As you breathe in and breathe out,

I wonder if you can feel that one place of calm that is right there inside your body.

And I can't know if that one place is at the bottom of your little toe.

Or if that one place of peace and calm is right there in the tip of your little finger.

But I do know that when you find that calm,

You can allow it now to expand just a little bit as if it were moving effortlessly through your body.

And it's almost as if that feeling of calm was just waiting there,

Ready to move in between your eyes,

Relaxing your forehead,

Smoothing out those thoughts as if those thoughts were becoming further and further apart now.

And as your forehead smooths out,

That feeling of calmness that was always there begins to move around your eyes as if it were erasing any cares or any worries in those tiny muscles around your eyes.

And that feeling of calm moves into your nose as you breathe in and breathe out just a little bit more gently,

Almost as if there were a rhythm that is so peaceful,

So deeply calming that that peace spreads ever so gently down into your mouth and jaw now.

And I wonder,

I wonder if you know that when the tongue relaxes at the bottom of your mouth completely,

That the entire face has to relax.

And I just wonder if you can remember to forget any cares or concerns from the day as your mind drifts peacefully,

Do you breathe in and breathe out and noticing that calm,

Easy feeling flowing into the back of your neck now and any tension or cares release easily from the back of your neck now.

And even your throat feels peaceful and calm as if it were unwinding,

Releasing,

Letting go of any tension now.

And that calm,

Comfortable feeling allows you to drift easily into a deep and calm sleep as that comfort moves down into your shoulders and you set aside any responsibilities because this is your time,

Your time to relax deeply now and you feel that comfort flowing down into your arms now ever so gently and you realize that that one tiny feeling of calm is spreading down into your arms and down into your hands and even down into the tips of your fingers and it's almost as if that feeling of calm were a beautiful glowing color as your hands feel warm and heavy and that calmness now spreads down into your chest and back,

Even into your organs because you already know that your organs function flawlessly in a deeply relaxed state and your entire body lets go as that calm flows down through your entire digestive system and it flows down into your hips now and you notice that peacefulness relaxing your legs,

Flowing down so effortlessly,

Releasing any cares or concerns as you feel more and more calm and relaxed.

And all of this peacefulness inside allows you to relax even deeper and deeper and it's almost as if you could imagine yourself walking through a lovely forest and as you step into that forest you notice that the canopy of trees allows just enough sunlight to flow through so that it creates a magical design right there on the floor of the forest and you notice that design is beautiful and yet ever changing as the leaves move and the sunlight sparkles flowing down above you and perhaps you notice yourself taking each individual step,

Feeling that step first with the heel of your foot and then ever so gently noticing that foot coming down as if it were so comfortably just rolling onto the ball of your foot.

And then finally as if they had been waiting a long time the soft pads of the toes touch the earth and perhaps you are watching your foot make contact with the earth and perhaps it's an experience of noticing every grain of sand or even the feeling of moisture under your feet and perhaps there is a softness there as you're aware of your feet touching the earth and I can't know what that is for you but I do know that that one calm step in the forest allows calmness to flow up your entire body and I do know that that one calm step in the forest allows calmness to flow down into the earth and I do know that that one calm step in the forest allows the birds there to notice you ever so gently and I do know that that one calm step in the forest might allow a butterfly to simply light gently on your hand or shoulder as you peacefully move slowly and gently upon the earth now and as you move slowly and gently upon the earth now you can let it become a prayer or a meditation of sorts as if you were a monk who has devoted their life to stepping gently on the earth and being gentle among people and you begin to become aware that this journey of calm can affect everything in your life eating gently and speaking gently all of it allowing your footprint to be kind on the earth and you find yourself pondering that thought feeling the vibration of the earth the healing gentle vibration at 8.
