So to get started now,
We're just gonna work into the breath Taking a couple of deep relaxing breaths Exhaling out anything that doesn't really serve us in this moment And I invite you to slow the breath down now Keeping the inhalations and exhalations consistent And as you bring ease to your breath,
Just noticing how that can also spread into your body Or how your body can follow this Relaxing your closed eyelids even more deeply All the muscles in your face And starting to focus on your being here Now we're gonna explore the breath a little bit more deeply now So just aiming to initiate the breath from your abdomen,
From your belly So as you inhale,
You're really feeling that belly expand out,
Fill up like a balloon And as you exhale,
It slightly contracts But the important thing here is to really establish and intentfully establish your breath from this deep center Almost from the base of your belly And if any thoughts come in,
If any judgments come in,
Just watch them,
Become aware of them This is all part of the process You bring your attention back into this consistent,
Deep,
Nourishing breath We're gonna progress now to contemplating our first approach into oneness,
Which is oneness with our body So as you breathe and sit here,
Just start by noticing your body,
The sensation of your body You might want to start by feeling your feet,
The base of your feet Or even the outside of your feet if you're sat on the floor and they're your contact points Just becoming aware of the legs now,
The knee joints,
The hip joints Breathing into these lower areas and allowing yourself to become one with them Just for this moment And the legs and the lower body being the foundation now,
The foundation for your awareness You kind of breathe up a little bit into the belly,
Feeling out your spinal cord and the way your rib cage interrelates with this You may even want to touch your rib cage Just move very gently,
Just feeling all this out,
Existing totally in your physicality in this moment Maybe your hands interlace and hold each other And again,
Very slightly sway your move You can become aware of your arms now,
How they lead into your shoulders and into your upper body And your head,
Your skull,
As it rests upon the top of your spine,
Your neck Feeling your body as one,
Surrendering to just be with it Just letting go now,
Couple of breaths Take a deep inhalation now and exhale it all out We're now going to progress to approach oneness through our passion,
Our will So having become aware of this body,
We're now going to contemplate the sense of inspiration,
The sense of passion behind it That seed of energy that seems to animate us,
Motivate us and inspire our bodily actions So I invite you now to kind of recall a time when you felt inspired,
That glimpse of excitement for life Doesn't have to be a reason for it,
It can just be there And really embody that sensation It may be helpful to kind of visualize a brightness or however that quality is visually and viscerally within you now And you're just breathing into this and you can even let it expand throughout your entire system Letting go to the power,
The passion,
That primacy of your being Deep inhalation and exhalation,
Let it all go And finally we progress onto our third layer,
Feeling oneness with our environments,
With our life,
With the whole universe around us So having contemplated the body and just now having contemplated the passion that inspires our body We're going to reflect on how we interact with our environment,
Life as it happens in front of us The moments of surprise,
The moments of mystery,
The challenges,
The doubts,
Everything that surrounds you in your environment People,
Places And just kind of sense what's behind these words that I'm saying or in other words,
Sense your environment And just as you did before,
Just as you did with the sense of passion,
See if you can feel those subtle movements within it,
That energy in it And again,
Just kind of live it as a sensation in your body right now Really letting go of all boundaries of yourself,
The container of your skin,
The container of your mind And just becoming one with this whole ocean of potential Letting go just beyond what you can imagine Continue to use your breath to free yourself and expand out Just taking a couple of breaths here with this whole universal sensation Holding a space of gratitude,
Of thankfulness in your heart For everything that life brings us,
All the potential in our environment For the great passion and will we have to meet it with and interact with it And for the body,
This beautiful vessel that carries us and embodies our grace Couple more deep grounding breaths as you come back into your body Just feeling out your hands again,
Feeling out your feet And very gently whenever you're ready,
Slowly bringing your eyes back open Thank you,
Namaste
