Hello and welcome.
I'm Keira Conlan and if you are here with me today listening to this,
You have fears that are limiting you and keeping you stuck.
In this meditation we will attempt to identify and acknowledge those fears and then we will let them go.
We all have many fears.
We are afraid to get hurt,
Afraid to be disappointed,
Afraid to hurt or annoy others and we are often afraid our actions will lead others to stop loving or respecting us.
You may have some or all of these fears or you may have completely different fears.
But you are here today because you have decided to no longer limit your potential,
To no longer fail to live your purpose because of fear.
So let's get comfortable.
For this meditation I suggest you sit in a chair back straight,
Feet flat on the floor.
This will help you to feel more grounded.
I would also advise you to do this in a safe space.
One where you are not feeling exposed and you feel as safe as you can be.
You might want to fetch a comfortable blanket or your favourite pillow or cushion,
Grab a soft toy or have your dog or cat close by.
You are safe and secure,
Supported and relaxed.
As you settle in,
Take a nice big deep breath in and exhale giving your body permission to relax.
Take another nice big deep breath in and exhale and relax.
Let us begin by acknowledging your fears.
Some of them are current and very real.
Some of them are old and probably exaggerated.
But they are all part of you and that's perfectly okay.
Take another nice big deep breath in and relax a little more as you exhale.
So what are your fears?
You may already know your greatest fear and you might want to focus on that for this meditation.
But we are also going to bring in the intelligence of your body and listen to what your body wants to tell you.
So when I say the word fear,
Where do you feel that fear?
Do you feel it in your stomach or your chest or maybe in your head?
Just take a moment and become aware of what your body is telling you.
Do you feel tightness or heaviness somewhere in the body?
Are you feeling any pain or nausea?
Just notice your body and what it's feeling right now.
Don't judge it,
Just give it space.
Just be with it.
Allow it to just be.
You are allowing the wisdom of your body to answer because your body always knows what it needs,
What you need.
Focus your attention on any sensation you feel and allow that sensation to answer the following question.
What is the fear keeping you stuck?
What is the fear keeping you stuck?
If you got an answer to that question,
Great.
If you didn't,
Don't worry.
We are letting go of fears today regardless of what they are and where they are in your body.
You are here with me now because you have already decided to release the fear that's holding you back.
So let's do it.
Let's release the fear.
Remember that letting go of the fear doesn't mean you are being negligent or dismissive of the things you are afraid of.
Your fears might be real.
They may be very legitimate fears.
They might warn you towards staying safe and that's a good thing.
But if your fears are misplaced or exaggerated or if they have been holding you back or keeping you stuck it's now time to let them go.
So with your awareness focused on that area in your body where the fear resides know that what you are feeling is stuck emotion,
Stuck energy,
Stuck energy that your subconscious mind is held onto thinking that it's keeping you safe.
But you now know you don't need it and you now know it's safe to let it go.
What you are feeling belongs in the past.
You no longer need it so you can tell your body it's okay to let it go.
Breathe into the area of your body that feels the fear.
If you don't feel anything imagine where in your body the fear would be and breathe into that space.
As you put your attention onto this area in your body the energy will gradually start to shift.
You will notice the feeling starts to lighten.
The emotion gradually begins to detach from your body because it knows it doesn't belong in present time.
As you breathe in accept all that is.
As you breathe out you let go of the fear.
Breathing in releasing and letting go with the exhale.
Continue to breathe in and out in your own time.
Each breath bringing you and your body back into present time.
With each exhale you are actively releasing your fears.
Breathing in,
Breathing out and letting go.
You don't have to do anything except breathe.
Your body knows exactly what to do.
Breathing in and breathing out.
You are allowing your body to get unstuck.
Allowing your body to release,
To relax and to let go.
Breathing in,
Breathing out and letting go.
You will notice how the stuckness in your body is releasing and relaxing.
Keep breathing,
Keep encouraging yourself,
Keep believing in yourself.
You are becoming unstuck.
You are moving from fear into flow.
You are leaving the struggle behind and stepping into a more confident and relaxed future.
You will also want your thoughts to support you moving forward.
So notice when your thoughts are fearful and choose again.
Choose happier or more loving thoughts and let go of the fearful ones.
Each time you have a fearful thought just remember you can choose again.
Remember your thoughts are yours,
Your thoughts are within your control.
Breathe in thoughts of gratitude,
Of happiness and love and breathe out the fearful and anxious thoughts.
Continue to immerse yourself in positive thoughts as you continue to let go of your fears.
Take one final big deep breath in and exhale.
In your own time you can open your eyes and come back to the present.
