To meditate technically and philosophically is to empty the mind now So the mind has space to observe and learn,
Setting aside the issues It does mean that we won't solve the issues,
But just put them aside So the mind has space to observe and learn And this becomes another challenge for many people Because the mind is always one to root out the issue immediately So the mind is purely occupied with it And such a mind can't really meditate,
Can't empty the mind This means that one needs a huge amount of courage to hold To set aside all the issues immediately To allow the mind to have space To allow the intelligence of the body,
Of the whole neural system To show its function,
Flex its muscle This courage implies that one must understand the mind totally And such an understanding brings about this courage for one to act sheerly at this moment That's why technique is never enough for the self-inquiry And technique is a very small part of this whole journey which is called meditation One has to understand carefully,
Subtly how the thoughts work What is the self,
The ego,
To enqueue it,
Perceive it And see the total structure of it
