Hi my name is Carla Di Cretza and we are practicing today a visualization meditation.
This is part two of our tropical rainforest adventures.
So just making sure you're feeling comfortable making any wriggles or getting any wriggles out that you need maybe a little shake of your hands of your feet of your shoulders maybe there's a little shimmy and then allowing yourself to feel nice and comfortable maybe lying down or sitting down let's take a big breath in together and a full breath out oh so good feeling calm and centered if you like you can close down your eyes and we'll gently start to bring ourselves back to our rainforest so when you arrive in your rainforest and take a big step to begin and you inhale the fresh dewy air allowing a sense of calm to run through your entire body just like a comb gently running through your hair as if it untangles releasing any knots and as you take that exhale you start to feel at ease feel calm that warm air on your skin on your face you turn your gaze up to the vast crystal blue sky and there's a few floating fluffy clouds passing by one of them looks like a bird it has a giant fluffy beak and its big enormous wings are spread wide it looks like it's soaring through the sky on its way to some place important and as you watch the clouds and feel the warm air on your skin toucan your birdie friend comes soaring down to greet you his majestic black feathers shimmer like the night sky as he descends down from the leafy tree tops and he sings out incoming and lands on a branch just by your side hello again friend he says come with me i want to show you a special special place okay you follow toucan walking through the beautiful forest you can feel the sun's gentle rays on your skin a soft breeze on your face and through your hair and all of a sudden toucan stops and as if you stop walking to see you've been guided to a beautiful river wow it's so gorgeous it's crystal blue running so gently with many fish swimming down the stream you reach over to touch the water and notice how cool and fresh it is on your fingertips which you then use to cool yourself down by placing your hand on your neck toucan perches up onto your shoulder and says this is your river of letting go whenever you feel you may need to let a feeling or a thought that isn't serving you go you can take a leaf which has fallen from the trees and use this as a symbol to then travel down the stream as it drifts away knowing that this feeling will pass as it drifts down the river you decide to pick up a leaf and hold it hold on to it for a moment and just thinking to yourself here is there any thoughts that might be worrying me then placing that leaf onto the river and let go allowing it to drift away now if you don't have a thought you don't want to let go of that's okay too just know that you can come to this river here in your rainforest whenever you choose let's have a go at choosing one more leaf and maybe one more thought holding that leaf holding that thought and let's place it into the river and let go wow watching it gently travel down the stream now let's take a deep breath in and let it out the mouth beautiful and you can slowly start to open your eyes whenever you feel ready
