Thank you for joining me in meditation today! I truly believe that understanding the way the mind works can lead to a much happier, more peaceful life, and for me, meditation paved the way. I hope to bring some of this peace I've found, to you! This 5-minute meditation begins with awareness. All too often we speed through our days, allowing our subconscious mind to auto-pilot us through our busy days. I invite you to be still and aware - for just 5 minutes! We can work up to longer sitting times.

Find a comfortable seated posture.

Rest your eyes closed.

This meditation begins with awareness.

To be aware means to notice,

To have knowledge of,

To be informed of something.

In this fast-paced life we rarely take time to be still and simply be aware.

We often run on autopilot getting from one place to the next not knowing how we got there or jumping from thought to thought finding ourselves lost in our sea of thoughts.

For the next few minutes try just to be aware.

Begin to notice your thoughts acknowledging their presence.

Become aware of your surroundings just noticing what you hear what you feel.
