This is a perfect day practice and it provides a break from your current routine.
It's a really good idea to grab a pen and a notebook to write down afterwards anything that has come up for you.
So go and grab that now.
And when you have just getting in a comfortable Seated position where you're alert.
And gently closing your eyes if that feels okay.
We're going to visualize a perfect day.
So you can let your mind wander and it's like daydreaming with a purpose and because our mind doesn't know what's real and what's imagined it's like you actually live through this and it can really sort of connect you with your inner ambitions and desires So just really allowing your mind to go wild if it wants to.
So just bring in yourself.
To this moment.
Feeling your physical body on the chair.
Noticing your posture.
Allowing your shoulders to drop.
And just bringing your attention to your breath.
Just feeling the in-breath.
And the out-breath.
In-breath and out-breath.
Perhaps you want to take a few deeper breaths right now.
I'm just allowing your body to soften.
So we're going to start by imagining you're waking up in your perfect bed.
It might be your current bed or it might be some kind of visual of a bed that you would love to wake up in.
Just noticing what that feels like.
Opening your eyes.
In your visualisation.
But not in real life.
And just noticing the room around you.
Perhaps it's your room at the moment,
Or perhaps it's somewhere completely different.
Just noticing what's around you.
Feeling that energy.
And getting out of bed.
And walking out of the bedroom.
Into the kitchen.
Any kitchen that you want.
What does it look like?
What are some of the details?
Perhaps out the window you have a view,
Beautiful view.
Taking in those details.
Just noticing your perfect breakfast,
What will you have?
Will you be alone?
When you be with others.
Specializing that.
And then deciding how you're going to spend your perfect day.
What will you do first?
Visualize that now.
How will you spend your morning?
Perhaps you just want to be in your own company.
Or maybe you want to do something active.
Or see friends.
Now fast forward to lunchtime,
Where would you like to be?
Who would you like to be with?
What would you like to be eating?
Let's go to that place now.
And then onto your afternoon.
How would you like to spend your afternoon?
Just letting your mind wander.
Taking in the details.
What does your perfect day feel like?
What would you be wearing?
And how would you be getting around?
Moving on to your evening now,
How would you like to spend it?
It doesn't matter if you want to flip over to the other side of the world,
Just remembering this is your perfect day,
You can do whatever you want.
And then at night time,
Getting back into your perfect bed.
And feeling gratitude for everything that you've experienced during your perfect day.
How are you feeling at the end of that day?
As you gently drift off to sleep.
Okay!
Now just bringing your attention back to your body.
Back to your breath.
And gently opening your eyes.
And just writing down any notes about your perfect day,
Of what you've just experienced during this practice.
And just seeing if there are any elements that you can bring into your life today.
Or anything perhaps you want to work towards.
And just retaining this joy of that perfect day and taking it with you into your day.
Thank you.
