Dr Catherine Hynes

Catherine is a clinical psychologist with a background in neuroscience and philosophy. Wellbeing Wisdom was founded to share insights from therapy, brain science and philosophy with the general public. Its aim is to enhance wellbeing outside the therapy room, since psychology has something helpful to offer us every day, not only when we find ourselves in distress. Catherine is always reading and researching in her disciplines of therapy, neuroscience and philosophy to keep up to date, and her work in this area is informed by evidence based practice, is always grounded in neurobiology, and is informed by thoughtful philosophical practice.

Very helpful practical suggestions and clarification on this aspect of mindfulness. Also a great reminder to practice grounding techniques regularly so that it is easier to use them when my brain has gone to ffff or overwhelm. Thank you.
