourself to find a seat.
Bringing all of your awareness into settling into a comfortable space and at this time see if you can find stillness.
Giving you a couple more seconds to find rest,
To find stillness and to enter into a space with no distractions,
No temptations and the ability to let go.
Bringing your awareness into the connection of your body,
Into the ground,
Bringing in a big inhale through your nose and simply letting that breath go.
Drawing up from the ground,
Take another inhale and letting go into the earth,
Breathe it all out.
Inhale your shoulders reach up towards your ears,
Open mouth exhale let them fall.
Again shoulders reach up on an inhale towards your ears and open mouth exhale let it go.
Allowing your heart to now beam up towards the sky,
Giving you a foundation of being connected to not only to the ground but also to the light above.
Take another inhale and exhale let it go.
Bringing your awareness now to notice your third eye,
The area right at your forehead at your forehead and begin to paint a picture,
A picture of a beautiful landscape outside open space.
Allow your visualization to include what time of year it is.
Allow the visualization to unfold and take another deep breath in.
Exhale drop down into your seat feeling yourself grounded yet again and supported by the earth beneath you.
Bring in another deep inhale and exhale watch your landscape unfold.
You may notice if there's trees surrounding your open field or your meadow,
Maybe you're near a river bank.
Allow yourself to notice what the sky resembles,
Recognizing if it's autumn and it's windy and the leaves are blowing,
Recognizing if it feels like it's summer,
The wildflowers are popping up from the earth.
And breathe in again and simply let all your air go.
Re-establishing your seat,
Recognizing that you are grounded in this moment.
You are held and supported by the physical ground beneath you.
Breathe in again.
Exhale bring all of your awareness to your scene.
Continue to let it unfold,
Recognizing that what you are visualizing here is exactly perfect for you in this moment and allow yourself to simply notice what is.
Sharpening your skills of awareness through your visualization here.
Bring your awareness to notice the sky,
Noticing the sky,
The color,
Maybe it's dead in the day and it's blue,
Bright bright blue,
Or maybe you notice it's cloudy,
Or maybe a combination.
Take another big inhale and exhale.
Let yourself go,
Recognizing that when you let yourself go to the visualization that there's nothing you need to do,
Only to allow.
And in this scene that's painted before you,
I want you to now visualize a horse,
A lonely horse all by itself in this scene that you've created.
And I want you to begin to watch this horse as it walks through your nature scene.
And I want you to begin to notice what the horse represents through its body language.
Take another deep inhale and blow it out.
Now notice the energy of this horse.
Is this horse walking slow like it has nowhere to go?
Is it walking fast like it's in a hurry?
What color is your horse?
Does its tail stick out long behind it or does it seem to tuck underneath its legs?
Bring your awareness to notice your horse's ears,
Recognizing what this energy represents through the ears.
Are they pulled back or are they looking out in front?
Continue to let yourself focus on the horse that's represented in this scene,
Continuing to feel yourself grounded in this moment by being held.
And you bring in another big inhale and you let all that out,
Recognizing again the body language of your horse.
If the horse is standing still,
Is its head cocked up high or is it hanging low?
Is your horse grazing,
Eating all the grass?
Maybe you notice the back leg is a little shifted,
A little relaxed,
Almost like you're standing on one leg and your hips cocked one way.
Continue to watch your scene.
Maybe you notice there's other wildlife there.
And looking at the horse in its entirety,
From its mouth,
Noticing the lips,
Noticing if it feels like the horse's jaw is tightly closed or if it feels kind of open.
Noticing if it's breathing hard or if the pace of the breath is easy.
Noticing the eyes,
If they feel pierced or if they seem soft.
Again,
Recognizing the ears,
What do they represent?
Continue to fold down your horse's neck,
Following down the back of the horse.
Maybe you can even notice if the horse feels bloated or extra skinny.
And then drawing yourself down the back of the horse and noticing the tail yet again and noticing the horse's connection to the earth.
Maybe your horse is laying down.
Bring in another deep breath in for you and then let that air out.
Now glancing at the horse as a whole,
What does this body language represent?
Go with your first answer.
And maybe what they represent is an emotion.
And once you feel like you know what this body language represents,
I want you to take another deep breath in and then let that air out.
Recall again,
What does this horse represent?
Name it now.
Take another deep breath in and let that go.
Bring all of your awareness now to notice your entire body against the ground.
Remembering what your horse represents through its energy,
Where in your body do you also hold the same energy?
Go with your very first guess and just start right there.
Bring all of your awareness into this area of your body that reminds you of how the horse the horse showed up for you.
Take another big inhale and exhale out.
Bring all of your awareness into your body,
Into this place that represents the energy of your horse.
Begin to dissect and go a little bit more inward into your own body,
Into this area,
Into this zone and begin to name the sensations that are there.
Does it feel tight?
Does it feel like pressure?
Does it feel open,
Warm,
Tingling,
Numb?
Continue to be with the sensations here and name them.
Feel free to drop back to the imagery of the horse for reference and then keep yourself in your body.
Notice this spot.
What does it feel like in your own body?
Take another big inhale and exhale.
See if you can let that go.
Noticing where your energy wants to move and in this moment do you feel yourself still in that same area or did you shift to another part of your body?
Where do you feel yourself in your body in this moment?
Take a deep breath in right there and exhale let it go.
Bringing your awareness into that same spot,
That spot you just identified and breathe in and then exhale it all out.
Where in your body do you feel yourself now?
Recognizing if it's the same spot that that's exactly perfect for you and wherever you are in your body at this time go ahead and notice the sensations there.
Begin to notice how it feels and see if you can bring in another awareness point of this sensation in your body.
What color is it?
Go with your very first answer.
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
Feel that color.
Let yourself watch the transformation of this color.
Maybe it weakens intensity.
Maybe it gets brighter.
Maybe it fades into a different color.
Bring yourself back into the body and let this color move through you and out.
Big inhale and let it out.
Inhale your shoulders reach up towards your ears.
Exhale let it go.
Exhale let it go.
Where in your body do you feel yourself now?
Bring all of your awareness to that spot.
Allow yourself to get intimate here with the sensations that you might feel and as you're feeling into this zone begin to ask yourself what's the biggest thing that's keeping me stuck?
The answer doesn't have to be a literal translation.
The answer could be a sound.
The answer could be a heightened awareness again on another area of your body.
My invitation to you is to simply bring your awareness to that spot.
Bring your bring your awareness to the answer.
What is in the way of you being able to follow your path?
Bring your imagery right back to your horse in your nature scene.
Has anything shifted?
Is the scene the same?
Is there more action?
Is there more mobility?
Does it feel like less stress?
Watch it unfold.
Giving yourself the skill set here to be the observer to simply strengthen your ability to be in awareness of what is and breathe out wherever you are.
Follow that in with a nice big inhale on the count of one two three four.
Hold your breath right there.
Hold and pause.
Bring in a little bit more air through your nose and open mouth exhale side out and again inhale on the count of one two three four.
Hold your breath at the top here.
A little bit more air wants to come in through the nose.
Allow and open mouth exhale side out.
Dropping your awareness into your seat.
Noticing every single point that your body touches the ground.
Another big inhale on the one two three four.
Pause and hold and open mouth exhale.
Let it all let it all.
Drawing your awareness into your visualization yet again I want you to imagine that now your horse has a friend.
Your horse is no longer alone and I want you to begin to visualize yourself as that friend,
That companion,
That partner and allow yourself to walk simply through the scene right up to the horse.
Again your horse may have changed since the beginning of this visualization and we want to go with the horse as he is now and as you walk up to the horse the horse simply bows forward allowing you to safely mount with ease.
You begin to get on the horse and you take a deep breath in exhale let your air out and as you allow yourself to mount and sit on the horse an overwhelming feeling of ease swarms you and the horse as you begin to feel your connection and oneness that you and the horse generate together.
Take another deep inhale feeling up your belly with fresh fresh air open mouth exhale watch as you and your horse begin to walk off into the scene.
Recognizing that the body language of the horse is now representing of forward motion.
Giving yourself the ability to step out of stagnation and into forward,
Forward action,
Forward momentum and allow this horse to carry you through its stable feet through the meadow or whatever your or whatever your nature scene represents.
Take another deep breath in exhale out allow yourself to see yourself in motion going towards the life you know you want and deserve.
Big inhale exhale out if your eyes were closed during your meditation begin to slowly open them feel into your body wherever you feel yourself the most and allow yourself to join in with life.
