As long as the mind are living in the past,
Which means that the mind are living in the thoughts,
In the world of me,
With all kinds of self-centered activities,
The mind lives in the concrete.
All kinds of images are hijacking the mind.
All kinds of reactions,
Emotions,
Pleasure.
They are all the consequence of this trapping.
Look around this world,
All kinds of images.
Most people are trapped in the concrete,
The images,
The thoughts,
The past,
With its pleasure,
Fear,
Turbulence,
Struggle,
All the rest of it.
But the true life,
Which is now,
This moment,
Is abstract.
You can't imagine it.
The moment you imagine it,
The image takes over you.
The thought takes over.
Then the mind is immediately back to the past.
So,
This moment is abstract.
One has to observe,
To see,
To perceive,
To feel.
They are all beyond the words.
Just like this moment,
There is a tree in front of me.
If I am really watching the tree,
I look at the leaves,
The big trunk,
Branches,
I smell it.
Perhaps there are some flowers on the tree.
I listen,
Listen to the leaves,
The sound of the birds.
But when I talk about it,
They have become images.
When I look at the tree,
I immediately think about the name,
The species it belongs to.
Then I am not looking at the tree at all.
Because the mind has been carried away by the biological knowledge,
Which is something concrete.
