Welcome to Mystical Insights.

I'm Reverend Cindy Palos and I've been studying with the University of Metaphysics and meditating for over 50 years and I love talking about spiritual matters and I'm going to be talking today about the book Dr.

Paul Leon Masters wrote Spiritual Mind Power Affirmations and we're going to discuss some of the affirmations.

Today's topic is why you are a winner.

I'll be reading the affirmations from the book and then going into discussion and doing a meditation.

It's an important subject.

It kind of gets back to our very core values.

Let's start with the affirmations.

Why you are a winner.

True self.

I am a winner for my true self is one with the presence of God at the center of consciousness within me which makes me part of the universal mind spirit that created all and all that exists.

So here we're going back not to the personality self not to the illusionary glamour self.

We're going to who you truly are and getting back to the core values.

So repeating this again true self.

The next affirmation is self image.

I establish and maintain an image of myself as a winner due to and based upon my oneness with God.

Now here's the word winner again.

We've got to go back to really the word is used so often and it's been used to really be the carrot to try to get lucky to make fame to be happy but it's not always the real true self that's bringing that happiness.

So we're bringing it back to your self image which gives you the confidence to know that you really are aligned with that God self repeating that affirmation.

I establish and maintain an image of myself as a winner due to and based upon my oneness with God.

So again aligning yourself with what's really important here and when you're aligned with that oneness with God you can't help but be aligned with good.

Because God is good all the time right and when you have that goodness you have the ultimate winning ability to look and have the right self image.

You're not looking at the outer you're looking at the inner self.

The next affirmation is attributes.

My inner oneness with God.

In my inner oneness with God I am a winner because I have God's attributes available to me to forever be a winner.

Simple and powerful right?

The attributes in my inner oneness with God in my inner oneness with God I am a winner because I have God's attributes available to me to forever be a winner.

Now how often do we really think of ourself when we're dressing ourself for work or getting ready to go out of having God's attributes?

And you might even stop and think what are God's attributes right?

Because then again we're aligning ourself with that amazing power of God's real core values and the real reason that your soul came into being.

The next affirmation is so-called failure.

Any so-called failure is just one more experience of life to unmask and uncover.

The winner I have been right along.

So important right?

This again is is where we learn from life's lessons right?

The importance of being able to take our lessons and not be defeated when they don't come out the way we want but to see that those are again making us better and stronger and we're learning from them which is the reason that we're here.

So repeating this affirmation so-called failure.

Any so-called failure is just one more experience of life to unmask and uncover.

The winner I have been right along.

And of course we need to do an affirmation on meditation which we always do.

Through my daily practice of meditation I establish and maintain a oneness with God.

The eternal winner of all things individualized in me.

So we always come back to this meditation every morning,

Meditation at night,

The daily practice of meditation and how it works in your life right?

Repeating this affirmation through my daily practice of meditation I establish and maintain a oneness with God.

The eternal winner of all things individualized in me.

The next affirmation is already so.

Of course that's the basis of what affirmations really work on.

In the mind of God I am and have always been a winner.

And in oneness will continue to be so through eternity.

So it's nice when your mother believes in you,

It's nice when your father believes in your family,

Your Facebook fans.

But in this one it's God that is believing in you.

God like me.

God said yes I'm already so.

I'm already so.

God like me.

In the mind of God I am and have always been a winner.

And in oneness will continue to be so through eternity.

And the next is adaptability.

In my oneness with God's presence within me I am adaptable to all the changes necessary to make in life that which makes and keeps me a winner.

Okay this is an important one right?

So if you're kind of stuck in in a place where you can't learn and change and be adaptable it's harder to continue to grow right?

Here's adaptability again repeating it.

In my oneness with God's presence within me I am adaptable to all changes necessary to make in life that which makes and keeps me a winner.

Creativity is the next one.

The creative consciousness of God's presence at the center of my mind flows through me to be a winner.

And of course I love the creative part that's one of my passions is creativity.

And where does the creativity come from?

It comes from God.

Repeating the creative consciousness of God's presence at the center of my mind flows through me to be a winner.

So when people ask well where did that come from?

I like that idea what inspired you right?

Well it was God that inspired you because God is the source of all creation and thus all creativity.

And the last affirmation here is intuitive guidance.

I am a winner because my conscious mind continually receives intuitive guidance as to what to do to establish and maintain myself as a winner.

And it's interesting because sometimes we do things and we don't remember to tune into that intuitive part of ourselves that guides us.

That God part that will guide us and repeating this one I am a winner because my conscious mind continually receives intuitive guidance as to what to do to establish and maintain myself as a winner.

You know sometimes we think we know the answers.

We think we know the answers.

We know the answers really when we tune to God and when God talks to us we listen and are guided and we're open to being guided and listening.

It's funny what people think of as success and I've been around this a lot you know growing up in Beverly Hills and being around a lot of stars and working in the Grammys and with my music and it's so interesting what people think of success.

I have a lot of friends who are very excited because they're nominated to get a Grammy and they're working so hard to get that Grammy you know because that will be to them success right.

They'll be a winner.

They'll be a Grammy winner.

But here's the thing that came to me a message talking about success and what it really means.

What are we demanding out of our life to make ourselves happy?

Is it in how many likes we get on Facebook or on Instagram or how high our standards are set or the neighborhood that we live in or the kind of car we drive?

Is it making millions and billions of dollars?

Is it finding a loving partner?

Nor is it having a beautiful family that we love?

Or is it being famous or being a CEO in control?

Or maybe even having our own TV show?

And what about the geniuses who look at what it takes to create a real solution to help the human race?

Did they think they were successful or were they driven to do more to solve the problems that this world faces?

Did they even find what they were looking for?

So what does success and being a winner really mean?

I really wonder if what we see can be ever be enough to complete to live out our standards of this worldly dream.

So we need to get back to the core because success is an inside job.

It's your being aligned with that power and the soul and your purpose.

It's being content with what you've got and it's finding the time to be kind,

To be kind,

To having hope and sharing love with everyone,

To love God and enjoy the life that you lead.

Because no matter how much money you've got,

No matter how many awards you win,

If you aren't really content with yourself and aligned with your soul and have that inner core and the value,

You're going to find that all that stuff just makes you more happy because you thought you wanted it so much and it didn't really give you what you want.

But if you can really accept yourself as a winner because you understand the soul is here living to learn life's lessons,

Whether you win outwardly or not,

When you encounter challenging circumstances,

Begin to see and accept how those challenging circumstances help you to grow even if they don't look like they're winning for you.

They could be winning because you're learning what you came here to learn because we come to earth to learn.

We learn that a lot of times we fail,

But that doesn't stop us.

In fact,

It makes us better.

It makes us stronger.

I mean,

Again,

Remembering about Henry Ford who was bankrupt twice before he became successful and he said,

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again,

This time more intelligently.

Bill Gates said that it's fine to celebrate success,

But it's more important to heed the lessons of failure.

So what is winning?

Right?

Is it winning because we learned what we needed to learn?

Is it that really helping us to understand what success is?

Some things to reflect on here that you have no limitations in creating a perfect way to make a success,

To be a winner and to live what you want to live and love what you want to love in life and the work you do.

To have that confidence to know that when you go into meditation,

When you find that power,

That inner core,

That light and that love,

You have that strength to align with God and carry on to do what you came here for.

All of life is supporting you.

All of God's energy is supporting you being a winner.

You know,

And we just finished up a year and we're looking at some of the lessons that we learned at the time we make New Year's resolutions and decide what we want,

What we want to do and what's important in life,

Right?

But it's time to really get back to the core fundamental values to build that strong foundation that you can live with to lead you on.

It's important to look ahead with a new vision and a new intention and to have hope to know that you can and are a winner when you're aligned with those values that are so important.

That you can work together with others in the world and see past differences and really realize that our own vested interests may best just be something that is a distraction to take us from seeing the bigger picture.

We all have separate wheels and when we kind of take our step outside your mind and see the bigger picture and have a higher perspective,

You can see what's really important for the good of the world.

The greater picture lets us see the whole and how we can really have goodwill to work for all and how successful is that when you're really doing something of value to remove the negative energy and fill ourselves with that positive good God energy to not react in a negative way but stay positive through all the challenges to share that radiant goodwill that can actually turn the darkness to light.

There's such a need for hope now and what greater hope is there then to know that you have God and you're aligned with God and you believe in that light that is greater than darkness,

The love that's stronger than hate,

That you can heal not hurt,

And you can have compassion and that's not weakness but strength,

That you can change the world.

Now that's success and that's happiness if you can really feel that you're doing something good and sharing your pure energy to do your best to make the world a better place what could be more of a winner than that.

Let's take a couple of deep breaths and go into a meditation here.

Align your soul,

Make yourself comfortable,

Relax,

Close your eyes,

Take some very deep breaths in,

Breathing in that power of the light and the presence of God,

Breathing out anything else that's a distraction,

Getting back to that center,

That core of who you are,

Breathing in the light of the soul energy,

Breathing out anything else that's the thoughts that distract the mind.

Just letting yourself experience who you are,

Just letting yourself experience who you are,

Breathing your intention,

Breathing the awareness that you are a winner when you align with your intention and your true soul purpose.

Be comfortable,

Be centered,

Go there deep within,

Find that place there within your heart of hearts.

See that light of the source right there within you.

Let that light grow and grow into an infinite light,

The torch of your soul that never burns out.

Understand that you have the spirit with every breath you take,

Your breathing spirit into form.

This spirit is the power of God alive in you.

Take a moment to ponder what you think makes up a winner.

What is your core value?

What is your reason for being?

What do you really wish to accomplish?

Can you receive this pure energy of love that directs and guides you to accomplish it?

Can you release any negative energy that's been holding you back?

Can you receive the energy of God,

The ultimate accomplishment of being one with God,

Being aligned with the oneness of all?

Breathe in how you can make this world a better place.

Let the answers and direction guide you and come to you.

Let it fill your entire mind with light,

With your purpose.

Think of all the positive things that have happened to you in your life.

Reflect on how beautiful it is when you understand and see your true potential and how you've done good in the world.

See all the good that you've shared.

See all the lessons that you've learned,

The magical miracle of life and the lessons that have made you who you are.

Embrace the self that you are,

The soul that you are.

Allow the soul to fill you and realize that you are love,

A love that is alive and being.

You are light,

The light that holds the eternal flame.

You are part of the source of all creation.

You are the miracle of miracles,

The gift of God,

Being here now with this light and this love in this very moment.

This breath of life for you to use as you wish in life,

When you believe that you are God in action.

You are a co-creator with God.

Be this,

Believe this,

Remember God is your partner in life.

With that help all things are possible.

Breathe this,

Breathe it in,

Be this and thank God and that presence of spirit for being with you always.

Realize the true good you can do.

And now slowly come back to yourself and come out of meditation and realize that you are re-energized,

That you are re-made in that image of the true you.

And I thank you for taking the time to meditate and to listen today.

I close out today's talk with the Aramaic version of the Lord's Prayer which is very different than the Lord's Prayer that a lot of us come to know.
