Relaxing the mind and body and reducing muscular tension and anxiety reduces the production of stress hormones and switches on our immune system for healing and protection. This meditation promotes deep sleep and healing. It begins with guided relaxation, gratitude and positive visualisation for wellbeing as you drift in the clouds in a healing bubble of protection and peace. 15mins guided meditation followed by relaxing music with drones, wind chimes and wind to drift off to sleep to.

This recording is an opportunity to allow your body to reset both physically and emotionally,

Allowing your immune system to function optimally and allowing healing to begin to take place.

So listen with headphones when you're ready to fall asleep.

So begin by taking a moment to find the most comfortable position for you.

It may be lying down or in a comfortable chair.

Wherever you are,

Just finding a position that feels comforting and safe for you to relax deeply.

And as you shift into that position,

Taking a nice deep breath and allowing the out-breath to be just a little longer than the in-breath.

And as you take that slow in-breath and extend the next out-breath,

You may notice that your shoulders begin to drop.

And allowing each out-breath to be just a little longer than the in-breath,

Just like a deep sigh.

And this is a signal to your body that you're in a safe place.

It's safe to relax deeply now.

And as you allow body and mind to acknowledge that you are safe in this moment,

Then it's a safe time to close your eyes.

And allow your eyes to close and you might even imagine a velvet curtain being drawn across them,

A comforting velvet curtain that feels heavy and soothing.

As you become aware of each muscle that's relaxing now.

And as that velvet curtain is drawn across your eyelids,

Becoming aware of all the muscles in your face as they start to soften and relax,

Helping you to relax even deeper now.

Noticing all the muscles across your cheeks and around your eyes.

Noticing if you can relax them even more.

Releasing any tension in your jaw.

And as you allow all the muscles around your face and then down through your neck and shoulders to relax even more deeply,

I wonder if you can picture yourself that you're in your favourite relaxing place.

Perhaps lying down and allowing your whole body to sink even deeper.

You may even choose to make up the perfect location.

A beautiful beach,

Lying in a warm relaxing bath or simply lying in your comfortable bed.

Wherever's perfect to you to allow that feeling of deep,

Deep healing relaxation.

Becoming aware of everything that you can hear,

Smell,

Sense on your skin in your perfect place.

Becoming aware of how your heart feels as you sink into that deeply relaxing healing place.

Noticing that feeling of peace as you relax every muscle in your back,

Your chest,

Your abdomen,

Pelvis,

Legs,

Calf muscles and feet.

As you enjoy the sensation of being in your special healing place.

And if there's a colour that feels healing or relaxing,

You might imagine or pretend that you're breathing it in like a cool soothing mist that fills your lungs with that healing colour.

You may even be aware of the smell of that cool soothing mist as it fills your lungs.

And the more you breathe in with each slow deep breath,

The brighter it becomes inside your lungs.

Flowing to your heart,

Flowing up into your neck and head.

Bringing a sense of comfort and ease to every cell in your body,

Every organ,

Every muscle,

Every fibre and bone.

And as you continue to relax in your special healing place,

Knowing that you're completely safe,

It's safe to be you.

This healing colour will continue to flow automatically and effortlessly without you even having to think about it.

As each slow deep breath continues to relax you.

Soothing your lungs,

Relaxing your arms,

The back of your legs and feet.

Resting in your healing place.

And the more of this cool healing mist you breathe in,

You might even pretend or imagine that you're becoming lighter.

Feeling lighter and freer,

The more rested you feel.

And it might even be fun to pretend that you're beginning to float.

The more of that healing colour you breathe in,

The brighter it becomes inside you.

You might even sense or feel that it begins to flow out through the pores of your skin,

That healing bubble of light all around you.

And I wonder what it might feel like to rest in that healing colour.

In the light of your healing space,

Feeling lighter and freer with each breath.

And it's safe to draw in this healing colour around you.

Whenever you're ready to feel safe and comfortable.

Whenever you need to clear your mind.

Whenever you're ready to allow your body to rest deeply and completely.

And when you're ready to welcome sleep.

And it's easy to welcome sleep now when you see this healing colour.

It will be a reminder that you're safe.

And have all the resources within you to return to this peaceful place whenever you choose.

You can choose to allow this bubble of light to offer you protection.

Like a protective shield that's always with you.

And as you rest in this healing place,

Taking a moment to acknowledge with gratitude all your body has allowed you to do.

From the moment of birth to this moment.

Acknowledging all the movement and all the thoughts,

All the feelings.

All that has allowed you to do with the next slow deep breath.

Becoming aware of all the relationships that you're grateful for.

The people that support you and your family or community.

The people you care about and who care for you.

And you can place that feeling of support,

Gratitude,

Love inside that bubble of healing light that surrounds you.

Relaxing you even deeper.

And with each slow deep breath,

That cool soothing mist fills your mind and body with a sense of peace.

And the more of that soothing color that you breathe in,

You might even imagine it extending out far,

Far beyond you.

Out into your community.

Out into the landscape.

Flowing that peaceful healing color out to all who need to feel safe.

All who need to feel this relaxed.

As you allow your mind and body and soul to continue to relax deeper and deeper.

As it floating on the fluffiest of clouds,

Beyond this time and place,

To another healing place.

Effortlessly drifting on the coolest of breezes.

With your attention drifting to the rise and fall of your chest,

The sound of your breath and the comfortable sensation of relaxing deeper and deeper.

It's the perfect temperature here.

And part of your mind will continue to float higher and higher,

Freer and freer.

And the higher you float,

The safer and lighter you feel.

And far below you,

You can catch glimpses of forests and rivers below those fluffy clouds.

Floating high and free.

And the higher you float,

The freer you feel.

With the knowledge that far below,

New leaves are shooting,

Seeds are germinating,

Life is regenerating.

And the higher you float,

The more relaxed you feel.

As you become aware of the life force energy flowing within every cell,

Every muscle,

Every organ that is you.

Each cell regenerating,

Renewing,

Bringing balance and healing.

And any sounds around you automatically relax you even deeper and deeper.

And as you continue to float and drift,

You'll gently become aware of all the beauty around you.

All the beauty below you.

All the beauty is still to discover as you float on the fluffiest of clouds.

And it may happen sooner rather than later that you become aware that all your concerns and worries are dissolving into that healing light.

And wherever you go,

And whatever you do,

You have access to this feeling of peacefulness.

This feeling of peacefulness is just one slow deep breath away.

And you allow the out-breath to be just a little longer than the in-breath.

And it may come in the form of a beautiful dream,

But far below you,

You become aware of a world of opportunities.

So many opportunities are available to you for fun,

Financial freedom,

For connection and love,

For support and friendship and for a growing sense of purpose and pride.

As you continue to float gently,

Becoming aware of those dreams that have been waiting for this moment.

For this perfect time to begin to materialize.

And it might be fun to relax even deeper now.

Trusting that with each slow deep breath,

You're safe,

You are healing.

And there may even be an imaginary button that says sleep now.

Somewhere deep in your mind that will let you drift and dream as you continue to float into your perfect dream.

Your new future floating in front of you.

Drifting further with this feeling of safety.

And you can choose to awaken the perfect time for you.

Knowing that your body is resetting.

Your immune system is working optimally.

Relaxing and drifting that perfect healing mist you can take with you wherever you go.

Drifting and dreaming.

Floating into your perfect dream.

Your perfect future.

Drifting and safe.
