To really see these respectability issues clearly is to act,
To really let go of this demand from myself,
Really drop this respectability,
This decency.
It doesn't mean that I'm not decent,
But the mind drops this seeking of decency and respectability.
This requires everybody living in society to take such a sheer action,
To drop.
Else the mind is always trapped in the pleasure of pleasing people and also the pressure from it.
So understanding of self is understanding how we respond to the demand from this mental construct of society.
See our reaction,
See our feeling,
See how the energy is vested in this incessant demand from the mental construct.
As a human being,
Can I imitate it now?
Can I live the life as it is without being confused by all of these things in my life?
Can I be really alone?
Which means that the mind is never pressured by this demand.
The mind never derives pleasure from it in conforming,
In pleasing others.
The mind just holds alone,
Stands alone.
When we please each other,
The mind of us ends in nowhere.
When one is insulted,
It seems that the reaction is different from being pleased.
But both of those involve these self-activities.
The mind is no longer peaceful.
The mind is chaotic in both situations.
Can the mind not register any thought?
When the mind is really free from the self,
The mind doesn't really respond to being pleased or insulted.
It's the self that seeks responsibility and avoids insult.
