To begin,
Find a quiet and comfortable place where you can sit without distractions.
Choose a seated position that feels relaxed and natural,
Either on a chair or cross-legged on a cushion.
Rest your hands gently in your lap,
On your thighs,
With the palms facing up.
A gesture of openness to the energy of balancing and healing.
Allow your spine to be tall but soft,
Letting energy flow freely through your body.
Softly close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling the lungs.
And slowly exhale through the mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress from your day.
As you settle into this moment,
Prepare to bring harmony and balance to your energy centers.
Let's begin by connecting with your body and breath,
Grounding ourselves for this chakra balancing practice.
Begin by taking three slow,
Deep breaths.
Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale fully through your mouth,
Allowing each breath to bring you deeper into relaxation.
Feel your body grounded,
Supported by the surface beneath you.
Allow yourself to feel connected to the earth,
Solid and steady.
Now gently bring your attention to your legs.
With each exhale,
Release any tension or tightness you may feel in the thighs,
The knees or the calves.
Move your awareness to your hips,
Abdomen and chest.
Feel your breath rising and falling,
Creating space within your body for relaxation and balance.
Bring your awareness up to your shoulders,
The neck and arms,
Allowing them to soften and release.
Finally,
Bring attention to your face.
Relax your jaw.
Soften your forehead.
With every breath,
Feel your entire body becoming more relaxed,
Present and aligned,
Preparing you for the chakra balancing visualization.
Now that you're grounded and relaxed,
Let's begin the chakra balancing visualization.
Imagine a glowing red light at the base of your spine.
This is the root chakra,
The foundation of your energy.
As you inhale,
See the light growing brighter,
Filling your body with feelings of stability,
Safety and groundedness.
As you exhale,
Imagine releasing any fears or insecurities,
Bringing peace to this energy center.
Now move your awareness upward to your lower abdomen where your sacral chakra resides.
Visualize an orange light glowing here.
As you breathe in,
See that orange light expanding,
Filling you with creativity,
Joy and emotional balance.
As you exhale,
Release any blockages or stagnant energy,
Allowing the chakra to flow freely.
Next,
Focus on the area just above your navel,
Your solar plexus chakra.
Imagine a bright yellow light radiating from the space.
With each inhale,
Feel this yellow light strengthening your sense of confidence and personal power.
As you exhale,
Let go of any doubts or feelings of inadequacy,
Restoring harmony to the energy center.
Now bring your attention to the center of your chest.
It's your heart chakra.
Picture a glowing green light filling the space.
As you inhale,
Feel this green light expanding,
Bringing love,
Compassion and emotional healing into your life.
As you exhale,
Release any feelings of grief or heartache,
Allowing love to flow freely through this chakra.
Move your awareness to your throat,
The throat chakra,
And visualize a blue light glowing brightly.
With each inhale,
Feel the blue light filling you with clarity,
With truth,
And with self-expression.
And as you exhale,
Release any fear of speaking your truth,
Opening yourself to honest communication.
Now focus on the space between your eyebrows,
Your third eye chakra.
Imagine a deep indigo light glowing right here.
With each breath,
See this indigo light expanding,
Enhancing your intuition,
Insight,
And inner wisdom.
As you exhale,
Release any mental fog or confusion,
Bringing clarity and vision to this energy center.
Finally,
Bring your attention to the crown of your head,
Your crown chakra.
Visualize a radiant,
Violent,
And white light shining here.
With each inhale,
Feel this light connecting you to higher consciousness,
Wisdom,
And spiritual insight.
And as you exhale,
Release any feelings of disconnection or separation,
Allowing yourself to feel at peace,
Connected to the universe.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine all of your chakras glowing brightly.
What a mouthful!
Aligned and balanced and bringing a sense of harmony,
Peace,
And connection.
Yeah,
So breathe in.
As we begin to close this meditation,
Gently bring your awareness back to your breath and take a few breaths.
Feeling the rise and fall of your chest and belly,
Begin to notice the sensations in your body,
The sounds around you,
And the feeling of the ground beneath you.
When you feel ready,
Slowly start to move your fingers and toes,
Bringing small moments back to your body.
Roll your shoulders,
Stretch your arms,
Move in any way that feels comfortable.
When you're fully present,
Softly open your eyes.
Now take a moment to reflect on how you feel.
You might feel lighter,
Maybe more balanced,
And hopefully connected to your inner energy.
Carry this sense of peace and alignment with you throughout your day,
Knowing that you have the ability to bring balance and harmony to your mind,
Body,
And spirit.
And breathe.
