Are you feeling stressed right now?

Try this simple and effective practice.

Stop what you're doing right now for just a moment.

Take two or three deep breaths,

And notice if you are holding tension in your shoulders,

Your face,

Or other body part.

Now,

Consciously drop your shoulders,

Soften your face,

Or invite any other tense area to shift even just a bit.

Now,

Notice if you are holding tension in your shoulders,

Or invite any other tense area to shift even just a bit.

Now,

Consciously drop your shoulders,

Or invite any other tense area to shift even just a bit.

Now,

Notice if you are holding tension in your shoulders,

Or invite any other tense area to shift even just a bit.

Now,

Notice if you are holding tension in your shoulders,

Or invite any other tense area to shift even just a bit.

Your body breathing you.

Invite your shoulders or other tense area to drop down again as they habitually hold tension.

Notice the in and out flow of your breath.

With each exhale,

Softening and dropping your shoulders,

Tension in your face or other area.

Notice where else you experience flow right now.

Can you sense your pulse or heartbeat?

Do you notice the movement of the breeze in the trees?

If you can walk,

Can you sense into the rhythmic nature of your steps?

Flow is a beautiful antidote to tension and stress.

Flow is a beautiful antidote to tension and stress.

So regularly stop what you're doing,

Drop down into your body and come back again into flow.

Thanks for your practice today.

As a victim of cptsd and after 3 strokes parasympathetic system has never really been there. Merci for the understading and making me feel what is so hard to be in.

You are such a light to this community, thank you for the kindness, compassion, and love that you share here. Your thoughtful words, “if you can walk “are so respectful to people in different kinds of bodies and with differing abilities and at the same time speaks to privileges that many of us hold. Being in this space is a privilege in itself in so many ways. Access to these teachings and this app and the technology that brings it to us is such a privilege. I chose this track this morning because I started my day with a course from a different teacher that I was very excited about. In the first lesson, there was an insult to homeless people followed by the common phrase “no offense to homeless people“ and I’ve spent quite some time observing my reaction to that and recognizing how upset I am and how unfair it was to a population of people who may or may not share the privilege to even access these resources. I’ve managed to resist the urge to respond there with my own negative comment, but I am still processing. Your kindness and softness is helping me to soften and I am very grateful to you for that. Thank you so very much. Sending love and light your way 🌟✨🫶✨

This was lovely and just what I needed today after a really stressful day which left me with neck and shoulder tension. Thank you 💚 Edit: and thank you also Bhanu for choosing your words carefully and considering those meditators who cannot walk.
