Taking some time now,

Get yourself as comfortable as you can be.

Adjusting any parts of your body and allowing your body to arrive fully into this moment.

If you haven't already,

Closed over your eyes,

Do so now.

And take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through the nose and a long,

Releasing exhale out through your mouth.

And again,

Breathing in calm and breathing out any tension.

With each breath,

Feel your body becoming more grounded,

More at ease.

And now imagine roots growing,

Extending from the base of your spine down into the earth beneath you.

Growing down deeper,

Deeper and deeper.

Holding you,

Supporting you.

Just start to notice how your body feels slightly different,

More stable.

And on your next inhale,

Draw in some of that grounding energy through these roots.

On your next exhale,

Release any heaviness.

And notice using those roots to let go of anything,

Any emotion,

Any energy that you no longer need.

Just letting it go.

And now bring your awareness to your heart center.

Place a hand over your heart if it feels right.

And for a moment,

Imagine your breath flowing into and out from your heart.

Steadying that breath,

Making the in-breath match the out-breath.

Now bring to mind someone or something you are grateful for.

And just feel how gratitude just softens the edges of your mind.

How gratitude shifts your focus from lack to abundance.

And just allow that image of that person or thing to fill your body with appreciation or care.

And on your next in-breath,

Say silently to yourself,

I choose gratitude.

And on your out-breath,

I release judgment.

I choose gratitude.

I release judgment.

Judgment of myself.

Judgment of others.

Judgment of circumstances.

Notice how this gratitude creates more space.

Space for peace.

Space for renewal.

I choose gratitude every time.

Because there is always something to be grateful for.

And I know that gratitude is a step closer to love.

And that love is always available.

Even when fear arises,

Love is that deeper truth.

And on your next inhale,

Silently say,

I choose love.

And on the exhale,

Release fear,

Doubt or worry.

And feel your heart expand as you say,

I choose love over fear.

I choose love.

Love over fear.

And I choose gratitude over judgment.

Allowing those truths to settle into your body.

Now,

Bring to mind someone in your life.

It could be someone you deeply love.

It could be a colleague.

Or even someone you find challenging.

And just see them in front of you.

Whatever person popped into your mind first,

Let it be.

Just imagine them in front of you.

In a beautiful,

Bright light shining on them.

And just recognize them as a human being on their own journey.

A human being deserving of compassion.

And as you inhale,

Silently say to yourself,

I choose connection.

And as you exhale,

Release any criticism,

Any blame,

Any resentment.

Breathing in connection.

Breathing out criticism.

And feel how connection can bring healing.

To yourself and to the space between you and others.

I choose connection over criticism.

I choose love over fear.

I choose gratitude over judgment.

Those meanings to sink in to your mind and into your body.

I choose connection over criticism.

I choose love over fear.

I choose gratitude over judgment.

If you can carry those words with you,

But more importantly,

What they mean,

With you right through the day,

Through the week,

Through the month,

Through the rest of this year,

Your life will be very different.

Connection.

So bringing your attention back to your whole self,

Your whole body,

Sitting in your chair,

Lying on the bed,

And just notice that love in your heart,

That gratitude in your mind,

And that connection in your spirit,

In your soul,

In your whole being.

And let these qualities flow through your body,

Renewing and upgrading your energy.

Allow them fully integrate.

Because they're already who you are.

We're just remembering,

And releasing and letting go of all the things that get in the way of this deeper truth.

So taking a lovely big deep inhale,

Sealing in those deeper truths of connection,

Love and gratitude fully into your body,

And exhaling and letting go of the criticism,

The fear and the judgment.

Inhaling again,

Connection,

Love,

Gratitude,

And exhaling criticism,

Fear and judgment.

And inhaling a commitment to remember this for the rest of your day,

To fully live and embrace this truth,

And exhaling,

And allowing it to be.

When you're ready,

Noticing your body fully,

Touching your legs,

Feeling your fingers,

Wiggling your toes,

And take that final big deep breath in,

And exhale,

And remember to have a beautiful inner day.
