Hi,

My name is Carla Di Cretza and this is your future self meditation.

Before we begin,

Allow yourself to lie down or find yourself in a comfortable seated position.

Ensure that the environment around you has no distractions so that you can take this moment and this time through this meditation to really tune into yourself.

We'll take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale out the mouth.

One more like that.

Maybe there's a sigh in there as we take a deep breath in and sigh it out.

Closing down the eyes nice and gently.

Starting to tune into how you're feeling,

Relaxing down and the material underneath you.

Now imagine yourself sitting in a beautiful lush green garden.

The sunlight is hitting your skin,

It's warm and there's a slight breeze in the air.

You can hear birds singing all around you in the trees and a slight faint sound of a stream of water beyond the trees.

The sound of nature is so relaxing.

You sit there in this beautiful garden and tune in to all the sounds around you.

You become a little bit curious about the sound of the stream of water.

It's such a warm day you think oh this would be so lovely to go and visit a river or a lake.

So you decide to stand up and walk towards this stream.

Your curiosity leads you out of the garden and into the bush,

Walking amongst the trees and down to the water's source.

It's a river,

A beautiful crystal blue river beckoning you to dive in.

You're warm from all the walking and lean down to feel the temperature of the water.

It's cool and so clear so you slowly start to lower yourself into the river and it's oh so refreshing.

You float on your back and look up to the sky taking in the beauty around you of the lush green treetops and clear blue sky.

You close your eyes and float peaceful,

Grateful,

Taking in all the nature around you.

You swim over to the water's edge and lift yourself gently out of the river.

You have this sense that you're now in the future and take a moment to determine how far in the future you are.

As you walk back towards your garden you see a house and immediately know it's your future self's house.

You walk up to the front door and knock a few times.

Someone answers the door and you realize you're gazing into the eyes of your future self.

Take a moment here to be aware of how you feel around your future self.

What is being in their presence like?

What is their demeanor like?

They give you a heartwarming smile and embrace and welcome you inside.

You enter slowly absorbing your surroundings.

Notice your surroundings here.

Notice the expression on your future self's face.

They take you to a special place within this home.

As you both sit down together ask them any question you feel you're being called to ask.

Now ask your future self what is it I need to know right now and is there anything specific that I should focus on?

What is it I need to know right now?

Is there anything specific that I should focus on?

Now take this moment to ask your future self if there's anything further they'd like to share with you.

When you're ready thank your future self for all the wisdom that they've shared.

You might like to give them a warm embrace as they slowly start to guide you out of the home.

You slowly start to walk back through the garden and walk down to the river.

You feel so grateful for all of the knowledge that you've just heard.

You sit there with yourself by the riverside closing down your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale out the mouth.

And when you're ready you slowly start to open your eyes and once you open your eyes you notice you're back in the current present state.

You might like to place one hand on one heart,

On your heart one hand on your belly and take a deep breath into this space and a grounding breath out.

From here you might like to jot down any notes of wisdom that came to you through this meditation.

Feel free to listen to this meditation as many times as you like or whenever you feel called to.
