You're doing more than enough,

Probably more than you should.

I see you.

I am you.

And I think your cup is looking a little empty,

So let's fill it.

Welcome to Coached by Nikki Dyer.

Just because you can do it all,

Doesn't mean you have to.

Prioritizing yourself goes to the bottom of your list because as women,

We have been taught to do things for other people,

To show our love,

And to gain theirs in exchange.

But today,

We're going to work on changing the narrative.

But before we begin,

Take one hand and place it over your heart.

And take a deep breath in,

And exhale.

With another deep inhale in,

And exhale.

Take a brief moment to breathe some fresh air into your heart,

To feel the energy of peace in the spaces around you.

And just give yourself permission to fill up your own cup.

Repeat these affirmations after me,

With feeling and intention behind each one.

It's time to begin.

I am doing the best I can.

I can be more kind to myself.

My worth is not defined by how much I accomplished today.

I am deserving of a break.

I am worthy of resting.

I deserve to only focus on one thing at a time.

I deserve to find a balance.

It's normal to feel overstimulated by my children and my partner.

I love myself.

I have compassion for myself.

Today I will prioritize eating.

I will prioritize resting.

I am so deserving of everything I desire most.

These reminders are yours to carry with you today.

And if you find yourself needing another gentle reminder,

You know just where to find them.

Take one more deep breath in,

And exhale.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

If you enjoyed these affirmations,

Please subscribe and share them with someone you love.

I release a new meditation every Wednesday.

I loved this meditation! Thank you for sharing your wisdom & bringing me comfort. I could really resonate with “It’s normal for my children & partner to overstimulate me.” I don’t exactly have a partner, but I have a roommate & whenever she can see it in my face that I’m overstimulated with my child, she will step in. She has even tried talking to my daughter about what overstimulation is (she’s six, but using these words is a learning opportunity). Thank you Nikki! I always enjoy listening to your meditations in the morning! Namaste & Metta to all
