Just begin by allowing yourself to find a comfortable position,
Relaxing your hands,
Relaxing your spine and correcting your body's alignment as you feel the need until you find your optimal position for relaxation,
Your optimal position for deep sleep.
And as you take this time to acknowledge any stress or tension that you may be feeling in your body,
Just allow yourself to let it go with each deep out-breath,
Relaxing and releasing with each long out-breath.
And as you begin to notice any sensations of tension in your body,
Just breathe them out with each long out-breath.
You might even thank your body for bringing the tension to your awareness and give thanks for all it has allowed you to do and be each and every day.
Becoming aware of all the things your body helps you to achieve.
With each gentle out-breath,
Just repeat in your mind these words.
I'm ready to let go of all tension.
I'm ready to let go of all fear.
I acknowledge my worries and I breathe them out with each deep exhalation.
I'm ready to experience deep healing sleep.
I'm ready to let go of all worries.
And I allow my dreams to help me find solutions.
This is my time to completely relax my body so I can experience deep,
Deep sleep.
You may be aware of the gentle rhythmic beating of your heart,
The steady and hypnotic rise and fall of your chest with each deep breath.
Gentle pulsing flow of life force energy that's ensuring that all your organs work to perfection.
And as you relax even deeper allowing your heart to fill with gratitude to your body for all it is and all it allows you to be.
You're able to send healing energy to any areas that may be experiencing tension or discomfort by seeing a warm wave of sleepy relaxation flowing to all areas of your body.
And it's so easy to send that warm healing wave of relaxation from the tip of your head down through your fingertips and down to the tips of your toes.
You could even imagine the next sleepy wave of healing relaxation is a special healing color,
Relaxing all areas in your body that are ready to let go of stress and tension.
As you breathe in a pure ray of light,
Your divine healing color sending deep relaxation to where it's needed most.
And as you continue to send that sleepy healing color to every cell,
Your body relaxes even deeper.
And with this deep relaxation and deep exhalations,
You find your mind relaxing more and more as your eyes feel heavier,
More comfortable,
More calm.
You find it's easy to relax all the muscles around your face,
Muscles in your neck,
Muscles in your shoulders,
Allowing the heavy weight of the world to simply slip away.
And this deep healing sleep is what you're allowing.
And deep healing sleep feels so good as you imagine it right now.
Now I wonder if you can imagine standing at the top of a flight of stairs.
The bottom you can see a room cast in a soft and gentle light,
With ten steps down you can hear the sound of relaxing music coming from the room.
And as you step down to the first step,
Feeling your body relax deeper and deeper.
You step down to the second step and then the third,
Relaxing twice as much as you were before.
Stepping down onto the fourth and the fifth step now,
Relaxing deeper and deeper.
The sixth step,
Seventh and eighth,
Noticing your heart beat slower and doubling that level of relaxation.
Stepping down to the ninth and tenth step now,
Until you're finally at the bottom and standing before an open door that leads into a healing room.
Before you is a beautiful white bed,
The finest of satin sheets,
Softest of blankets and pillows.
And you imagine what it might feel like to settle your body so comfortably.
So you allow the sensation of your body settling comfortably into that warm soft bed,
Feeling supported,
Feeling safe,
Feeling nurtured in this healing room.
And as your eyes adjust in this restful,
Peaceful light,
You notice a screen above you on the ceiling.
And on this screen you see the words,
Relax now.
Deep sleep now feels so achievable.
Your body is ready to relax even deeper.
And as you anticipate how good it feels to be calm and balanced,
Noticing how easy life just flows as you go with the flow for each deep relaxing breath.
Notice how good it feels right now as your body slips gently and rhythmically into even deeper relaxation.
Now you feel relaxed in your body.
You're ready to allow that relaxation to flow to all areas of your mind.
With each and every thought,
You imagine them floating away like gentle clouds on the screen high above you.
You see those thoughts float away over the most idyllic beach that you can imagine.
You might even begin to feel the sensation of the sun on your skin,
The warm sand under your feet.
You might begin to imagine the taste of salt air on your lips,
What it feels like to gently sway to the movement of the waves and breeze.
As your thoughts gently float away on each fluffy soft cloud,
Allowing them to pass without judgment,
Allowing them to float away without emotion.
It feels so easy to let these thoughts just float and drift as the sun warms your face and you turn to appreciate this beautiful beach scene.
You notice an umbrella and a lounge chair welcoming you.
The sand feels deep and soothing and as you approach the lounge,
You notice a sign written in the sand that says welcome to inner peace.
It is written in your handwriting and you notice with delight that on the lounge is your favorite pillar.
You had forgotten that you know how to relax so perfectly.

And this is your time to relax completely and deeply,
Allowing those gentle waves of relaxation to flow over you.
And the lounge feels so comfortable and as you recline,
You notice the lapping of the waves on the shore is in rhythm with your breath.

With each deep slow exhalation,
You watch the clouds take any worries away.
Worries about the past,
The present and the future simply float and drift away.
As you notice dreamily that some clouds are heavier,

As they disappear on the horizon,

As if a great weight has lifted from your heart,
Lifted from your shoulder.
As you continue to let go and observe the passing of each fluffy cloud,
Relaxing deeper and deeper.
Every cell in your body feels safe and at peace.
And with each deep healing breath,
You relax into even sleepier relaxation.
And as the sky begins to darken,
You notice the waves are moving in a very slow rhythm.
And as the sky begins to darken,
You become aware that you are now bathed in the most perfect of sunsets.
As you lie wrapped in your comfortable blanket,
Soft and nurturing.
Drifting and dreaming,
The colors sink into a deep purple haze.
And as the sun sinks into the steady rhythm of the waves,
You sink deeper and deeper into deep relaxation.
The whispers of the world soften and quieten as you sink softly and sleepily to the gentle pulse of deep healing peace.
