SETH Float Your Worries Away
SETH-inspired "Floating Away Your Worries" is a visualization that can be used again and again whenever worry takes over and there is a need to return to balance. Be playful inside your mind as you follow Seth's outline for letting go of worry. From SETH's book, The Way Toward Health channeled by Jane Roberts.

My name is Kathy and if you have chosen this audio,
Chances are you're already familiar with Seth.
Seth is the spiritual teacher who channeled information through author Jane Roberts from 1963 to 1984 while she was in trance.
This particular meditation was taken from the book called The Way Toward Health and it's called Floating Away Your Worries.
Seth recommended this because he said that it is absolutely necessary to feel a sense of self approval in order to have a true sense of well-being.
So he recommends as much as possible to playfully imagine your worries floating away.
That it might be helpful to imagine your worries in balloons,
One labeled for each area of worry,
And then imagine them floating away or the balloon popping open or simply dissolving.
And he recommends that this be done playfully and he says you might surprise yourself and find yourself as light as a child with a new game.
So let's begin by closing our eyes.
Imagine yourself now walking into a playful area in your mind.
And that might be an outdoor playground or it might be a room that is warm and comfortable around you,
Designed just for you according to your tastes and preferences.
Or it might be a place that you went as a child,
A place that feels playful to you.
And in this place,
In your imagination,
Notice that there is a comfortable place for you to sit.
And it might be a park bench.
Or it might be a lounge chair.
Or it might actually be on a beach.
And whatever it is for you is just right.
As you notice yourself settling down into that comfortable space,
That playful space.
As if you could feel the playfulness rising inside yourself.
And as you rest and settle there,
You notice yourself relaxing more and more.
Becoming even more comfortable.
With every moment that passes.
And perhaps you are sitting on that bench or in that chair.
Looking out at the sky.
And perhaps there are beautiful white clouds just floating and drifting across the sky.
And soon you notice in this playful,
Wonderful place.
Someone walking toward you,
Who is carrying a bouquet of helium balloons in all different colors.
You begin to think about and ponder what you would like to let go of today.
What worries,
What fears,
What concerns you are ready to let float away.
And the person that's carrying the helium balloons gets closer and closer with each step.
And you notice that you are relaxing more and more.
Feeling much more calm inside.
Going deeper and deeper into that place and space of relaxation.
And somehow,
You already know how many balloons,
You're going to ask for.
And you already know which colors you prefer.
And the colors of those balloons are as varied as the rainbow.
And somehow you know that those balloons are free to you.
And you get to choose whatever colors are right for you.
So as you rest and settle there.
In the chair or on the bench.
The carrier of the balloons gets closer and closer.
And you relax,
Even more.
And as that person arrives next to you.
You ask for three balloons,
Choosing the colors that you want.
And this person hands over the balloons.
And you notice that each one of them is weighted on the bottom.
And that each one of them gets set down right next to you.
And they stay right there next to you.
As the balloon carrier leaves to go.
To find someone else.
Someone else who might like some free balloons today.
And you notice a sense of calm and peace inside yourself.
As you feel that sense of playfulness.
Knowing that you can put inside that first balloon.
Whatever it is that you choose.
You might choose your smallest worry first.
Or you might choose your largest worry first.
And whatever it is that you decide is right for you.
You pick up that very first balloon.
And you reach inside your body.
You reach inside your mind.
You reach inside your thoughts.
And you realize that that worry is ready to be released.
And you put it inside the balloon.
And perhaps you even search inside yourself a second time to make sure that you got it all.
Perhaps you notice a worry thought that's floating around somewhere.
And you quickly grab it and put it inside the balloon.
And you let yourself look inside yourself.
Until you know you've got it all.
Until you've got all that worry.
You look inside of that balloon.
And just like a child.
You take the weight off the balloon.
And let that worry begin to float away.
And you watch it as it goes up into the sky.
As it continues to float away further and further.
You see that balloon getting smaller and smaller.
And as you do you realize that you are feeling better and better.
As it continues to float away further and further.
And you're feeling better and better.
And as you watch that balloon closely.
Soon it is so small.
It is so tiny.
And all of a sudden.
It is gone.
It is gone.
It is completely gone.
And you feel wonderful.
You feel much lighter.
Much happier.
And much more centered now.
And now you understand the power of what Seth recommended.
So you take the second balloon.
And pull out that next batch of worries.
And this time it is easier.
As you pull those worries out.
And check inside yourself.
Checking every corner.
Checking every crevice in your thoughts.
And in your body.
In your feelings.
And in your emotions.
And you pull those worries all out.
And put them inside that second balloon.
And when you know you've got it.
When you know you've got it all.
And you put it into that balloon.
You once again disconnect the balloon from the weight.
And that balloon begins to float away.
There is a feeling of childlike giddiness within you.
That child within you is feeling stronger and steadier.
Feeling much more empowered.
Feeling better and better about yourself.
As that balloon filled with worries floats away.
And you notice and you watch how quickly it floats up.
And up.
And up into the sky.
Getting smaller and smaller.
Getting further and further away.
And as it gets further away.
And smaller.
And further.
You notice once again.
That you are feeling better and better.
Feeling much more playful.
Much more free.
Much more inner peace and calm now.
Now you reach for the third balloon.
The third and final balloon.
And you start putting your worries and concerns.
Inside that balloon.
And as you do.
You might notice.
That you grab as many worries and fears as you can.
And put it inside the balloon.
And you already know that the balloon can hold everything that you put inside of it.
And you check inside your mind.
Your body.
Your emotions.
Your feelings.
Your thoughts.
And you bring all of that worry.
Into that balloon.
Filling it up completely.
And maybe it's huge.
And large.
And you almost wonder.
How it's going to float away.
And still.
When you finish clearing out any worries.
And you double check just to make sure you got it all.
And when you've got it.
When you know you've got it.
You release the balloon.
That balloon begins to float away.
That great big helium balloon.
Is floating up to the sky.
And as it gets further and further away from you.
It becomes smaller and smaller.
And as it gets further and further away from you.
You feel better and better.
All the while.
All of those worries.
All of those fears.
All of those concerns.
Floating further and further away.
Getting smaller and smaller.
And soon.
You notice that balloon.
Pops.
And it is gone.
All three are gone.
They are gone.
They are completely gone.
And you feel a sense of wonder.
At how playful and delighted you feel.
And you already know.
You can come back to this playful place at any time.
To make your life better and better.
Feeling calm now.
And approving of yourself.
Gently and easily now.
Allowing yourself to bring back that playfulness.
To the here and the now.
Feeling wonderful about being you.
Feeling calm and relaxed and peaceful inside.
Coming back more and more.
Wiggling your fingers and your toes in a playful way.
And coming back now.
To the powerful moment of now.
Opening your eyes when you are ready.
Are waiting for you.
