Aloha,
My name is Reverend Cindy Palos and today I'm going to talk about a subject of illumination.
The illumination that comes from the one light,
The source of all.
In the beginning was the Word.
And the Word was God and God said,
Let there be light.
And from that light came an illumination that created all of life.
And I'm going to focus on the ability to stay in that one source of light,
Which is the illumination that brings us to that Christ consciousness,
That one consciousness where we do stay in that light.
This is also expressed in Buddhism as enlightenment and some forms of samadhi.
But a lot of forms of this is not included in just stages of enlightenment because we can experience that light and then come back and slip from it.
But what Christ was teaching us was to be able to stay in that light,
That one light,
And live in that light.
And from that light then how to put those precepts,
Those teachings to work in our everyday life.
Follow the golden rule.
Treat our neighbor as our self.
And maybe even better because sometimes we don't treat ourselves that well.
Be in this state of enlightenment.
You must be able to let go of your little self.
In fact,
You experience a death of sorts and a rebirth to the one light.
And it can change you.
It can give you a brand new perspective on your life.
Mystics throughout time have spoken of illumination and it can be the culmination of many lifetimes on the path to God.
Mother Mary experienced this union with God,
This light.
And through that union came forth the one light held by the Christ.
We can let that light be born within ourselves.
We can be illuminated.
This is the path that you follow when you follow the path of love.
But you must love God with all of your heart.
You must love God with that fire that burns as the one flame of all creation.
You must understand that love as being the love that God has to offer.
For God is the creator and the fire that consumes all of the mistakes,
All of the illusions to leave only that truth of your one existence that you can live eternally and finally be free.
To give freedom from the dreams that have held you prisoner and allowed you to sleep while passing time here on earth.
Each breath is a prayer for life.
Each thought can be set as a direction in the compass that will guide you home to that light.
Held within each and every moment is a revelation that unveils the mysteries to be answered by the soul's brilliant light with the power to set you free.
Let's take a few deep breaths and call upon that light.
That illumination.
Breathe in that light and allow that light to bathe you,
Purify you,
Baptize you.
Breathe it in again.
Let it feed your hungry heart with love.
Feel that love and go deeper and deeper and deeper within until you find that one flame,
That one love present there within your heart of hearts.
Find that spirit there,
The heart's true yearning that holds the key to the love you've been seeking.
Allow yourself to feel the awakening and find that God within your heart.
To find that fire,
That passion that gives you the freedom to find that truth of truth that you have within you,
That Christ light that can be born and can be brought into your everyday consciousness.
Let all distractions go and let the mind be in you that was in that Christ consciousness.
Feel that light circling around your head and your mind,
Clearing away any doubts,
Any thoughts,
Getting brighter and brighter like the brightest sun until you can travel to that very sacred place within.
The inner world of your consciousness,
Go deeper into that world of that light.
Be aware of the same energy that is in you that was in Christ.
Be aware of the truth of who you really are.
Connect with that force that is the source,
The one part of the universe of creation and open the door to that higher reality.
Let the mind be in you that was in Christ.
Enter into that immortal part of your soul.
Join in your heart and mind with all of those in the world that hold this light forth to guide those lost in darkness to the light.
Go to that point of light within the mind of God.
Travel more and more and more towards that light in the mind of God and let that light enlighten you,
Illuminate you,
Fill you with pure,
Unconditional love.
Bring that light into your mind,
Into your heart.
Feel that beating there in your heart of hearts.
Allow it to beat in tune with the Christ.
Breathe that energy in and now see a golden light coming and appearing in front of you with the light of the Christ and feel that presence transforming every single part of you,
Every cell of your being and let any of the burdens or fears or concerns in your heart be sent out to that Christ presence there,
Right there in front of you.
And feel your burdens being lifted and released and feel in turn the love that comes back and heals you coming into you now.
Breathe it in,
Feel that breath within the breath,
That light within the light merging there within your heart,
A transforming light that renews your body and mind and soul.
The Christ light is now merging with you and you are becoming with that one light that brings the love of all creation present and feel that light bringing you eternal life.
Feel that that light leads you out of the world of darkness to the true light of Christ's consciousness,
The light that ignites the universe.
Breathe that in and feel that divine presence there within you.
Let go and know that God is alive there within you in that Christ consciousness,
Alive in the unlimited energy present in your consciousness.
Be aware of that energy with every breath you breathe.
You are a living miracle.
You are the living love of God right here on earth.
In the light of all creation,
Know you are part of God's great love.
Breathe in that spirit of love and feel the bliss of Christ embracing you now.
Absorb that love,
Feel the power that it gives you.
Believe that energy is alive right now in you and allow yourself to always accept and be renewed whenever you need to know that God is with you always.
Thank that energy.
Thank Christ,
Thank God,
Thank the presence in the Holy Spirit and slowly allow yourself to come back into your body and feel the transformation.
Feel that you are renewed and restored and revitalized by this amazing illumination of that Christ light.
And allow yourself to remember this feeling and call upon it whenever you need.
And I'll close today with the Aramaic version of the Lord's Prayer.
