Welcome to this practice,
Inner Wisdom.
So I invite you now to bring your eyes closed,
Coming into a comfortable seated position,
Where your spine can be upright.
We're just going to take a couple of deep breaths here,
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Slowing your breath just a little bit.
And engaging your breath from your lower abdomen,
From the base of your belly.
Just letting the day come to one side now,
As you really focus on the presence and primacy of your breath.
And as you go about cultivating this vital connection to you,
To this moment,
To your body,
Really using the exhale now just to let go of what is not serving us,
Let go of any preoccupations,
Any sticky thoughts.
And you can just kind of be exhaled away.
And in this kind of empty space,
This potential of now,
I invite you to reflect upon the intention for our practice today.
To connect to our inner wisdom,
To the bright light of knowledge within us.
So often we go running into the outside world for the answers,
Running into our past,
Running into our thoughts.
And we've forgotten how to feel.
So today we're really going to take great care to touch base with our intuition and the very dynamic context and connectivity of life.
In doing so,
Cultivating the answers of life,
The answers of being from within.
So just taking a breath now and kind of letting those words sink in in their unique way for you.
And we're going to stick with our breath now and almost use this as a tool,
As a gateway to surrender all constructs,
Surrender all ideas,
All thoughts,
Anything we might think we know.
This includes what the time is.
This includes worries and preoccupations about the future or what things should and could be.
This includes who we think we are or who we think we should even be.
Letting go of all these ideas and as you breathe just coming into the is-ness of being.
The dynamic of your heart.
Dropping our awareness into our hearts now.
Breathing with this center of intuition,
Allowing it to subtly open.
And noticing any resistances or tensions that may accumulate in this process.
You just simply come into softening the chest,
Softening the space of the heart.
And you may even notice your heart beating,
You may even notice a very slight ebb and flow as time goes by.
And I really invite you to just be with this,
Surrender to these natural waves of being,
These waves of consciousness and presence.
And let them even grow.
So your body may naturally want to move as well,
Just a little bit,
Sway.
Really give your body to this internal process and dynamic wisdom.
Staying alert to notice any thoughts that may pull you away and coming back into this rhythmical center,
These waves of being.
Allowing yourself to be.
And if you lose it for a second,
You just come back into the heart.
You engage this space with the breath and you come back into feeling,
Into being,
Into emanating your very truth.
Slowing your breath down even more as you draw in air through the nose and you exhale through the nose.
Just allowing everything to settle,
Everything to integrate.
And as we come into the conclusion of this meditation,
Just taking a moment to appreciate yourself,
Appreciate your dedication towards your practice and process today.
Appreciate the very rhythms and waves of life.
Just taking a breath with all of that.
And finally,
Appreciating this state,
This place within you that you can reference back to at any moment in your day by just dropping into the heart,
Taking a couple of breaths and being with what resonates with you,
Being with what is true to you.
And actioning accordingly with this state.
Thank you.
Namaste.
