
Gems Within

Finding the gems we already have stored within us. The pieces that we have already begun to build upon. These little gems, connecting with them, allow us the realisation of all that we have already overcome and endured, as well as the virtues we carry to build a greater life.
Transcript
Find your beautiful space.
Allow yourself a moment to get comfortable.
Take a nice deep breath in and allow a long release out and start to settle.
Allow the body to begin to release deeper into your position.
Take a nice deep breath in,
Allow a long release out,
A deep sigh.
Working your way from the feet up through the body and allowing the heels to soften and connect.
Running up the back of the legs to the hips.
Allow them to place evenly.
Run through the spine and allow it to be tall yet soft.
Shoulders released.
The arms are loose and the fingers soften.
Gentle tilt forward with the chin,
Just allowing the head to be comfortable.
Taking a nice deep breath in and allowing a long release out.
Take your breath all the way down to the feet,
Breathe and feel them.
Feel into the steps and allow them to release.
Gently softening,
Gently moving onto the legs and breathing to feel.
Feeling the weight and the burden and breathing out to release.
As you release the steps and the burdens,
You move onto the hips to allow life in.
You breathe in to open the hips and allow the surge of energy in.
Allow the hips and the pelvis to soften,
To feel the energy of life.
Moving onto the stomach and breathing to feel.
Feeling to feel into the stomach.
Connect with any emotion and allowing with each breath to release.
Then you release the steps and the burdens and the weights and you are open to life.
Released of emotion and moving to the spine to allow a clear cleansed breath.
Deep from the base of the spine running all the way to the very tip of the spine and allowing that breath to spiral,
To cleanse.
And then moving to the chest and allowing the chest to fill with breath and open,
Expanding the ribs,
Filling diaphragm and lungs.
Allowing this beautiful full breath to release any emotion you feel.
Along with the steps and the weight,
Along with the emotions through the stomach,
You've released allowing life and a clear breath.
You release your shoulders,
Soften the arms and the fingers.
A gentle swallow to clear the throat.
Soften your face and take the tongue away from the roof of your mouth.
Breathing to the mind.
Breath by breath releasing the mind,
Calming the mind,
Allowing yourself to settle.
And slowly,
Not held by the steps of the past nor the weight or the burden of all that has been.
You've released the emotion,
Released the thoughts.
You're allowing life and a clear energy and a deep breath in and a long release out.
Listen quietly for a moment,
You feel your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing out.
Breathing out.
Breathing out.
Breathing it in and breathing it out.
We're going on a treasure hunt.
We're going to find all the treasures that are you.
We're going to gather moments of you.
We're going to find those times,
Those exact moments when you have felt the very most you.
Where you've been strong,
Where you've been brave,
You've had courage.
The moment you've been wonderful at love.
Where you've held compassion.
All these moments of you.
We're going to gather into our basket.
We're going to reconnect to the knowing that this you exists already within you.
That all that you seek is within you.
Seeking you.
Asking you to find you again.
So I want you to take a deep breath in and allow a long release out and take yourself back.
Back through time,
Back perhaps to your very earliest memory.
I want you to find the standout moments.
Was there a time that you stood up for yourself?
Breathe it in and breathe it out.
Look through your life from your earliest memory,
Your earliest moment to now.
Where was that moment you stood up for who you are?
No big,
No small.
Just that you did.
That you recall standing up for you.
Where was that moment that you said no?
That you said no so firmly it stopped.
The moment that something stopped because you said no.
Where was that moment?
The strength.
The courage.
Find that moment.
Landless.
Where was that moment that you had so much love for something you were doing when you were fully in the moment and happy and alive and filled with expression and joy.
Find that moment.
Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.
Where is the moment you held courage when you felt fear and yet you did it anyway.
You held courage to step forward or to step out.
Where was that moment looking through your lifetime from the earliest moment to now.
Where was courage.
Take that moment and place it within you knowing you now have the ability to be brave and strong,
Filled with joy and courage.
Where was the moment that you held compassion for someone or something that you cared deeply,
That you felt and wanted to help.
Was it for you or for another?
Where was the compassion?
Take that compassion and show yourself feel it,
See it,
Know that it is within you.
What of patience.
Where was a moment that you were patient even gentle and kind.
Where you stopped and allowed another person or animal to slowly open and gradually learn in the presence of your patience.
And we take that moment and we add it to our heart and soul.
I know within you there was a moment that you looked at you and knew that you were beautiful,
Knew that you were perfect,
That you twirled in front of the mirror and that you felt enough of your beauty to step out.
Where was that moment?
Breathe it in,
Breathe it out,
Know it,
Know that you have felt it,
Know that you have experienced it,
Know that it is within you.
Take it and place it into your basket.
Where was the moment that you made a decision and led yourself towards a great choice to an outcome that was perfect for you.
When have you made that decision?
Find that moment.
Take that moment and allow yourself to feel it,
To know that you have guided yourself,
That you have made great choices and decisions.
Place it in your basket.
And now what about love?
Where was that moment that you felt complete love for a person,
For an animal,
For your life,
For something you're doing?
When did you love deeply?
Find that moment.
Son Breathing it in.
Breathing it in.
Connecting.
Feeling that love.
And allowing yourself to be bathed in that love.
To really connect fully.
Place it in your basket and know that it is within you.
I want you now to breathe in.
Breathe out and connect again to the moments that you've felt right now.
The one for being brave and strong.
The one for courage,
Patience or compassion.
The one for love.
Any of these moments,
All of these moments,
Breathe and connect and feel yourself with the knowing that the person that you are looking for is already within you.
Has already shown up.
Is already there waiting for you to connect again.
Breathe it in.
Breathe it out and allow yourself to keep feeling and feeling with every breath this knowing of who you are within.
Breathing it in.
Breathing it out.
Allow yourself to feel connected to your breath.
Feel the breath within the body.
Breathing it out.
A nice deep breath in.
Feel the body.
Allow yourself to hold on to those moments.
To hold on to the feeling of those moments.
To hold on to the knowing that within you already is so much that you are looking for.
Taking a breath in.
Allowing a long release out.
Bring the breath down to the feet and gently connect to the toes.
Feel your breath through your body.
Feel your breath down the arms to the fingers.
Take your arms up above your head,
Clasp your hands and stretch out.
If you're laying bring your knees to your chest.
If you're sitting bring your chest to your knees and curl in.
Take a nice deep breath in.
Allow a long release out.
Give yourself a moment now to write,
To colour,
To draw,
To create the pieces of you,
The vision of you that is already there.
And what I would love for you to be able to do.
I would love for you to go back to all those traits and characteristics that you have written that you know are within you.
I want you to go back to your values and I want you to refresh yourself,
Remind yourself of all the things that you have asked to have within you.
And then I would love for you to do this meditation again and find the moments of each of these.
And as you find them bring them back to life,
Draw them,
Colour them,
Write them down,
Connect them and know that every piece of you is already within you.
