An extension to my Sleep meditation "Deep Rest" Due to multiple requests for a longer meditation for Sleep I have extended my original Deep Sleep & Relaxation Meditation. Instead of 10 minutes as my original, this extension goes for 22 minutes. This is for you if you were looking for the music to continue after my voice, falling deeply and comfortably into sleep. It is an honour to guide you into a field of deep nervous system rest & ease. "Deep Rest" is a gentle yet powerful journey designed to guide you effortlessly into sleep. Through soothing vocal resonance, you will be led to release the day's tension, soften your body, and quiet your mind. The purpose is to immerse you into a field of tranquility, allowing you to experience a profound sense of ease and surrender. Please allow my voice to be a sanctuary of restoration & peace for your soul. Thank you for being here

There's nothing you need to do right now,

No outcome to reach,

No part of yourself to fix before rest arrives,

You're here and that's enough.

If your body feels busy,

If your mind still lingers on unfinished threads,

That's okay.

This space isn't asking you to be still,

It's offering you permission to arrive as you are.

Let this be a soft return,

Not a performance,

I'll guide you gently,

You don't have to listen perfectly,

Just follow the feeling and the sound of my voice.

Let your breath be soft,

Not deep,

Not correct,

Just soft.

Let the inhale be light and let the exhale melt like wax.

Let your breath move downward into the belly and hips and we'll let the rest of the body follow.

Bring your awareness to the top of your head,

The scalp,

The forehead.

Let it soften,

The space around your eyes,

Your cheeks,

Your jaw.

Let your tongue relax,

Your throat widen,

Let the back of your neck begin to melt.

Bring your attention to your shoulders,

If they're holding anything,

Let it fall.

Let your arms grow heavy,

Elbows,

Wrists,

Palms,

Fingers loose and empty.

Feel your upper back,

Notice if you're still trying to hold shape.

And if you are,

Let it dissolve.

Soften any gripping,

Let your hips feel supported,

The glutes,

The thighs,

Your knees,

Shins,

Ankles,

The tops,

The soles,

The heels,

Each toe.

You have arrived inside yourself and nothing needs to be held up anymore.

You are not late to your life.

You are not behind the lot,

Holding so many things at once,

Trying to stay soft while being strong.

You don't need to carry it into sleep,

You can leave some of it here.

I'll hold it in this space.

You are not what happened today,

You are not the undone tasks,

You are not the old thoughts still echoing.

You are the field beneath it all and you are allowed to rest.

You don't have to try to let it go,

Letting go is something the body already knows how to do.

The breath knows,

The bones know,

Even your fear is getting tired now,

Even your thoughts are softening their grip.

Your body remembers what it's like to feel safe,

To feel the ground,

To close the eyes,

To disappear into your own stillness and trust that life will keep breathing without you having to hold it all.

If your mind is still listening,

It doesn't need to anymore.

You don't need to hear to the end of my voice,

You don't need to follow me to the last word.

Not because everything is resolved,

But because your soul is held.

Especially now.

Whispering truth into the silence.
