Hello,

Claire Downam,

Queen of Calm here,

With a meditation inner wisdom journey to help you to trust your intuition.

Before we begin,

I'd like you to make yourself comfortable.

This is a place to start trusting your intuition.

Would you like to be seated or lay down?

Perhaps you want to be in a chair or on the floor.

Begin this meditation by trusting your intuition.

Your intuition will guide you,

Your body will let you know what is the best position for you to be in.

Trust that and make yourself comfortable.

Begin by taking a long,

Deep breath.

You can choose whether to breathe out through your mouth or through your nose.

Again,

Trust your intuition on this.

You know what's right for you.

And now I invite you to take two further long,

Deep breaths in and out,

In and out.

And now just feel yourself beginning to ground into whatever it is that's supporting your body.

Notice some relaxation working its way from your feet up your legs.

Notice it moving into your thighs,

Into your buttocks,

Into your stomach and your back,

Into your chest.

Notice a heaviness in your arms from your shoulders to your fingertips.

Notice your head resting heavily,

Relaxing.

And now take a moment to observe your breathing.

Your breath will have settled back down to its normal,

Natural pace.

Just notice that.

Just observe it.

There's nothing to do.

This is a time for you.

Just observe your breath and notice that your body is relaxing and your mind is becoming quieter.

And now take a moment to observe your thinking.

Notice the words and the phrases and the sentences moving across your mind.

Isn't it interesting?

The number of things that go across our minds.

Isn't it interesting how random they are?

Have you noticed already in this very short time,

How many different thoughts have come in and out of your mind?

Let's pause for just a few seconds and observe those thoughts.

And now consider those thoughts and what they really are.

For a long time you may have believed that those thoughts were you,

Your personality,

The truth of who you are.

But I wonder,

As you have observed those thoughts and noticed how random they are,

That you can start to see yourself as the one who observed the thoughts and not the thoughts themselves.

Because you are not the thoughts.

You are something so much deeper than that.

Something that we are exploring in this meditation.

Those thoughts that you used to think were you are random spots of energy coming in and out of your mind.

And in observing them,

You can begin to see that you are the thinker and not the thought.

As your mind becomes quieter you can connect more deeply to who you really are.

Connect more deeply to your inner wisdom.

Not your thoughts,

But that which is beneath your thoughts.

Your inner wisdom,

Your guidance,

Your connection to the universe,

Your connection to Source.

It doesn't really matter what you call it,

But as you begin to observe more and more your thoughts and realise that they are not who you are,

Your connection to this inner wisdom will get deeper and deeper.

You are the thinker,

Not the thoughts.

You are wisdom,

Not thoughts.

You are intuition,

Not thoughts.

As you listen to my voice,

I want you to feel this deep connection to your intuition.

Where do you feel that in your body?

Perhaps it feels like it comes from your heart or your gut.

It doesn't come from your thoughts.

Notice right now where in your body you feel connected to your intuition,

To your inner wisdom.

Wherever that is in your body,

I want you to focus on that area right now.

Feel a sense of an energy growing there.

Perhaps it has a light,

A colour,

A shape.

Perhaps it has a texture.

It doesn't really matter.

See it just as you want to see it.

Experience it from your truth.

You cannot get this wrong.

There's only your truth.

There's only your wisdom,

Your intuition,

Which is your connection to the universal.

Focus on that area right now and feel a sense of warmth and energy.

Feel a sense of trust,

A wonderful inner knowing that you can always turn to this inner guidance,

That it is never not there.

It's always there for you.

Sometimes you'll notice that it is covered up by your thinking,

By your busy mind,

By stress,

Anxiety and overwhelm.

But I want you to trust now that it never ever goes away.

Your intuition,

Your inner wisdom or whatever you want to call it is always there.

You can always trust that you have every answer you ever need inside you.

Focus again on where you have visualized that inner wisdom to be sighted in your body.

Focus on that area and feel the warmth,

The energy,

The sensation of it spread throughout your whole body.

All the way down to your toes and all the way up to your head.

Feel it spread slightly out from your body as if it is wrapping you in a beautiful warm blanket of safety.

Know that you are always held and you are always supported by this intuition and that whenever you need the answers to anything,

In exactly the right time,

Those answers will emerge.

Be aware that your thinking will sometimes say that needs to be faster than it is,

But know that the answers are always coming at exactly the right time.

Know that you can come back to this meditation to reconnect to that trust,

To reconnect to your inner wisdom,

To reconnect to your intuition,

But that equally you don't need to do that because it's always there.

It's always with you and it never ever goes away.

As you begin to become aware again of the environment around you,

The furniture that you're resting against,

The sounds that are inside the room and those that are outside,

As you begin to become aware of your toes beginning to move and your fingers gently wriggling,

Know that as you come back into fully conscious awareness,

You bring with you that connection to intuition.

It is solid,

It is permanent and it cannot be taken away.

Take that feeling into your day,

Know and trust that you are always guided and always protected and enjoy whatever you have to do for the rest of the day.
