Welcome.

My name is Christy,

And this is a short meditation to assist in cleansing your heart so that you may release and let go of any stagnant energy,

Past memory patterns and feelings that are no longer serving you so that you may open up,

Opening you up to love,

Opening you up to peace,

Opening you up to forgiveness and change.

Take the next few moments to allow yourself to get comfy in the position that you have chosen.

Close your eyes and settle into the surface below you.

Notice how the Earth's gravitational pull secures you to the surface that you are resting on.

Give yourself permission to temporarily forget about any responsibilities for the next little while because in this moment,

You have chosen to serve yourself.

Observe any tension that you may be holding in your body,

Possibly in your hands,

Your shoulders,

Your jaw,

Or your forehead.

Imagine all of the muscles from the very top of your head to the tips of your toes melting like oil in a pan.

Allow any residual stress to fall away,

No longer a part of you.

Let's begin with some om chants.

Om.

Om.

Om.

Om.

Feel the cadence of your breathing slowing down.

Your breath like a ripple of water from the center of your being out to the extremities.

Now gently place your hand over your heart center showing your heart that in this moment,

It is protected and free to open up.

Visualize energy flowing like a light from your heart center through the palm of your hand.

Traveling up through your forearm,

Your upper arm,

Your shoulder,

The side of your neck,

Your ear,

Your heart,

Your heart,

Your temple,

The side of your forehead,

All the way up to the crown of your head.

The light flowing down into the area of your brain.

And with your mind's eye,

Experience the light energy expand and stay there for a while circling,

Circling around,

Collecting thoughts that do not belong and cleansing all of the buried unconscious truths that do not hold certainty for you any longer,

That are not who you truly are or what you want to associate yourself as.

On your next exhale,

Visualize all of those old stagnant thoughts mingling with the breath,

Getting ready to take a journey to depart your being.

Downward through the center of your forehead to the arch of your nose,

To the tip of your nose,

Circling your right nostril and then the left nostril.

Down through your throat,

Tickling the base of your throat,

Traveling to the top of your throat,

Flowing into your mouth,

The back of your tongue,

Tip of your tongue,

Touching your right cheek,

Now your left cheek,

Swirling around your entire mouth.

And at this moment in time,

Getting it to slip out through your lips.

Take a moment to wish the energy well and really imagine that you are free from any binding.

Even if you don't know of anything in particular that was just released,

See yourself as free.

Let's take a journey into the actual space of your heart.

Imagine you are inside of your heart.

Feel the steady vibrations of your heart beating.

Each breath that you take synchronizing with the beat.

Take a walk around,

Familiarize yourself with your current state.

It seems as if you are floating instead of walking.

How does it look inside your heart space?

Is it bright or dull?

Does it feel full of light,

Peace,

And love?

Or does it feel heavy and in need of some care?

Maybe you see something in a corner of your heart that doesn't belong any longer.

There is no need to become judgmental or defensive.

Simply allow whatever you see to surface.

Your intention during this meditation is to access the unseen,

To make it visible,

To cleanse your heart space.

As you continue exploring,

You notice there is a closed window.

Recognize yourself walking up to it.

Go ahead,

Open up the window.

Imagine a cool breeze blowing on your face.

You can feel it on your skin.

It sweeps past you into your heart,

Filling the space with the freshness that makes you smile,

Makes your heart feel brand new.

As you bask in this breeze,

You notice a broom with soft bristles.

Walk over and pick up the broom.

See yourself moving about to those areas of your heart that you have become conscious needs some cleaning.

Begin to gently and with love sweep them clean.

Imagine while you are sweeping the dust,

It flies out the window like a butterfly,

Never to return again.

When you are ready,

Place the broom back where you found it.

Walk back over to the window feeling light,

Feeling secure and whole.

Prop yourself up on the window sill.

Look out the window of your heart.

Take a few slow breaths in and out.

Welcome the sun shining on your face and really know your heart is radiating clear and open.
