Welcome.
This is a short meditation to help you let go of any stress around thoughts or feelings or beliefs that aren't yours to hold on to.
Perhaps you pick them up from others or you're just being overwhelmed by the expectations of people around you.
Whatever the cause,
This is your time just to take a moment to breathe and relax.
So allow yourself to get really comfortable.
Whatever is more comfortable for you,
Whether that's sitting in a chair or lying down and gently closing your eyes.
Allowing yourself to take three deep breaths.
Allowing the out breath to be a little bit longer than the in breath which is a signal to your body that it's a safe time to relax.
And after that third long deep out breath,
Perhaps you can just take a moment to imagine that you're surrounded by a beautiful sphere.
A sphere of golden light.
Perhaps you can feel it pulsing around you or perhaps you can just imagine it.
See it,
Sense it,
Feel it or just trust that it's there.
And as you imagine that beautiful orb of light all around you,
That golden light,
Just gently releasing with each slow out breath any thoughts or feelings or beliefs about yourself or others that no longer serve you.
That don't represent you at a soul level.
You might see them merging as a dusty cloud with that beautiful golden orb of light dissolving into it.
And with each slow out breath just feeling a sense of release and relief.
As you notice how good it feels just to let go.
Bringing them to the surface and breathing them out.
Because anything that's not in alignment with your soul purpose will feel uncomfortable to hold on to.
And as you release it,
Noticing that change.
Many of us are very empathetic and take on the feelings and beliefs of others like a sponge.
So this is your time just to simply release it to that golden light.
With each slow deep breath feeling safer and safer,
More and more relaxed.
Noticing everything disappearing into that beautiful golden light.
And if you're holding on to any labels that don't serve you,
This is your opportunity to let them go.
Any labels that you've given to yourself or that others have given you,
This is your opportunity to rewrite your labels.
To make them positive and empowering,
Fun and joyful.
And as you become aware of what the new labels you'd like to hold for yourself are.
Just saying to yourself,
It's safe to be me.
I'm ready to be free.
I'm ready to feel safe.
Safe in my thoughts.
Safe in my goals.
Clear in my mind.
Trusting and hopeful.
Knowing that when I'm in alignment with my soul,
Everything feels good.
And I can make easy choices each day.
The things that will bring me enjoyment and peace.
And every time I practice this meditation,
It's easy to release the beliefs and thoughts and feelings that were never mine to hold.
And as you bask in that golden globe of golden light,
Just taking a moment to tune into some of your goals.
Breathing into your body as if it's already happened.
Noticing how you feel.
Noticing where in your body you feel gratitude and satisfaction.
Noticing where in your body you feel empowered and joyful.
Noticing how these positive changes have impacted you and the lives of others.
And generally becoming aware of the positive changes in your body,
Mind and soul.
As you look forward to the future.
And over the next few days,
Weeks and months,
You'll be able to tune in to what feels right.
The thoughts that inspire you and make you feel creative.
That lead you on that journey towards your soul's purpose.
And each day it will be easy to breathe in that golden globe of light all around you.
Helping you to feel safe and peace and an alignment with your soul's purpose.
And with the next few slow deep breaths,
Feeling thanks for this meditation for allowing yourself to have time to relax and recenter.
And at this point you can either choose to drop into a deep sleep or open your eyes ready for the rest of your day.
