Hi,
My name is Carla DiCretza and this is your Connecting to Soul meditation.
Find yourself in a comfortable seat,
Preferably sitting up,
Feet touching the ground,
Crown of your head lengthening up towards the sky.
When you feel ready,
Close down your eyes and take a deep breath in,
Fill up and a cleansing breath out.
One more big inhale,
Pause at the top,
Maybe taking in a little extra sip of air and slowly slowly exhale out your mouth.
Now imagine yourself in your favourite place.
This could be a particular location where you feel at peace or perhaps just somewhere out in nature,
At the beach,
In the forest,
Sitting on a mountain or by a crackling fire.
Take in your landscape,
What can you see?
The colours,
A horizon perhaps?
Take a few gentle steps.
What textures can you feel under your feet?
Notice the sounds,
The air travelling through your lungs as you take a deep breath in,
Expanding your chest,
Your heart and as you exhale you ground down,
Finding comfort in the earth beneath you.
You see a vibrant figure ahead,
Slowly walking towards you.
You feel a calming sense the second you lay your eyes on them.
You notice they look just like you.
Then you notice this figure is your soul.
Your spirit.
Your true open radiant self.
They continue walking towards you with open arms and as you meet,
You embrace.
A heart filled,
Open,
Loving,
Connected embrace.
Now sit with your soul and ask them these following questions.
What do I need to know from you in this moment?
And how can I support myself right now?
Be aware not to rush the answers.
Just sit here with your soul.
Let the answers come in at their own time.

When you feel it's time,
Acknowledge and thank your soul.
Let them know that you will hold them close to you.
