Welcome to this five minute gratitude meditation.
Find a comfortable seat,
Close your eyes,
And take a moment to settle into a relaxed position.
Allow yourself to fully be present here.
As you begin,
Take deep breaths in,
Filling your lungs with fresh air,
And exhale slowly.
Releasing any tension from your body.
Feeling yourself slowly start to relax.
Let's start by grounding ourselves.
Feel the weight of your body against the surface you're sitting on.
Feel the support underneath you.
Breathe naturally.
Tuning into the rhythm of your breath.
In this moment,
Set your intention.
Decide to dedicate these next few minutes to the practice of gratitude,
To acknowledging the blessings in your life.
So many amazing blessings are surrounding you.
Some of which we take for granted.
Now bring to mind three things you're grateful for.
They can be simple,
Like the morning sunshine,
A kind word,
Or the taste of your favorite food.
Feel the gratitude for these things resonate within you.
Let your senses come alive.
Listen to the sounds around you.
The gentle hum of life.
The rhythm of your breath.
Notice any sense in the air.
And feel the sensation of touch against your skin.
Keep breathing,
Filling your lungs with that fresh,
Fresh air.
Cleansing away anything that no longer serves you with a simple exhale.
Place your hand on your heart.
And as you exhale,
Feel your heart beat in your chest.
Place your hand on your heart.
Feel its gentle beat.
That's the source of life within you.
Imagine a warm,
Radiant light growing from your heart.
Expanding with each breath.
It's getting bigger and bigger every time you think about it.
Every time you think about it,
And you breathe into it.
This light is your gratitude.
Encompassing your entire being.
Our golden heart energy.
As you breathe in,
Repeat silently,
I am thankful for the blessings in my life.
As you breathe out,
Say,
I appreciate the beauty around and within me.
Let's breathe in and repeat silently,
I am thankful for the blessings in my life.
As you breathe out,
Say,
I appreciate the beauty around and within me.
Feel the resonance of these words within your chest.
Now take a moment to return to your breath.
Feel its steady flow connecting you back to the present moment.
Inhale,
Gratitude,
And exhale any remaining tension or worry.
As we come to the close of our meditation,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Feel the energy of gratitude filling you.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carrying this feeling of gratitude with you as you continue your day.
Allowing it to uplift and guide you.
